"Customer service from Healthy Back is a joke. Inquired about tracking number, no reply. Quality of item is extremely poor, the same thing can be purchased at CVS for about 20.00, Healthy Back charged 48.00. I called customer service to return item and was told that for hygiene purposes they could not except the return. ( Though somehow they'll take mattresses back ). The rep transferred me to the "supervisor", I left a message and never heard back. "

"Product arrived promptly and well packaged. Unfortunately the product is made as cheaply as possible. The pump that came with the mat didn't fit. I threw it away. It was more like a cheaply made toy than anything. Fortunately I have a pump that does fit. I inflated the mat and within 10 minutes all the caps to the plugs opened while I was laying in it and the whole thing deflated. It is a great idea but sadly it is as cheaply made as possible. How much more could it cost to put a decent plug on the mat? Great concept though. I was really hoping this would be a great product. I almost ordered 2 of them but decided to wait and see. Glad I only got 1."

I ordered a jade far-infrared healing pad for $210 on 11/21 and received an email dated 11/25 only confirming my order. I waited two weeks longer and still had not gotten the product delivered, let alone an email confirming it was shipped. I checked my bank, and Healthy Back had charged me the full $210 on 11/25. I then called to find out where my order was and was told the manufacturer is very slow in filling oders, put on hold, then told they did not even have a tracking number from the factory yet! I am an accountant, and first of all, a business cannot bill a customer for a product they do NOT have in stock, let alone have not prepared to ship. They tried to tell me it was not a problem, but could not tell me when if ever I would get my product. Rather than argue more about how a company cannot use the customer's money to stock their shelves, I asked for a refund, and they said they would do this. However, I am very annoyed at their dishonesty, as I am disabled and have a lot of pain and spent weeks waiting for NOTHING, while my bank card was charged $210.
I did call my bank and they said I was absolutely correct and if they do not refund me within the 3-5 day time frame it takes to get an electronic refund, they would cover the loss and pursue the matter with Healthy Back. I am sure they may have other items in stock and deliver as they should, but I would never do business with them again, as they were completely dishonest on their website about the item I ordered not being in stock and there would be a wait up to two months to get it!
UPDATE: 12/5/14 - After requesting a cancellation of my order and a refund, healtyback.com somehow magically located the product I ordered and rushed a delivery to me, which I received today. "
