"Was very frustrated with the way the online chat went. It took a very long time to get my issue (voucher now able to open) resolved. I also had to repeat my issue several times. I also received an email after my voucher trying to assist me... good thing I had already figured it out! In the end I was able to get my voucher, but it was a very frustrating process."

"I could not redeem a voucher I purchased on Groupon for an event. The event was with in hours when I realized my voucher said it had been used when the event hadn't taken place. The Groupon support team fixed the issue quickly and I was able to enjoy the event."

"so.. I live in san diego....been using groupon and was completely happy. Then one day I see a McDonalds groupon on my local feed. I purchased it for my nephew but when he went to use it, found out is is for only 13 McDonalds in Florida. it had been over the three days, so I was told I could not get a refund or credit. I was offered the option of giving it to one of my friends.....
Only thing is, they would have to drive pretty far to use it. Not happy by that lack of customer service. I expected more. Funny thing is, it is still being advertised as local at this very moment."
"Purchaed a dolphin watching coupon and we had a great time. A day before I inadvertently marked my coupon as redeemed and wrote custom service that I made a mistake. They wrote back within the hour and said no problem we will reverse it. Great customer service

"On two occasions this summer my Groupons for Windsor restaurants had expiry dates in July and August. These are typically months in which Windsor restaurants close briefly for vacations. Groupon, as a convenience to clients, should refrain from imposing expiry dates during these months, alternatively, should be more flexible in granting extensions into September. Kindly rethink current practices with a view to making things more comfortable for Groupon participants."

"Anytime I have ever had an issue with a vendor etc. Groupon was there to resolve the issue; always quickly without any hassle. A hurricane is headed my way as I type and there is a no refund policy from the hotel I booked. Groupon handled the situation and within 24 hours my account was credited. I always check Groupon for everything. Before I leave the house I log on to Groupon. So many options, excellent customer service!"
"Double billed, no live body to talk to, worse experience ever. Refunded the wrong set of tickets. I had seats on row 12, seats 1&2. But they deleted that order and left the second order with seats in a higher row, terrible seats. Without even asking me. Now they wont refund my money for their mistake. I want my money back!

"You can't trust the merchants they use, they seem to purposely make themselves IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with until your Groupon expires, and then you have to pay full price to get any use out of it. Groupon does little to address the situation, they just threw a one-day credit on my account with NO warning, when I was out of town on vacation, so it just rolled back to the voucher again. To not give users a refund for a BAD merchant is ridiculous but to not even give you a DECENT length of time to shop and use a credit just shows what a total lack of concern they have for their customers and what other things we may have going on other than spending time having to shop on Groupon. I've used them a lot in the past but they have REALLY gone downhill and will no longer get any of my business. It's just not worth it. "
"The issue was not resolved. I was asking to cancel my order due to my accidentally hit the check out button. Groupon had no verification screen before check out and no live customer service # can call. As a consumer, Groupon is not a decent & honest business we can trust anymore. "
