Product arrived with poor packaging and missing parts. HIFi Sound was not helpfull and would not correct problem. Add on google shopping said new item arrived in poor condition refurbished.
Darren, the response you posted for everyone to see LOOKED very professional. However when i call for you or email i don't get a response? As i said before, parts were missing from order. The new speakers i purchased arrived with horrible packaging and were obviusly refurbished. Again, i didn't know that when i purchased them. As i've said numerous times, if they work, which i don't if they do yet,i will accept that. As for missing parts. Contrary to your boiler plate response, the damage was not caused in shipping. Packaging was horrible, but the box's were taped. The refurbished speakers were shipped without grills. I ask you nicely for the 5th time, PLEASE send me the speaker missing speaker grills.I've emailed TONY at HiFi and he blew me off, he told me to contact the MFG. I would if i bought the speakers directly from the MFG, but unfortunately i didn't, nor could I. The obviuos point is i bougth them from HiFi. As i write this review it occurs to me that you may not have a relationship with the MFG's, you may be a company that only buys refurbished or gray market. I don't know that to be the case, but because of your lack of customer service and the simple fact when i call your 1 800 # it immediatley directs and announces that all returns must be online. So please stop the lip service, send me the speaker grills. If you do that i will go away.

I just looked at the speakers i bought from HIFI one of them still has a chunk of drywall attached to it. It is hard for me to believe the MFG would refurbish them and leave a piece of drywall. it looks like HIFI sold me used speakers?

"I will never order from them again!! they sent me a refurbished radio with a cd player that didn't work and when i wanted to return it for a refund (because i had found a new one somewhere else) they gave me the run around for 6 weeks! their return policy clearly states that i have the right to return the item. i finally had to get the bank invovled. Don't order from them but if you do MAKE SURE you will NOT return the product.

4/19/10 I bought a car stereo from you
4/23/10 I received the car stereo from you
4/30/10 i emailed you my request to return the stereo and refund me my money
5/3/10 Tony from Hi Fi Sound emailed me an RMA and I shipped you the stereo back via federal express
5/11/10 Tony confirmed that you received the stereo
5/13/10 Tony told me he was going to issue a refund
6/8/10 After you have the stereo in your possession for nearly a month, i had yet to receive a refun from HiFi Sound so the bank issued me one instead.
oh and if you're gonna refund my shipping expense back to you like you stated in your response, then you still owe me $12 that i spend to ship the stereo back to you. I returned it because it was referbished (which i was not aware of when i bought it) and the CD player was defective. Ask Tony to show you the emails back and forth."

"I received my order later than expected after paying for speedy shipping. My order ended up up being an open box item and was missing the speaker grills. It took forever to get someone on the phone who told me that it was odd that I did not get grills. He said they would ship them out right away. That was almost 2 weeks ago and I still do not have any grills. I'll stick to EBAY from now on. As of July 13th I still have not received the grills for the speakers. And no one answers the phones or returns my email."
