"The tour was extremely well organized and the places where we visited were interesting. 0ur tour guide, Rosa, was very cooperative, sweet young Italian girl who was well traveled and knew her job well. The local guides were knowledgeable. 0ur bus drivers were always very kind and always on time. The hotels were ok, but some were too far from city centers and we usually had to take taxis to our hotels. This tour was for very active people. Make sure you read the itinerary well, otherwise you will be very tired and exhausted. The breakfasts were always excellent, but the dinners were about average. "

"I highly recommend the London, Paris, Rome tour. This was a trip we planned for a couple of years. We were not disappointed. We have never gone on a tour before and we loved it! You can do as much or as little as you want with the tour group. We had the best Tour Director Reuben White. He was the greatest! He went out of his way to fulfill any special requests. It was really nice to have guidance when you are in a foreign county to help navigate around each city. Reuben was right there with his recommendations. "Our recent trip to Budapest, Prague, Vienna and Salzburg was exceptional as the other four trips we have taken with Goahead have been. What stands out in my mind are the great tour guides that accompanied us on tour. Jurgen was just great, so knowledgeable in the history of the countries we traveled, he was very attentive and kept our great flock of tourist together and happy.
Central Europe is so beautiful I was amazed at the progress Hungary and the Czech Republic have made since the opening up to the west. Everyone along the way was ready to make our stay something to remember, the hotels were excellent and the included breakfast was perfect. I really liked the breakfast and the interesting people I was able to talk with. The City of Prague is like a picture out of a story book with beautiful buildings and Churches, with a view from the Charles bridge all of the red roofs really light up the city.
But I guess the City of Salzburg came in first. The day after we arrived there was a typical German fest in the main plaza of the city. The fest came complete with great German wurst and beer and even a polka band. It was an excellent setting. I could have stayed there for weeks. The city is surrounded by beautiful mountains making the weather cool and fresh.
Our flights to Europe and back were also trouble free. I can’t wait for my next experience. "

"A tour of Spain in May was my first experience with Go Ahead Tours. Initially, I had planned a tour of Israel in September, 2014, but changed my plans because of the unrest at the time. Go Ahead was extremely accommodating by allowing me to exchange one tour for another with just a month or so notice. Changing my tour destination to a less expensive one allowed me to bring a friend. That too, went along without a "hitch". My friend and I had the time of our lives. Spain was amazing and the group we toured with was within our age group which made bonding with them inevitable. Our tour director, Rafael, was wonderful and I can't say enough about how he contributed to the success of the trip. In fact, if I go back to Spain, and I hope to, I want him to accompany us again."
