"We needed to get one picture printed to a 11 x 14, asap. We sent it off to the lab, but we were told it will come in 3-5 days usually. The worker (Laurie) was super helpful and helped us get it printed even faster. They were all very nice1"
"I ordered a Sigma 105 f1.4 for my Nikon. Gave the make and model to the sales manager. He told me he would order it in which would take 3 days and it would then ship out. I got an email a few days later which was frustrating enough and the lens he had ordered me was for a CANON, not my NIKON. I called immediately and he assured me this was just a typo and the NIKON version would be shipping out that night and I would receive a tracking number that same day. A few days go by and still no email or updates or tracking. I called again and a new employee tells me in fact they did order the wrong lens and they had to order in the correct Nikon version with no time frame on when it would arrive and ship out. The customer service on the phone was rude and no apologies were made to me. I will never be buying from this joke of a store again. "
"I purchased an item online on December 27. I didn't receive a confirmation email, so I wasn't sure if the transaction had gone through, but I could see the credit card transaction in my online banking account.
I received an order confirmation email on January 3, but never received a shipping confirmation email.
I emailed their customer support on January 7 inquiring about a timeline for shipping the item, but got no reply.
I called them today (January 10) and the guy I spoke to told me they were processing a large volume of orders and they hadn't got to my email yet. He took my order number and said that the item I'd ordered wasn't in stock when I placed the order (so why was it available to order on your website...?) and that they were due to get more in stock in the third week of January. I just cancelled the order as I need the item before that.
The item I ordered is still listed on their website as "in stock at one of our stores."
Shockingly poor service. I won't be shopping with them again."
"Chose Henry‘s over competitors because they offered expedited shipping. My old camera broke a week before going on holidays. I paid extra, so I would receive my camera within the advertised 2-3 business days. It took them 3 days to deliver it to Purolator. I emailed Henry‘s asking how they could advertise 3 day shipping if that was the time it takes them to get items out of the door. I also asked about a possible return if the camera arrived late. Never heard back from Henry’s customer service. The camera took a total of 10 days to arrive, about the time free shipping is supposed to take if you trust the website. Reading other reviews I am not surprised. This was my last time shopping with Henry‘s!"

Bought a camera from the store with a student's discount that is offered by the mfgr. Henry's misrepresented the discount at half of what the manufacturer offered. They also refused to include the micro sd card that the manufacturer offers but after telling me to come into the store to get it after I presented the web page clearly outlining the offer. The 4th trip. Having just had foot surgery, these trips are no small deal. The also left me standing for an hour and a half hour on both occasions.
I try to purchase from bricks and mortar stores when I can to support local retail but this kind of behaviour is exactly why Canadian retailers are going down the toilet. I would have been way ahead of the game to purchase direct from the mfgr. I have given the CEO a chance to respond prior to posting but it seems this lack of concern for customers goes all the way to the top.
Henry's do not belong in the retail business!!! Shop somewhere else!!!"
"I ordered a canon 100-400 is l ii from the web was confirmed and charged for it only to have them email me 3 days later and tell me it's no longer available. This tactic seems pretty common with henrys, so much so I'm considering legal action at this point. There are laws in Canada which are relevant to their practices (Competition Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-34). The customer service reps name is Simon, reading other reviews people have had the exact same issue and have had to deal with this same service rep. they have know issues with their system dating back at least 4 years and have not addressed them.
EDIT* 5 additional days later and they still haven't gotten back to me. I'll continue to update this. It seems as though I will have to get Visa to reverse any charges. DO NOT SHOP AT HENRYS. Its unfortunate, brick and mortar stores complain about amazon taking away their business, this is why. I have more consistent and better service dealing with sellers in China over ali express in a second language.
Their response times aren't reasonable. I also know they have the lens in various stores. Compete nonsense."
"I ordered a used D750 off the website and the order was confirmed but i never received an email saying the item has been shipped. I have called customer service several times and left a voice message and never received a callback. I have emailed and they respond back two to three days in between each message. from my understanding, they didn't pull the camera off the shelf after i purchased it and sold it to another customer. They agreed to give me a discount on another camera and i responded back to the email. It's been three days now and still haven't had a response back. Contacted the local store manager and she said she was going to deal with it and call me back today and she hasn't. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! "

"I was looking at a spectrometer that was available for less through a Canadian branch of an American reseller. I would have preferred to support Henry's and contacted them about their price match claim. Immediately, before even knowing what listing or product I was asking about the staff seemed incensed that I was even asking. Once we sorted it. The reseller is not an "authorized reseller" and so Henry's "can't" reduce their price. Of course, "won't" reduce their price is more accurate. I get that they need to make a profit and may not always be able to beat a price. But given the impatient and indifferent customer support I doubt I'll ever give them a second thought again. Rude is rude."
"On January 14th 2018 I visited Henry's Camera Store on 119 Church Street Toronto, ON to purchase a Canon EOS 7D. The customer service rep who was extremely professional and helpful assisted me in making the best selection for my money. Not only do I highly recommend Henry's Camera Store but I will most certainly pay them a visit for my next gear purchase. A+"
