Customer Service Great - product, not so much!

"Ordered product online for in store pick up. Great experience! Set of 4 cordless phones with answering machine was good price - charged for 24 hours but had to exchange because 1 phone would not charge. Second set had to also be returned as 2 would not charge? Customer service was very kind with our issues, even though in the end, we returned for full refund. Customer service passed with high marks, but not the product!"

Hello...? Where are you?

"I was unexpectedly away from home the day before delivery, so there was a call on my answering machine saying they would be coming (tomorrow) and if this was a problem, to call an 800 number. In the morning I had an email waiting, saying that if someone 18 or older would be home to receive the delivery, click here. I did, and they said something like, "You're all set!"
No one showed up. No one called.
Which reminds me - when I purchased the freezer online, they asked me to set up a delivery date. Their option was March 29, only. Since that was not good for me, I looked into April...nothing... May.... nothing... June... nothing... July.... nothing - so I left it blank. It said if there was a problem with the delivery, they would call within 24 hours. When I heard nothing for 3 days, I called them to set up this appointment. I suppose I will have to call them again, as it appears they will not call...and it's almost 7 PM - the next day!

coffee maker discontent

"I ordered two coffee makers that I have discovered are for the most part discontinued everywhere. The reason is these coffee makers (Keurig) only accept original k-cups and if you use others it breaks the machine. The rice was excellent and the reviews I read were good, until I read others the next day. I will return both coffee makers.
Also requested they be shipped to my hope and that was messed up. Shipment was to the store. I called and after 45 minutes the problem is hopefully resolved. So far, I have received one coffee maker and am waiting for the othe rto return both at the same time.

"Wow, I love the chat on the website. Fredrick was great!! He helped me find just the right washer and it came right when they said it would. The fellows who removed my old machine and installed the new one were professional and kind.
I Love, love, love my new Samsung HE washer. Quiet, fast, a myriad of choices for my laundry. Even a song when it is done!

Total Rip OFF

"I purchased an open box space saver microwave (I never buy open box) about 16 months ago. I also purchased a 5 year in home warranty for $99. A little over a week ago, when I attempted to warm food, the microwave sounded like it was about to blow up. I immediately discontinued use and called premium service plan customer service number. After telling the customer service rep. the issue she wanted to turn the microwave on for her to hear the noise. I communicated to her unless HHGregg was willing to pay for damages to my home I was not turning the microwave on. She insisted and I pushed back until she finally contacted a supervisor who directed her to forward my claim to another area to determine if they would come out or replace the item. A week went by and no communication. I called PSP to learn a credit had been issued but no one called me to communicate the information. The credit was for 124.99 the original purchase price. This would have been fine if I had not been told the Plan would cover replacement value while under warranty. What absolutely makes no since is "Why would I pay $99 for a five year plan if all they were going to credit me is the $124.00. What's worse now that they have issued a credit the plan is voided. What was the purpose of a $99 plan for a $125 item. A fifth grader would not have taken that deal. All of the customer service reps were not concerned and was very short with me. I requested a supervisor and was told no supervisors were available they would call me back in 24-48 hours. I want hold my breath waiting for that call. After the use of this store credit for $124.99 I will never shop with HH Greg again. I don't like the dishonesty and lack of respect the associates have for their customers. "
