"Many years ago, as I would visit business, I would occasionally see a small poster in some back room (usually where customers never were invited) that would show three intersecting circles labeled Price, Quality and Quick Delivery. Below the three circles it read, "Pick Any Two." However, my experience with grillpartssearch.com was absolutely where all three circles did converge and I didn't have to lower my expectations to 'pick any two'. I ordered three new stainless steel burners for my very old grill (everyone else was selling mild steel burners) for a price that was the best. They arrived within a week. Good job, guys! I called company 4 days later to find out some parts were on back order. if the order was not going to be shipped why not email me and advise me? Isn't that why companies ask for your email address or is it to send questionnaire's and ask for a rating before you even get the part. I'm sorry you "thought" all of the parts you ordered were in stock when you placed your order, but this was certainly not the case and very clear information was provided on our website that said products were not in stock prior to you placing your order. We provide detailed information about all of our shipping policies on our "shipping" page and provide detailed information about each and every product on each product page. If you had read any of the information provided to you before placing your order, you certainly wouldn't have "thought" products which were not in stock were in stock. The stock status of each item is immediately above the "add to cart" button for each product. (It's about 1 cm above the button.) This means you clicked "add to cart" without reading the information right in front of you. As to why we did not contact you that the order was not going to be shipped, we were under the impression you would have read the information we provided and were acutely aware that your order would not ship until the out of stock items arrived to us. Why would we need to email you your order wasn't going to be shipped when we already stated it wouldn't ship before you placed it? We ask for your email address for several reasons. First, is to provide you with a copy of your order. Second, is to provide you with updates as to your order status if something happens outside of the window we stated you should expect your order up front. Since we expect the out of stock items to arrive within the time frame we stated up front, there was no need to email you. I've since spoken with you in regards to your order and you already placed an order for what you need with another company. It was never brought to our attention that you were needing another part until now. You placed an order for an electrode and we sent you the electrode that you ordered. We would have assisted you if you had contacted us. We are here to help but we are not mind readers. As far as the shipping, you placed your order on the 29th and it was shipped out on the 30th. Your package was out for delivery on the 3rd and a notice was left. Based on the tracking information it was redelivered to you on the 7th. We do not have control of the United States Postal Service.
