"I ordered shirts that were purchased from Haband for my husband who runs an office, and has to dress the "part" daily.
This buy (I use this term here loosely) is the worst waste of money that I have ever spent. What a rip off.
I too wished that I had read the reviews here first.

I always wash everything I buy before wearing, so the (3) 2XL shirts were washed first. Well, they will now fit a man that is a medium size not a 2xl as my husband is. Furthermore, the shirts are supposed to be 60% cotton & 40 % polyester - which should not shrink.
Before ordering, I checked to make sure they were not 100 % cotton and would shrink.

The three shirts which were never worn, and worth $39.00 plus shipping did. I guess you do get what you pay for. The rest of the $90.95 order looks cheap, but at least they fit after washing. The next thing is to get my husband to wear the ones that did not shrink....

"I recently purchased the two sets of sheets from Haband for a total of $47.00 and change. I have now washed them three times to try to get the gas smell out of them and the third time--before I have even used them-- all of the sewing on the top of the sheets is coming out. I have thrown away all of may packages because they did fit the bed and am sorry I did or they would definitely be on their way back to haband. I am extremely dissatified with this product and I will probably never order from this company again. I could have bought sheets here in town for a lesser price after taking off the shipping and had a much better product. I know you get what you pay for--but this is a very poor product and should not be sold by anyone. So sorry I let the price lure me into a product of such poor quality."

"I ordered a bathrobe from this vendor two weeks ago. My package arrived today, and the color is not the one I ordered. According to the F.A.Q. page on their website (the link to "Customer Service" is broken,) it will cost me a flat fee of $6.99 to send the package back. The original item cost $12.98 with free shipping, so a return or exchange is worth neither my time or money. Lame. Even Buy.com will pay for return shipping."

"Beyond dissatisfied. On line, ordered 2 shirts. They priced them wrong but did correct when I protested. The mailed order/merchandise forms said that a Shop-Pro 22 pc. precision tool set would be included, free, with ANY (their capitalization), order from that mailing. Also included, free, was a zippered wallet.
When I asked where the tool set was (not listed on online invoice), was told, "... we are unable to change the free gift that was applied to your order because your order is ticketed and being processed for shipment." Then, later after many email exchanges, "Please note that we can only apply one free gift per online order. " This was not stated in the mailings. Suggested they live up to their advertising and mail the tool set. Still awaiting their response. If they deny shipping the tool set, will return the shirts and never buy from them again. Doesn't look as if one can trust what they say in their mailings.

Tool set never received; order returned. Will not order again from them, and will encourage my husband and others not to, either.

"I have ordered from Haband for the past two years. They have nice products at reasonable prices. Not the best, but you get what you pay for. Have ordered pants through them because I can get them in the lengths that fit me perfectly. One of the pants I ordered fit tightly. I followed the return policy included with the order and received the correct size within two weeks. Ordered three shirts just this month and they fit tightly around my waist. Again, I followed the return directions included with the order and was promptly refunded the following week. So far, I have NO complaints about this company."

"I had been ordering clothing from Haband since around 1980 and had been satisfied most of the time. Every so often I would receive the wrong merchandise, but that would get resolved without too much fuss.

However, my recent experiences with Haband last month may have soured my relation with them. I placed an order by mail around July 30 and an on-line order around August 5. I have not (as of September 8) received the merchandise for either, but Haband charged my MasterCard on August 7 and 8 for the orders. I just send them my THIRD email message. The reply to my first message on August 17 was that "my order was shipped on August 13 and I should await 6 to 8 business days". They did not reply to my second message sent August 27.

Until this is resolved, I am very dissatisfied with Haband.

"I like the fact that Haband offers short mens sizes and 3xxx shoes. And I like some of the products. I have placed 3 orders with them and all orders took excessive time to get here! It takes 4 days just to ship a in stock order! Then another 8 to 16 days or even a month, to recieve them. They ship things Third Class Mail. They sent me a wrong size and it has been over 30 days and nop credit as of yet. I will never order from Haband again! I suggest that you be wiser than I was and order from the other many more considerate companies on the web. They have gotten my last order! cpbesteman"

"I saw a deal from SlickDeals.net, and people sad beware of Haband.net. Well, I went ahead and purchased a couple of money counting jars exactly 3 weeks ago, thinking it would be here in time. Instead, last Friday, I receive an email stating that I have been credited the amount back to me. I inquired why, and they said that the item was sold out. I know that I was one of the first orders in line, ordering way before other people on this forum, but mine was canceled and other people have had theirs for over a week. Also, the other item I ordered at the same time ahs yet to ship. What is the deal with these people?"

"going along with previous reviews, the company did not follow through with a delivery. the order was placed 05.17.07 and by 06.07.07, the package was not received. when i contacted customer service, via email, they told me that by law, they have to wait 30 days to give the usps time to deliver. i waited until 06.20.07, and still no package. i decided to call my usps and see if they had any recollection of a package from haband.net. there was no recollection.

since then, i've had 6 emails sent to request a refund. each response i get states that when they receive the package, they will start the process of refunding the order. well, it took an additional 2 emails to straighten them out and explain that the package was NEVER RECEIVED. now, i stand to wait 3 additional business days to get my money back and 3 months to be taken off of their mailing list.

not so great first impression of haband.net. you can bet that i won't shop there ever again.

"My first purchase with Haband went well. I purchased some flat fold colanders. The product is as advertised a colander that folds.

I researched the product and am ok with the minor problem of food getting stuck in the hinges.

Other than that, the item arrived on time and in good condition. I would buy from haband again, but only after researching the item.

"There customer service is non existent. the phone # gives you a run-a-round no matter what button you push.
The person that took my order did not take it properly and I got the wrong size. Now they want me to Pay the shipping back to the warehouse.
I will never buy anything from this Co. again.
I feel it was there mistake not mine and they should pay for the returned merchandise.

"I ordered a heater from this company on March 6, 2006. I paid extra to get it sent to me quickly.
They sent me an email on March 10, 2006 saying that my heater was sent by Fed Ex on March 8, 2006. As of today, March 24th, 2006, I still have not received my purchase. I have sent 3 emails to the service department. Their website says that they will get back to you in 1 to 2 buisness days. This did not happen. When you call their customer service number, which is an 800 number, all you are able to do is enter your order number and zip code. A recording then tells you if your order has been shipped or not. If you need more information about your order you have to call another number that is not a toll free call. I made two of these long distance calls trying to find out what was going on with my order. The first representative said she was going to put a tracking call in on the package. When I called again three days later, I spoke to another representative and informed her that a tracking call was supposed to have been placed, and she informed me that there was no record of my call requesting one. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with the service I received from this company.

"I ORDERED 6 SHIRTS THE BEGINNING OF FEBRUARY FOR MY HUSBAND'S COMPANY TO BE EMBRIODERED WITH THEIR LOGO. HABAND WAS OFFERING JUST THE STYLE SHIRT WANTED @ 3 FOR $29.95 + FREE SHIPPING AND A FREE GIFT. 5 SHIRTS WERE SHIPPED WITH A NOTATION THE REST OF THE ORDER WOULD FOLLOW. AFTER MANY COMMUNICATIONS INQUIRING ABOUT THE SIXTH SHIRT, HABAND CLAIMS ONLY 5 SHIRTS WERE ORDERED AND THEY WERE NOT OFFERING FREE SHIPPING. NOW THEY ARE E-MAILING ME WITH THERE FREE SHIPPING OFFER, AGAIN. I DON'T THINK I'LL BE STUPIT ENOUGHT TO FALL FOR THIS STORY TWICE. BESIDES, THE SHIRTS ARE LOOKING SHABBY AFTER 2 WASHINGS. "Actually, the point is that I did NOT place this order. I am not sure which date the unknown person ordered the goods, but they were charged to my credit card in early January.

Haband sent me an order meant for someone else. I paid to send it back. Even though my name and address and the name and address of the person they said ordered it did not match, it took several emails before their customer service would even entertain the thought that they might have made a mistake. They charged this wrong order to my credit card (I have done business with them before without a problem), but dismissed that promptly as impossibe without offering to look into it. Only when they learned that my credit card company was about to contact them, and the package they had said I did not receive arrived back at Haband with my letter inside it, did they offer to remove MOST of the charge from my credit card. However, they were not going to refund the shipping charges they spent sending someone else's things to me, so I had to contact them again about that. That has now been done, but they have not yet mentioned reimbursing me the $11 I spent out of my own pocket to send the mis-directed package back to them, even though I have mentioned this expense to them more than once. This has been a very frustrating experience, and I will NOT be ordering from Haband again for fear that they will make a mistake with an order I really did place. I am considering getting a new credit card number so they can't use me to pay for another customer's order again. I'll definitely have to if they pull this stunt again.

Before you make your decision whether to buy from Haband, do two things:

1. Type "Haband" and "review" in your search engine's
browser/search box.
2. Visit the online BBB site for New Jersey, their home
state.


UPDATE: Today (2-3) Haband emailed me that if I want any
money to replace what I sent returning their
package, I will have to provide proof of what it
cost. The package was quite heavy, plus I definitely
wanted proof of receipt, but $11 apparently seems
too high to them. Apparently they think the post
office delivers for free, as they did not even offer
to send me what THEY felt it should have cost.
After I proved to them that they created this entire
fiasco entirely on their own and I sent, at my own
expense, their goods back to them in good faith,
they either feel that I am too goofy to know what
my own postage was, or that I would be less than
honest with them about the amount.
