"We ordered some pants on December 23rd, 2017 and received absolutely no communication from Hanes. When I called to check on the status of the order (02/02/2018), I was informed that the order was canceled and an email was sent. I just checked my spam folder and what do you know - no email whatsoever. Stay away from Hanes, Champion, College Apparel, Just My Size, and Onehanesplace."
"Ordered on Jan 12, 2018. On Jan 22, still no product here or on the way. Sent an email and they said it would be here on Jan 26. It is now the 28th and still nothing. If I ordered the same thing on Amazon it would have cost $2.00 more, but it would have been here in two days. Now supposedly half my order is on the way, but the other half is on backorder. Sent another email asking them to cancel my order, but they said they could not. Told them to cancel the half that has not been shipped, but they said no, it would have to ship when in stock and I would have to return it.

"I have been dealing with this situation for about a month now. I ordered two sweaters from them and only received one in the mail, my bank statement had minus 97$ from my account. When I had cancelled the order from the 2nd sweater I didn’t receive the lady told me it would take 15 days for my money to go back in my account (48$) it has been 16 days AND NOTHING. I called again and the lady was being super rude saying “we don’t charge unless the item has shipped” but it clearly says that 97$ was taken from my account. At this point I feel as if they don’t know what excuse to make up. I know that 48$ isn’t much but I feel violated, this isn’t fair at all!"
"I had to cancel an order as the order confirmation took almost TWO WEEKS to send - not the tracking confirmation, the confirmation of my order which normally takes a few minutes, and so I looked elsewhere. I cancelled the order from Hanes, and thinking that they would have done what any half decent company would and cancelled it - low and behold, a month later, it turns up on my doorstep, leaving me with the shipping costs to return it to the US from Europe. I am disgusted. "
"The wait times for phone calls are over 45 minutes. The service is good once I get someone on the phone but if they are that busy to where customers are waiting that long for an answer they should hire more people."
"The FREE shipping is a joke! It may not cost you a thing, EXCEPT for not getting your purchased items on time. Sending the items through the USPS was a nightmare. I was originally trying to buy the items through Champion but their site forwarded me to Hanes. This is much too slow and much too ignoring for customers. Would NOT recommend to anyone. "I've ordered twice from the champion website, for some reason they send extremely late updates on my order. First time I forgot I even ordered a shirt as they never provided an email or status update. My second order was purchased on the 12 of November, Its almost December and I have gotten NO update, just a 'back ordered' line on my receipt. I don't know what they do in their shipping warehouse, but I truly believe tying my order to the shell of a tortoise and giving it directions to my house would be a more effective way of shipping. They need to figure out their ****."

"I placed an order on 8/31/17 when they were having a free shipping/free item special. On 9/6/17 I received an email saying my item was backordered. 3 more weeks go by with no update. I contacted Hanes on 9/28/17 only to be told my order somehow went into limbo during their computer system change over. They recommended that I cancel the first order and place a new order for the same item since it's now showing as available. I did so. On 9/29/17 I receive an email saying my "canceled" order has now been shipped (since received) and my "second" order is pending. I've tried several times to cancel the second order only to be told that because it's now "in process" nothing can be done. On 10/11/17 I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor only to be told that they're were ALL in a meeting. I was sent to the voice mail of Wilton D. where I left a message asking to be called back. Still waiting...
Received the second order on 10/20/17, but I refused delivery. It was returned to Hanes on 10/23/17. I wonder how long I'll have to wait for my refund?
Received my refund on 11/11/17, but for the wrong amount. Had to call again today to try and get it straightened out. We'll see...."
"I bought a thermal set. The color was not the one shown on their web, not even closer. I added a review and they did not published (it did not meet their standard...) because it was not positive although was not rude neither. I called them and i asked to return the product. I was told i had to pay for the return....
If the block the comments that they are not positive, their web reviews are trustful or realistic, are they? . I'm not happy that I do have to pay also the return...sorry but bad post-sales...."
"Ordered 14 hoodies, after more than 2 weeks received 2 hoodies in 2 different shipments. 8 are "En Route" but lost between DHL and USPS. Customer Service only offered to refund the money, to to expedite the process. The response was, "we have nothing to do with the shipping". "
