Navis handled all the interactions with US customs. The boxes were not damaged in any way and there were no issues with US customs. My interactions with Navis were all by email and telephone. The Navis person (Bernice) was professional, polite, patient and helpful. I am 100% satisfied."

"Background, had 2 antique pieces approximately 400 years old, going from NYC to KC. I engaged Navis on basis of promoting themselves as specializing in antique pieces. The pickup was anything but. 2 guys, 1 dolly, no special or even basic measures to ensure safety of pieces. For instance, no shrinkwrap or bands to keep doors or drawers from flying open. Basically a simple load and go. As a first exposure it made me nervous. Fast forward, about 4 weeks afterwards, pieces arrived KC. On 1 oversized pallet, the pallet slats had broken, the steel banding had slipped off, the pallet had been stacked on. Sidenote, I had worked LTL for 10 years w Roadway. Fortunately the packaging and packing was sufficient to prevent any obvious damage despite some penetrations and holing. So at end of day, items arrived intact but as stated, first impressions
on initial contact w antique items should be more than load and go. "
