"this company is horrible, buyer beware, I originally ordered a pair of designer frames with rx lenses, but they could not verify the rx, so they cancelled my order, even though I emailed them a copy of the original rx, they then again cancelled my order. I called to have the order re-instated, at that time they were able to verify the rx with the doctor...next thing I know, the order is cancelled again ! I call customer service, who can't really help as they are only a call center, I get a lot of being put on hold +/or hang-ups, I finally reach an agent, who is willing to investigate, why my order was cancelled, and am told that my record was noted by the corporate office as someone they do not wish to service, and not to take any orders from me!!!! No reason other than one agent stating talking to me was a bad experience,( probably because I asked her did I need to have my attorney call) anyway my daughter then tried to order the frames I wanted without any rx lenses, using her info...they cancelled her order! no reason, no explanation... its crazy. I ended up calling the manufacturer of the frame I wanted, who stated that go-optic.com is not even an authorized dealer of their merchandise, and can't sell their merchandise if they wanted to, they also stated that a lot of online vendors will download pictures of various designer frames to their respective sites, to lure in business, and are not able to fulfill the order.!!!!!"
"received the glasses yesterdday,,i quarded myself,,i was doubtful,buying glasses over the internet,,i opened the box and was sooo blown away,,pput the glasses on and they fit perfectly the frame and lenses,no problem at all and the case is so cute,,i am thrilled with the service and price. will tell friends and use again...THANK YOU!!"

I authorized payment and ordered ONE PAIR of frames with prescription lenses. Go-optic then charged my Master Card not once but 4 additional & separate unauthorized times totaling over $600. They also charged another Visa account twice for $136.90 WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. I had to close both of my accounts today. This place is a full blown scam.
This happened from March 6th to March 10th.
"Suzie"and "Monica" the customer service reps, are clueless and appear to be in this scam together with "Joseph" who claims to be the manager but NEVER AVAILABLE. Do not give Go-Optic any personal information over the phone.

"i placed an order, waited for around a day, but they couldnt not verify my credit card, they said it is invalid. That does not make sense because I used it in many other websites.
My credit card is based in Beirut, Lebanon so maybe that scared them off. (My shipping address is in NY however, I wanted to send a gift to my friend) They asked me for the bank's phone number, waited for a day again, and they emailed me again saying sorry we could not verify you card. I am quite sure they didnt even try to call the bank (because of the 10-hour time zone difference)
All in all, i wasted more than 3 days, emails back and forth, and they canceled my order in the end. Quite disappointing. "
"I LOVED the selection, but i didn't like that there weren't pictures for all the frames available and if there were pictures some of the colors you couldn't view. Another thing i didn't like is that you can't use your vision insurance. I will definitely tell other people to use this site (I told my sister about it and she is ordering very soon!!)but i do recommend going to an actual optical place to try on different styles and sizes BEFORE you order!!"
"Alright, I bought a frame in my hometown 4 years ago (brand O&X) in my hometown Vienna in Austria. Now I wanted the same model again but no luck in the shops here in Vienna. As I havent found it anywhere so I tried go-optic as they are the only internet supplier who say that they have this model. After sending my order I've read dozens of unhappy customers which made me think "$hit - the money is lost - or at least 10% cancelation fee." well.... to cut a long story short it took them 5 days to process the order and 14 days later they shipped the box (at this time I tought they sent me something but not the model I wanted) finally - 20 days later I received what I wanted - no customs to pay. Express. I am happy. It took them longer because of season end time and they had to backorder this old model from a stock from I dont know where - but I was not in a hurry so I am quite happy."

"Good selection/price. Responsive staffs. Prescription lenses are good. However, the eyeglasses ($150+) I received is defective enough that it could not have been sold had this been an actual store. The problem is the left arm. First, the metal insert inside the black plastic arm almost stick through the surface. I am sure this is a manufacturing defect, but Go-optic does not bother to care (or they buy defect ones cheap to resell). Second, the black plastic arm is curved like a wave. When put a ruler next to it, it is clearly bended in the middle of the arm. The right arm, on the other hand, is not curved in the middle at all. Third, the black plastic is not perfectly secured to the metal insert. It can be moved front and back slightly. Needless to say, I am quite disappointed by the quality of the glasses. "

"Please, do not buy from them. they are plain thieves and liers. They will send you something cheaper, they do not take return, they do not replace lenses. This place should be shut down.
There's no customer service. I wish I've seen this site. What happened to me is such a nightmare I have never experienced from a vendor. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM."
"THIS IS A SHELL CALL CENTER IN WILMINGTON, DELAWARE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS OUT OF LOMITA, CA. THEIR FRAMES ARE GREAT. NO PROBLEM THERE. JUST BE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT NUMBERS AND YOU WILL BE FINE. THE LENS ARE THE WORST. MY LENSES CAME WITH 3MM OF DISTANCE VIEWING AND ALL THE REST WAS READING BIFOCAL. I WAS SHOCKED NO ONE CALLED AND SAID LETS LOOK AT THIS, SINCE I WARNED I HAVE NAUSEA WHEN DRIVING IF MY EYES DRIFT INTO THE READING PART AND TO KEEP IT VERY LOW. I RETURNED THE LENS AND THEY SAID THERE IS NO REFUND OR CORRECTION ON LENS. THEY KEPT SAYING THEY DID THE RIGHT THING. NOW I ASK YOU... COULD ANYONE DRIVE OUT OF 3MM? ANYONE? DON'T EVER EVER GET LENS FROM THIS COMPANY. BEAUTIFUL WEBSITE AND IT IS A FRAUD FOR LENS."
