"This company conducts enticing advertising, however little attention or resources are devoted to customer service. Recently company took 21 days to delivery an order. When order had to be returned due to problem, company never acknowledged receipt of it. Additionally, no information concerning the order was posted on company’s website, and it was virtually impossible to reach anyone by phone due to interminable hold time. My email communications resulted in responsiveness by company, but also false claims of reimbursement. A refund was finally issued to my credit card a month after delivery of the return. --This company uses COVID-19 precautions as reason for delays and poor service. However, I think something more serious is going on. My recommendation is to stay away from Hanes.com."
"Ordered sweatshirts and wanted to change size within a few hours . Called and was told no. I had to make a the change within one hour of placing the order. The order will take at least 6-10 business days yet you can’t cancel or change order after an hour . Does this make good business sense ? NO fire their management team . They do not belong to be in business !!!!!! They take your order but say nothing about their order policy . Terrible , terrible customer service . Order elsewhere somewhere that understands how the world operates . Beware "
"Another once great company down the tubes! I ordered 10 of their beefy t-shirts in a size 3X. Only 2 were true to size (as compared to previous purchase from years back,) 5 were maybe a 2.5X, and 3 aren't even a 2X (all are labelled as 3X.) As I wasn't expecting a problem based on past experience, I didn't keep the invoice or mailer so I couldn't return the shirts. I've tried contacting customer service and have gotten NO RESPONSE! This company will not be in business much longer. You can tell when a business is floundering when they don't even reply to customers."
"Wrong size delivered. I tried to call customer service, but placed on hold indefinately. Finally they said to find my own packaging and return the item and they would charge me for the return postage and I have to wait 6-8 weeks for a refund. Are these guys serious? Whoever is running that company should be fired. They are 20 years behind the industry, it’s a miracle they are still in business at all. "

"Hanes.com has some great pricing on items that cost a lot elsewhere, but that said, their order fulfillment/shipping leaves a whole lot to be desired. People are used to fairly fast turnaround times when shopping online and good communication if/when an ordered item is out of stock. Hanes offers neither. Typically, an order takes about three weeks from start to finish (ordering/arrival...last order I placed was on 3/3, items shipped out on 3/17 and arrived on 3/23) and there is zero communication on out of stock items. In fact, the last order I placed was held because one item was out of stock. Good policy is to send the available items, then contact the customer to see if they wish to wait or cancel (I finally canceled but I see on my old order status, it still says "in process" even though my credit card was refunded). Hanes.com is going to have to step up their game if they don't want to continue to bleed revenue to other online retailers or brick and mortar discount stores."
"Place a order for a Champion hoody and sweatpants. My package wasn’t delivered until eight days later. When I opened the package it was not even close to what I ordered. Wrong brand, wrong gender, wrong size, and wrong color. I called customer service. I told them I wanted to return the items for a full refund.
To my surprise the service rep told me that I would receive a full refund and to keep the merchandise , because it would cost me to return the items. She even told me to donate the items to charity and not to throw them away. A week later no refund.
I called Hanes customer service and found there was no record of my previous phone conversation with the customer service rep. No info pertaining my refund. I told the service rep about my previous conversation with the other rep. She said very rudely she shouldn’t have told you that. That’s not what we do. That I should have known to look on the bottom of the package for a return shipment slip. That I had to return the items back to Haynes to get a full refund. Mind you I gave the hoody to my sister. The sweatpants were in the laundry and I no longer had the original package. I completely lost it and asked to speak with her supervisor. She puts me on hold. Them comes back on the line and says you’ll get your refund in 3 days. I angrily hung up and call right back to get her nane. I told the customer service rep who btw was a very nice my story and once again there was no record of a refund. This rep was kind enough to put my refund in. I received a full refund on in like 2 mins on my PayPal account. I will never never ever ever never shop online with hanes again. "
"Ordered something very simple. Took 3 days to process and another 7 to ship and arrive! Are you kidding me??? On the morning of third day when it had not shipped yet, I was told I could not cancel it! Really?? They can't process it but somehow I have to pay to return it?!?

"I ordered from this site for the first time January 8, 2018, returned them January 10, 2018. I still have not received the credit to my account! The tracking shows it as still in process! Shipping charges are high and you have to pay return shipping also. I know we get spoiled with Amazon Prime, but I will no longer shop at Hanes. I have now found many of the same items on Amazon, guess I should have checked there first."
