Don’t shop here!!

"Bought a light.. sent it back and they made me pay return shipping at a cost of over 80.00. And only would accept the light if I sent it Fed Ex or UPS. Plus restocking fee!! This place is a complete scam. If you do buy a light from here make sure it’s what you want .. they don’t cater to customers their a jippo outfit. Rachel in customer service is condescending and ignores your concerns of refund policies.. Buy your lights from Home Depot or Lowe’s.. You can get same lights this jippo outfit sells at a fraction of the price and their refund process is hassle free. This outfit still owes me 200.00 and ignores all attempts for me to recover my loss. 100% scammers! Lousy people. "

Bad Experience Obtaining a Return

"Product was returned on March 26. April 12 and still waiting for a return.

Followed up on 4/8 and they said they processes but still do not have.

Now wasting my time disputing charge with my credit card company.

Absolutely Wonderful!

"We purchased knobs for our new home (knobs, pulls, handles 110 pieces in total)-- everything was delivered timely and very, very well packaged. Totally impressed with the entire process, from navigating the website, to check out, it was all very easy.

"Friendly and prompt customer service. My original shipment had a physical defect (I ordered the glass cube handle), but the customer service rep was very efficient and helpful in coordinating a replacement with me. Great communication, too. Just wish that the original shipment had a product that was inspected better to reflect the product photo. My glass "cube" handle was slanted and uneven, vs. being an actual cube. Replacement product was great, though."

Said they would price match….

"Literally the worst experience of my life. Took five days to process a return - trying to think I’d forget about the return. Wouldn’t price match as they said wayfair wasn’t a real retailer!!!!!! Stay away. They are absolutely horrible!!!!!"

One of the worst experiences ever. Poor customer service. Poor communication.

"One of the worst experiences ever. Poor customer service. Poor communication.

We ordered 3 med/large chandeliers and 4 small ones in March 2022. I received the small ones but the med/ large ones have been backordered since then. I decided to wait as I was told it would be another month (in March) However, each month I call back for an update and am told a new UNCONFIRMED ship date. Today I called and was told that the date is now MAY/JUNE 2023!

Now, they are unwilling to take back the small chandeliers because it has been several months. They told me I had to return my items within a month of the purchase day, but they changed the delivery date 1 week after the original delivery date, promising it would ship out soon.

As a contractor, I cannot leave a project unfinished. I am continuing to try to return the 4 small chandeliers, but do not have faith they will return my money.

Save your money and purchase items elsewhere.

"I placed and order said it was delivered 10 days later it finally shows up out in front of house by the street.
So I said I want to return, $80 to sent back!
Long story short Terrible customer service!

Excellent Customer Service!

"I was having trouble with prices during my purchase and check-out process and I contacted Customer Service via their E-mail. Elana reached back to me the next day with a resolution. She also happened to be the person I spoke with the following day when I placed my order. Again, she was very helpful. This was a very positive experience and I look forward to working with them again. And Kudos to Elana for being so helpful!"

terrible customer service attitude

"As another reviewer wrote, good luck returning something to them! I received a floor lamp that is defective and they require pictures of proof that it is defective. The burden of proof should NOT be on the customer! Any reputable seller would gladly make it easy for a customer to return a defective product."

Good luck if you need to return!

"Everything seemed great from the initial purchase, good price and even fast shipping but unfortunately the items were not going to work out. The listing did not have adequate size description, my fault for taking a chance, but upon sending a request to return it became one hassle after another and several days between for representatives to get back with me. First they have to "authorize" your return. Once that happens they send RMA. You must provide tracking and can only return via select methods. After paying near the cost of one light for return shipping, the items have been back at their warehouse for 30 days and I'm still waiting because they cannot locate them (despite tracking showing they signed for them) so they will not process my return."

Fabulous customer service

"Had ordered a gorgeous fixture which was backordered. Went to the site to order another fixture and noticed the big Labor Day sale had reduced the price of my backordered fixture. Contacted customer service. They immediately honored the sale price, responded quickly and were friendly and professional! I am totally impressed by the integrity of this company as well as their selection and prices. 100% recommend...A+!! There is so little true customer service these days that this company's approach is refreshing and admirable. We are loyal customers!!"

Excellent customer service

"We purchased outdoor lighting for our deck. We ordered them when they were back ordered & received them just days before we left on vacation for 3 months. We installed them when we returned. Turned out that we unknowingly installed them upside down! When it rained the globe filled with moisture. Hannah & her co-workers in the returns department could not have been more helpful. They were even willing to give us a full refund if we wanted to return them. Who does that? We reinstalled them properly & now we have no problem with the sconces when it rains.
I would highly recommend Going Lighting for the quality & price of their products and for their professional service.

Just Out to Take advantage

"In January, I ordered a light from Going Lighting. They made me pay and I did. then, weeks later, I found out the light was on back order. I called them and they had no idea when it would be in stock. I then told them I would have to look for a substitute, and told them to cancel the order and refund my purchase. They did neither. Then four months later, out of the blue, the light arrived without any advance warning. When I called them and said I did not want the light and had cancelled the order, I was met with a sullen response, telling me if I wanted to return it, I would have to get authorization. Several days later, I did and I returned the light, in its unopened package and had to pay the cost of returning it myself, per their requirement by UPS. I paid, to include the return costs, over $600.00 for a light I did not want and had cancelled. I just received $331.00 from them, with deductions for "re-stockage fee" on a light I cancelled and nothing for the costs of shipping back to them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are only intent in gouging you!"
