"Helzberg is great. They have wonderful and caring people working for them. That wasn't the problem. My husband and I have shopped at Helzberg's for over 30 years. The quality of the items used to be great. Now it's hard to find a diamond piece that's better than H color I2 clarity. It's unbelievable that they're selling items for thousands that are set in 10 kt gold. If we're going to invest in a nice piece of jewelry there's no way we would spend that kind of money on low quality pieces. We do realize the cost of gold is very high. But they're losing customers because of the very high prices for low quality jewelry. This is really a shame. When I used to receive a Helzberg bag from my husband at Christmas, anniversaries and birthday's I knew I was going to receive something that was beautiful and high quality. We thought we would give them another try and that's why we ordered two rings. We sent them back because of the low quality."

But, he said that the salesman was excellent and so helpful, they had to order my band, because it was a 6mm band, then order mounting, and then he got to pick the diamond. He said, that he loved the whole process. It made the ring even more special, since he had a say in every step of having it made. But, in the process he forget to have it engraved. So, we have to go back and see how much it will cost for them to do it, and how long it will take or could we take it to a Helsberg down here? Overall, he had a wonderful experience."

The experience would had been better if the coupon promised could have been used. I applied for the first time buyer email and coupon but was not allowed to use tbe $25 coupon for a $700 purchase! Seems chintzy. Did not state this prior signing up or I wouldn't have waste time to sign up and having extra junk email."
