After 4 emails each they finally said they only sell cases to retailers something they could have told 4 emails and a week ago. I asked another question that they just ignored."

"Only in Outer Space - IF there is life in outer space - would a "body tone" be magenta, or bright blue, or soft blue. I ordered a 6-pack of cotton briefs and chose the "body tone" option.
I got ****/beige (yes!), rose (acceptable MAYBE if one were sunburned), light blue (what??), dark blue (what??), magenta (what??), and jet black (still way darker than any African Americans I know....). I wrote to customer service and got a very rude response along the lines that "mixed" packages are colors they have no control over. O.K. I agree - "mixed" is "mixed"....but I ordered BODY tones....not "mixed".
So, I went to package them for a return with the pre-paid label they provided--- and glad I read the small print! - they deduct $6.95 from your refund for the shipping charge. I only paid $8 for the briefs (great sale price, I thought). Hardly worth the effort to return by mail.
UNBELIEVABLE. Their "100% guarantee" seems to be accepted ONLY IN OUTER SPACE. The closest Hanes outlet is just over 19 miles away from my house.
Grrrrrrrr.Hanes.com has lost a customer - but, they've gained thousands of dollars worth of NEGATIVE advertising....as I'm a big "talker" amongst my friends and business associates."
"I ordered 2 of these on January 11. My daughter need them for a class in late January. We were to receive them on or about January 21. Only ONE pair arrived. My daughter didn't tell me that only one pair had arrived until Feb. 5. I called their 800 number and was told that the other pair wouldn't ship until AFTER MARCH 5TH!! I ask to make some changes and was told to call back Monday.
I called customer service today. They told me the other pair was on back order. When I asked why they had not contacted me about it she said that they don't send out an email until order is more than THIRTY DAYS LATE they don't bother to contact customers. How's that for customer service?!?!
I asked if I could change the order to a color that wasn't on back order. Customer service told "Nope!" There is NOTHING THAT THEY WILL DO TO MAKE IT RIGHT! Not even an apology.
They also ALREADY CHARGED ME THE TAX FOR THE PANTS THAT WON'T SHIP UNTIL MARCH 5TH! So if I want to cancel the order, I need to apply for a refund on the taxes they charged me for pants that won't ship for ANOTHER MONTH!
This is the most appalling "customer service" that I've ever received from any company. They clearly don't give a damn about customer satisfaction. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! "
"SO, I got an offer for an after Christmas clearance of Hanes Christmas sweatshirts. Looked good. $3.99 to $4.99, what's to lose?
I bought 2 mens for my hubby, (marked as backordered but would ship Jan 30) and, since I was there, ordered one for me and a girl's small for my young granddaughter.
The ones for my and my granddaughter shipped quickly, but what I received was the one I had ordered for ME and a men's small, not the girl's small I had ordered. So I called Hanes.
"Did you have a return label in your order?" "Yes, but I want to get the item I ordered and paid for before I even think about a return" "oh, OK. I will reorder that one and have it delivered to my desk so I make sure it is correct before it goes out again" "OK, sounds good" "And you don't need to return the other one - just give it to someone" "OK, I have no one who wears a men's small, but I will do something with it"
I about a week, I DID receive the correct sweatshirt, with an invoice showing the two men's would ship the week of January 30. Two days later, I receive an email update that the order has been cancelled. "
"Hanes did not even ship item until 6 days after I placed the order and called them, and then it took another 5 days to be delivered with no status update. The entire time I thought the package was lost. With today's shipping, this is not acceptable and I will not shop here again."

"I am beyond frustrated with this company, ESPECIALLY THE WEBSITE. I ordered Sunday a work out top and bottom from Just My Size Hanes affiliate. Got the confirmation email (with no number??) A few hours after I submitted the order. Got an order status update hours after that, nothing said in the email but a link to check. I was unable to login, requested a password reset more than 10 times throughout Monday and Tuesday. Never once was I sent a response email. Tuesday I called the number (because that's obviously the only way to get an answer?) Turns out I "checked out as a guest" so I cannot check my order - when I specifically remember putting in a password. They used a different email than I put in and had my billing address to an old address never affiliated with the card I used. The customer service lady read the past address to me and then the Internet department lady said they did not have that address. What??? How can the email day you do, one lady READ IT TO ME, and then suddenly you don't have record of that address?! I was charged on Monday for the order meaning it's already been shipped. In the email it says cannot give tracking # for standard shipping with USPS (when every other online company can??). Then the lady on the phone gives me the tracking number. Wtf? "It may take a couple days to show something on the USPS website. It'll take like 7-10 days to arrive". Uh okay that doesn't sound fishy. USPS is usually very good keeping updated on the package. I typed in the tracking # she gave me and no record of it, when it's been a day since it supposedly shipped. Okay? All I can say this company is worthless and a SCAM. If I ever get the order, it's going straight back for a refund. What a joke!! "
"This people do not know what they are doing when the are shipping things. The do not provide a tracking #, If they cancel one order you don't get notify for it. you just have to wait and they pay double for shipping... BS "
"I went into the Hanes outlet in the Fairfield Outlet mall. I stood at the counter with a sales clerk looking at me for a full five minutes. When she finally deemed it necessary to assist me, as I guess she figured I wasn't going to go away, she did NOT apologize for my wait. I specifically asked her to ensure the sensors were taken from my clothes, not all sensors were removed.
I had to make a second trip to this store to have a sensor removed. The same clerk was behind the register but did not offer to assist me. A sales clerk came from the back of the store and said, "A return?" I replied, "NO ma'am I would like the sensor removed."
No apology, just a do you want a bag?
The reason for this treatment? I am a police officer, in uniform. I put my life on the line for my community. I am only sorry I have spent my hard earned money in this store that pays their salary, not a mistake I will choose to make again.
In my line of work, I understand the importance of customer service. Obviously customer service is not important in this store."
"I ordered three of a particular product (same size, color, etc). A month later I received an "update to my order" which made no sense so I called as it didn't actually say anything. The Customer Service rep said that she didn't know why but looked it up and said that the order had been cancelled. Thinking that the product was no longer available, she checked and found that it WAS still available.
She told me she could not fix the cancellation, but I could go out and order again.
When I went to Hanes.com, I found that the product was still there but the price had been raised by $10, which meant that for me to re-order, I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO SPEND $30 MORE THAN ON MY ORIGINAL ORDER.
Obviously they raised the product price, didn't want to honor any product they had already sold at the lower price, so they cancelled my order and then invited me to come back and buy it at the higher price. WHAT A SCAM!!!!
Then nearly a month later I received a postcard in the mail with the cancellation information on it.
I won't make that mistake again. I'm not shopping at Hanes.com EVER AGAIN.
Now if I could just get them to stop sending me email advertisements. Their opt-out system does nothing."
"Ordered one bra for a full size woman 10 a.m. Money did not get pulled by 4 p.m. Decided to cancel order was told by the first person that it was going to be impossible spoke to supervisor who reassured me that my order was canceled and that my bank account would not be hit for any order the following day received an email stating that my order was shipped contacted them via phone once again to be told that I now have to refuse the package so that it will be sent back to them and which point they will refund me this is a bad business practice and I suggest to all persons who read this avoid dealing with this company."
