"You obviously don't want to handle this just between us; maybe you will respond to me here seeing how you don't return emails or voice messages. Since you have not responded to my last message in well over a week, I have no other choice than to believe you are trying to rip me off. I ordered and paid for Stinger Pro hook-up wire from you but did not receive Stinger brand wire, which I have verified through AAMP of America (the distributor for Stinger products). If I don't hear back from you on this matter in the next day or so, I will have no other choice than to file Bait and Switch, Fraud and Theft By Deception charges against you with the Internet Crime Complaint Center, the Federal Trade Commission, the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office, as well as report your site to Google (your site will be removed from their search results). I have given you plenty of time to correct this; all I want is the wire that I paid for."

"On September 5th, 2009, I ordered and paid $442.69 for an Alpine PDX-2.150 2 channel car speaker amplifier, and Alpine SPX-17REF 61/2" Type-X Component Speakers. The package from HiFi came September 10 and I signed for it and picked it up on September 14th. When I opened the unlabeled box from them, I found only the speakers and a note from HIFI stating "This letter is to inform you that your order has been split and will be shipped in two or more parts." I patiently waited for four weeks before I initiated conversation with HIFI Sound in a PayPal dispute. I asked them to credit my PayPal account for the price of the amplifier($242.50) that had not yet been delivered. HiFi told me that they couldn't credit my PP account until I closed the PP dispute and claim because I had filled the dispute form out incorrectly. On October 23rd, I did as they suggested and closed the dispute and claim against them. On this same day I then sent HIFI sound an email, telling them that I closed the claim and dispute against them. I asked them for the refund of the $242.50 that they promised to pay me if I closed the PP dispute and claim. On October 26th, Robin responded, "the $242.50 will be refunded shortly."
On October 27th, after still finding no credit from HIFI in my PP account, I sent HIFI another email asking them to help me understand the reason for the delay. A few simple clicks on the computer should put the credit in my PP account instantaneously. On October 27th, Robin responded back saying, "no due to your dispute it is only allowing a full refund so we have to do it another way." That statement totally ignored the previous email that told him that I CLOSED the dispute and claim!
They have had my $242.50 for almost two months now. They are experts at stalling. If they had simply indicated on their web sight that the amplifier was out of stock, I would have never ordered the amplifier. I have heard nothing more from HIFI Sound since the 27th.

"Ordered and paid for 4 items. Received 3 inexpensive items promptly. 4th item, subwoofer, paid for, but still not delivered 5 wks later. Can not reach by phone. No personal response by email.Not even reason for delay. Well known to Missouri Attorney Generals office and to Southwestern Missouri BBB where rating is F!!! Do not buy from them. "Never heard of HiFi Sound, but I took a chance anyway,I bought a Sub box and a 12" dual coil Hifonics woofer, these items where cheap In cost! less that 100.00 for both. So I didn't have High expectations for sound quality, I powered it with a pioneer Amp and a pyle pro crossover and nice beefy wiring, To my surprise it was freaking awesome! the speaker performed very well, the box was perfect for size across the board(vented) and again less than a hundred bucks. Less than hundred bucks! I still cant believe it. If you want a killer deal,shop with HiFi connection, Oh and shipping was free! more icing on a perfect cake! "

"i have never thought that ordering a product was such a hard and painful task. i had order almost a $1,000 worth of equipment and they didnt even have the decency to tell me it was on back order until i waited almost 2 weeks and sent an emial asking about my order and was then told it was on back order. and i had 2 options option 1 i could use store credit and place a new order or option 2 wait for my order to be restocked. 1st off if i wanted something else i would of ordered something else me the consumer knows what i want hence the reason why i spent nearly a thousand dollars on it!!!!!!!!! and i have tried time and time again to be kept in contact about my order and hear nothing i call during business hours no one answers i leave messages no response i email no response they have no clue what customer service is. and have decided to file a claim through paypal to resolve this matter, for im tiered of the run around im tiered of no one talking to me. I HIGHLY SUGGEST IF YOU ARE THINKING OF ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY THINK AGAIN EVEN IF THE PRICE SEEMS RIGHT TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT IS THEY JUST TRYING TO GET YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU NOTHING NOT EVEN AN EXCUSE. "Buyer beware.

You will regret doing business with this company.

- The sell things they do not have in stock as if they have them

- The agree to a refund after you have waited weeks for your "in
stock" order, then they never refund your card and ship you items you
have already purchased elsewhere. In my case the supposed refunded
part of my order showed up 30 days after I ordered it and 13 days
after I canceled it.

- They sell "loaded" speaker boxes, that are actually a just a box and
retail speakers. In my case the speakers did not fit in the box
without an air gap as the holes were the wrong size.

- I used the F*** word in an email to them, not directed towards them
personally, but at the speaker boxes with the wrong size hole. And
they had the nerve to mail back that they will not work me because of
the offensive language. I believe this business is in New York, what a
pathetic excuse.

Also, the last review of these guys I did on this site, they actually
demanded I give them a good review to fix the problems with the last
order (missing parts). I am sorry that I did that for my own selfish
reasons (to get my issue fixed).

I can't believe I was stupid enough to try them again, apparantly they
try and rip you off every time, at least I am 2 for 2.

"Ordered set of speakers on Sept 18th($273). Has been a terribly inconvenient experience with hifisoundconnection. For roughly 1 solid month now they have had my payment and given back nothing but assurances that the speakers "will be there soon". I've gotten multiple replies that they are backordered, that they will have them sent straight from supplier, that I may have an instore credit. Noone there will answer the phone. The online Cust Service never seems to be ONLINE. I can get NOONE there to respond to requests to refund my money.
Myself, my audiophile friends/family will never purchase from this company either on their site or eBay again. When posting pics and documentary of my install on the Forums I frequent, I'll be mentioning this hirrid experience as well.
As it stands, this has been turned over to Paypal for resolution and I have already re-placed my order elsewhere AND received the speakers.

"Pro: Order shipped quickly, Instructions clear and easy to follow, Installation in about 45 minutes. Product works as advertised, sound quality excellent. Overall very happy with HiFi Sound Connection and the iSimple product for Infiniti.
Con: User interface using car audio system is a little non intuitive and has a learning curve. Tuning knobs allows you to scroll through songs, playlists, etc, with is good, however unlike the iPod when you rapidly rotate the knob, it does not rapidly scroll through songs so if you have a lot of songs on your iPod it takes a very long time to get to the end of the list.

"Worst online experience I have ever had. I ordered a JL amp and the item was back ordered. But they did not tell me it was back ordered until I wrote an e-mail a week later asking why they had not sent out my item. They then tried to get me to purchase some other refurbished items that I did not want. I asked for a refund, at first they would not give it to me. I then told them I would get a lawyer involved if I had to. They agreed to give me a refund, but they still didn't do it for 2 weeks. So I had to go back through paypal to get my refund that they had already promised me 2 weeks prior. Then that had the nerve to send me an e-mail to tell me I should not have wasted my time sending them e-mails asking for my refund after they told me they would give it to me. Come on, it had been 2 weeks already. DO NOT BUY from this comapny."
