This is especially important when you buy a game that was published in 2018 to play on your $1200 monitor, and it does not support 21:9 because the developers were lazy or because they think there is some multiplayer advantage to having a 21:9 monitor. So before you buy a game from GMG, make sure you spend 20-40 hours researching whether there are any catches to the game, or just buy it directly from STEAM instead."

"Keys have activated always without a problem and programs like Coupon cabin work on the site to save you additional money. Only few things I would like is if they brought back their pay to play system as well as be more clear how the key will be activated. I bought Rainbow Six siege from them only to find out it was a Uplay key and not a Steam key. Be cool as well if they did something like Gamersgate or Humble were you get a percentage back toward your next purchase.

However their return policy for mistaken purchases, which thankfully hasn't affected me (but has affected people I know), leaves something to be desired. "Bought a product from them @ £16.39, meant to buy shadow of war season pass but in the search box it showed shadow of Mordor so bought completely in error, wouldn’t refund or credit, basically said it’s tough as per their terms of service. If I’d wanted Mordor I could have bought the game of the year edition at cdkeys.com including season pass for £3.99 !

"Green Man Gaming is a must for a PC gamer. If there's a new game out, and it's not on sale on Steam, you can often get a better deal at GMG. I've never needed to contact GMG with any problem in the 5 or so years I've bought games from their website. I've never had a problem receiving a CD-key. My orders always arrive in my inbox instantly.
There's a few reasons I give GMG a 4 and not a 5. The sales are good but not amazing. They are roughly level with the market, same sale you get at Steam but just occurring at a different time, for the most part. That and their selection doesn't have everything. "
