"Many years ago, as I would visit business, I would occasionally see a small poster in some back room (usually where customers never were invited) that would show three intersecting circles labeled Price, Quality and Quick Delivery. Below the three circles it read, "Pick Any Two." However, my experience with grillpartssearch.com was absolutely where all three circles did converge and I didn't have to lower my expectations to 'pick any two'. I ordered three new stainless steel burners for my very old grill (everyone else was selling mild steel burners) for a price that was the best. They arrived within a week. Good job, guys! Additionally, we do not guarantee parts will fit your grill if we do not have them listed under your specific model number, which is the case with the cooking grids you are returning.
I am glad that you found the heat plates of such high quality that you decided to keep them. Sometimes, if we do not yet have the exact part available for a model our customers need, we do intense research on the parts, including confirming with customers dimensions and fit for certain parts. Once we feel comfortable that a part will work in a grill, we list that replacement part. We have 3 other confirmed customers who are currently using the heat plates we list (and you ordered) on their Jennair model, 740-0712. You will be our 4th customer using that heat plate!
