Defective item - customer pays return shipping - that's not fair

"Not Andra's fault. I ordered an item and it is defective and in order to get a replacement i have to pay shipping of the defective item back. The item was only around $20 and the return shipping is around $8. "

Best Bra Experience ever!

"Herroom is so easy to work with. The best thing they do is the universal cup size, so you know exactly which size to get even though it varies from brand to brand. The fit notes also give great feedback on particular bras and what size you should get, and they will tell you what to expect shape wise. Then, if you don't end up liking the bra you can return it now problem, just make sure you do it in a timely manner. I have bought 100% of my bras from Herroom.com for years because their selection, advice and sizing expertise are better than anything I've ever experienced. "

No returns

"Just to say, I will never shop at HerRoom again. In the past I’ve purchased a lot, but never had to return. The one time I had to return some thing her room made me pay for the return, and eventually, many many weeks later, credited me the small amount left. This time I purchased four pairs of expensive thigh, high Berkshire stockings. I know how to wear stockings. I’m a grown-up. These, I opened the pack, and before I even got the first one over my ankle, there was a tear. So I took the second one and by the time I pulled it up to my thigh. There was another tear. I checked the size, and indeed they should’ve been my size . I had to go out that night, and I was packing to leave town so I had to bring what I had. I tried the second stocking of the second pair, and that Too had a run. And then I tried another and that too ripped. Ridiculous and expensive. I went online to see their return policy, got the return label wrote a note, saying that these stockings were never even worn, and ran within the first seconds of me putting them on. I received an email back from HerRoom telling me they would inspect the item, and if they determined, they could refund the item they would otherwise they would donate it. Not sure how they would donate for run stockings brand new, but torn. And no Customer Service other than this, I just figured they wouldn’t refund it. A couple weeks later they sent an email saying indeed no refund. I don’t know if the quality of Berkshire stockings has changed. In my opinion it has they are no longer the same stockings as they used to be. And I’m not sure that the store is aware of this, however, their return policy is to sketchy for the amount I spent. And so I will never order from them again for anything."

Wrong Item Arrived and No Refund

"When the wrong item arrived and it was clear the destroyed label was re-applied to the wrong package, I immediately contacted HerRoom. They refused to give me a refund since they didn't sell the item and the tracking was showing the package was delivered. When I asked why they believe I should pay for their or DHL's error, they stopped responding altogether."

"Y’all know y’all are dead wrong for lying about me washing my bra and saying it’s not eligible for return , and not only that but keeping my $80 bra and not sending it back . Wells Fargo is just as wrong for allowing y’all to do it , but that’s okay . Fraudulent and shady business practices will eventually have you all out of business . You will reap what you sow! "

Disappointing Policy

"I am very disappointed. I purchased a number of bras because I am between sizes. I tried on two of the bras: one fit, one didn't. When I returned the bra (this is a service you must pay for) they decided it couldn't be returned because it was "damaged with deodorant stains". I wore the bra for only the time it takes to put it on with a shirt and see how it feels and looks, exactly what would have been done in a brick-and-mortar store. So, it was very surprising to me that they would not accept this return. When I asked for more information and the criteria for their refusal of the bra, they said they couldn't disclose this information.
It is unfortunate because this feels like a very predatory practice as I have large breast (42GG) and it can be hard to find bras. I will definitely be looking somewhere else the next time I am in search of a new bra. Incredibly disappointing because I often tell people about HerRoom and the options they have. I will no longer be doing that.

BEWARE!!!

"I ordered two swimsuits from HerRoom in two different sizes. When I received my order I took both items out of the box, and I tried on the xl swimsuit that ended up being too small for me. Because the larger of the two (the xl) was too small, I didn't even try on the large. I tried on the xl swimsuit over my underwear, and never removed any tag or liner. I returned both swimsuits, only ever trying on one of them, and I was refunded for the one that I tried on but not refunded for the one that I DID NOT try on. When I contacted them that said that I sent it back damaged and that it had been worn and was dirty. This is impossible for me to have worm this item as it was smaller than the one that was too small. I kept telling them that I never wore the item, but they insisted that I did. They refuse to refund me for an item that I never used, never tried on, and returned to them in the same condition in which it was sent to me. They stated that there was deodorant on the crotch, and I didn't even know people wore deodorant on their crotch, I certainty do not. I should have read the reviews prior to ordering from them because this seems to be a common practice. They are thieves and I will never order from them again. I will continue fighting for the refund that I am owed."

Claimed I retuned an item damaged but would not send me a photo of the supposed damage

"So I guess it’s my word against theirs, but Ias told one of the items I returned to them was damaged and they refused to refund me. They also refused to send me proof of this damage. I tried the items on, put the ones that didn’t fit back in the poly mailer and sent them back. There was no opportunity for any damage to occur so I was shocked and dismayed when they told me they were keeping my $95. I was told that for $10 they would send the item back to me, which means it would cost me $105 for an item with mystery damage that didn’t fit in the first place! I requested a photo of the damage several times and was refused. I’m not sure how that’s even legal. I will not be shopping with them again. "
