"The price was awesome but the product was not what I had hoped for. The part was refurbished by the manufacture and I had ceased to work after 5 days of use. It was professionally installed as well. WARNING, if you plan on returning products to these folks make sure you save everything that came with it including the box it was shipped in. They will tag you with a $35 fee and if you plan on returning the product for a refund they will charge you 50% of the full cost so you will only get half of what you paid for back, which is a complete rip off."

I am concerned since a friend made a purchase the week before me on my recommendation, the same amplifier, and she found out it was out of stock by a note in her partial delivery. I can understand selling at a good price and then drop shipping but you let us think you had the merchandise in stock when you took our money.
Be professional and do the right thing here. I see your rating is a lot higher than some of your competitors. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I will up date our business dealing here.
9/25/09 UPDATE I sent another email to Chris Rush, CEO, today asking for an update on my back order. I received a form response that was the same as their last e mail on 9/15/09 offering me a store credit.
10/01/09 I received a refund for my cancelled order today. I received e mail Monday asking what I wanted and they responded promptly to my request for a refund.
10/21/09 The friend I mentioned above is still waiting on her refund for an Alpine PDX-2.150 ordered and paid for on 9/05/09."

On Tuesday, September 8th, 2009 at 2:27pm I placed an order for an amplifier. The next day, at 6pm, I emailed Darren requesting a tracking number, as his website indicates that most items ship the same day, or next day, and I hadn't received any communication from him other than a notification that my credit card had been charged. September 10th, at 9:26am, he responded that my item would ship that day, and that he would email me a tracking number as soon as he had it. That same night, at 11pm, I still hadn't heard from him, so I once again requested my tracking number, so I could make sure to be at my office when the package was scheduled to arrive. At 9:42 the next morning, Darren emailed me that the item was actually on back order, and I could either wait until the item returns to stock or get store credit and purchase something else. He also sent me links to refurbished products that he does have in stock. I know the product I want, and I know it's available immediately elsewhere, and since it does not say anywhere on his site that he doesn't provide refunds, I responded that I would like my money back instead. He did not respond to this request directly; he instead emailed me a copy of the UPS Billing Information Received Notification on Friday night, which indicates my tracking number for when my item will ship sometime in the indeterminate future. I wrote back that same night that was not a satisfactory response, and I would instead like a refund. Even though they are open on Saturdays, I have had no response. I am sending him another email today to let him know if I don't receive response by the end of business on Monday that he will be issuing me a refund, I will have no choice but to file a chargeback with my bank due to his misrepresentation of his product availability, blatant bait-and-switch attempt, and unwillingness to refund me money which he got under false pretenses. In the meantime, I urge everyone to spend their money elsewhere. Spend a little more upfront and save yourself the hassle I've experienced.
UPDATE: Well my amp arrived today. Regardless, This company is awful and you should stay away! Just look at the forums here and search the company name on google; tons and tons of negatives awful stories. You might end up with an okay deal from this operation if you want refurb kicker gear, but seriously, buy it elsewhere."

"I had no problem with placing my order or receiving my order from Hifi Soundconnection. However the item I order would not fit properly in my vehicle when the installer went to install the item. I got the Return Authorization number and sent the item back for a refund for which I am still waiting to get which is going a month know. I called the 1-800 number to find out what the status of my refund was. Well what when you are able to get through they tell you that you have to email them because they do not handle returns over the phone. So I did as they asked, sent an email (which doesn't make a lot of sense). But when they did finally respond back to my email it was not about my refund but a thank you email for ordering from them and a link to this website www.resellerratings.com. So I emailed a again got a response and they person who responded asked me did I want another item from them or my refund when I had clearly asked for a refund in the initial email I sent. So its going on a month know since I sent the item back for a refund and I am still awaiting my refund. Ordering and receiving my order was no problem, but when it comes to dealing with customer service to get a refund from these guys it is "HORRIBLE."

CHECK THIS OUT I EMAILED THE GUY WHO HAS BEEN EMAILING BACK AND FOURTH WITH ME ON MY REFUND BUT GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND. To Darren nothing has been credited to my account or any email notification sent to me. I was never asked if I was military or not because I placed the order through the ebay website. The 1-877 number just goes straight to the busy signal at all times when you call the number. I would just like to receive a refund on the item that I returned.

Like I stated before as a Soldier and consumer no one deserves to be treated the way these people treat you. Had I known these people crooked I would of never ordered from these guys. I just received this item in WHICH I CANCELLED THIS ORDER LAST WEEK, A DAY AFTER PLACING THE ORDER AND FINDING OUT ON MY OWN YOU GUYS NEVER HAD THIS ITEM IN STOCK (can't you guys tell i ordered it 3 day-select in the first place so i could get it by Friday, August 21st? i needed it by that day, that's why i placed the order with 3-Day shipping so i could get it on time, but no, you guys charged my credit card right away, then i found out by calling you guys again, then the rep. told me the item wasn't in stock and he offered to cancel the order, WHICH I DID, then i got the item somewhere else, cheaper, and ON TIME for Friday the 21st.)
You guys have the worst customer service i've seen so far, and i want to correct this issue in a civilized manner.
