"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! I ordered two external batteries for my iPhone. HHI sent one that was correct and one that didn't even match the other one and would not work. Even though it was their mistake they wanted me to pay to ship it back for a replacement. This is an unethical company and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well."

"HandHeldItems provided a great online shopping experience. I order the product late Friday, it shipped Tuesday, and I had it on Thursday. Email notifications were sent for every step in the process. I cannot comment on other aspects of customer service because the item was received in good condition so I had no reason to contact anyone. I will order from them in the future."

"I ordered 3 extended batteries for the HTC Hero for my family. I installed one of them on my phone and it started locking up and not working properly. I removed and reinstalled my old one and everything worked fine. I once again tried it and the same happened. I also tried it on one of my kids and it did the same thing. The next day I phoned(customer service always busy) and emailed the company twice(never heard back) so I called the sales department and left a message that I would be contacting my credit card company.
I would think twice about ordering from them.
Lousy customer service.

"HandHeld Items is an AWFUL company with HORRIBLE customer service! Ordered my phone case almost a month ago. Left several messages and even an email through paypal. I never received a response. Tried to track it, however the tracking number didn't work. I finally got ahold of a customer suervise rep. and she said it got lost and can reship. She said it would arrive by the beginning of the week....its now Friday and I called last Wednesday. And AGAIN the tracking number doesn't work! I understand items can get lost (once), and I don't hold companies responsible for that, however my frustration is the inability to reach anyone and their lack of care for customers to give a call back. They truly run a BAD BUSINESS."

"I purchased a hardshell case for my new Blackberry Bold 9700 (Tmobile) from Handhelditems.com

I paid extra to have it sent express and was pleased when it arrived early. However, once I opened it (it was sealed in plastic packaging) the case was dirty and covered in many scratches. It looked as though someone had already been using it for a year, then packaged it back up and sent it to me.

I didn't bother to return it because I'd rather be out the $10 that I already paid, than another $10 on top of that just to send it back.

"Horrible Experience, I am a 70 yr old Senior Citizen. I purchased several item from this company. I was disappointed to find the HHI Clear Screen Protectors are defective, they have to many cut outs on the front and when Installed it looks terrible. I Emailed, sent Pictures... and have since found their own pictures and advertising show the production defect.. Had I known this I would have never installed the Screen .
Keri told me since I had installed it they would not replace it.. they should look at the page where they show a picture of it, the defect is in your face.. it shows the defect clearly, so for $4.25 they are going to lose a lot of business and customers.. I guess business is BOOMING and old fashion customer service is dead...what a shame.....

"I ordered a new iPod USB Cable with Dock Connector and an iPod nano 5th generation flip case holder/protector. The USB Cable is perfect--works great, just like the original, which I had lost. The flip case is good but not great. It will serve the purpose I bought it for, but it looks a little on the cheap side and holds the nano just a little crooked in the case. Not bad enough that I would go through the expense of returning it--as I said, it will serve the purpose and it didn't cost all that much. Both items were delivered promptly. I don't have too much to complain about. "

"HandHelditems seems to not care whether their customers receive the ordered and purchased products. I placed an order on the 13th ... the order arrived in Chicago on the 16th. It is now the 28th and there is no sign of the package. And HandHelditems refuses to take any action.

I suppose this could be bad luck, but one thing is for certain: the company needs to train their customer service a bit as well as work on their delivery methods and policies.
