Only question I had left was about the $100 in store credit for having delivered. The store mentioned it. The online person I spoke to mentioned it but it was not a part of the paperwork given at delivery. So I'm waiting to see if it comes in the mail. "
"Easy online shopping experience with a fairly good selection to choose from. Online chat a helpful tool. Availability for delivery is also good. Product arrived at my home well packaged.
Only hitch - I didn't like the idea they advertise free delivery in an email to me and have 'haul away' marked off in the advertisement (indicating it's free) and then tell you there is a $15 haul away fee just instituted. (I chose to haul away myself in the end). Also, as first time sign up customer I got a promo code, but they don't indicate anywhere if you use this promo code you cannot take advantage of their present general promo code advertised on the front page of their website. Having to make calls over this was annoying. On line chat only covers product info not billing questions. If I'm buying on line I like to deal with everything on line.
But I was able to pop into the store to see some of the products on line. Again fairly good selection to be able to compare what I chose on-line. If all goes well with the billing from here I would definitely purchase again from them.

"I ordered 5 upscaling cables online and waited 2 weeks with no communication. After calling about my order i was told they were delaying my shipment and would ship from another warehouse. When i finally received the delivery i found they sent me only one of the five cables I ordered. I had to call them again and they told me there were no more available then asked me if i wanted the rest of my money refunded. Duh! Yes i do want my money back! Why didn't you bother to contact me at all? They said they are not responsible for selling items that dont exist.

The Smart tv features don't work and we have received neither a new remote or the $100 gift card that was part of the deal. The installers left their tools here and made arrangements with us to pick them up."

"I ordered a DSLR camera and was very pleased with the delivery speed. it arrived within a week, sooner than expected. However, this camera does not work without an SD memory card. hhgregg did not note this in the advertising of the item, nor ship one with the camera. It seems to me if you spend $399 on a camera, including an SD card with the shipment should be standard.
Because of this, I filled out a contact form on the hhgregg website to inquire about the SD card. The form didn't seem to be working properly; upon submit, a jumbled screen of code appeared. I attempted several times. Very frustrating, since there is no direct customer service email link on the hhgregg.com website, so no way to contact them. If the form did indeed go through, I did not receive a followup/acknowledgement email from hhgregg.
I really believe that hhgregg would be well served to increase the level of customer service, especially in a follow up to a purchase."
"I placed an order in Tallahassee, FL for my younger sister's 50th Birthday gift that lives in Jacksonville, FL. She was suppose to show the individuals in the store the order text that was sent from hhgegg with a picture ID....however, she goes in the Jacksonville store states that she is there to pickup a page. She was given the name of the person that placed the order and was not asked to show her ID. This is why I am giving a four start rating instead of the five start rating. I disappointed in this transition process. "
