"Most Unsatisfactory rating. This was a nightmare of my internet buying experience. I ordered 3 things from this company and am not even sure if the subwoofer I received is in working condition. Im am yet to find out because the amp I ordered never came. Their customer service is horrible. Forget trying to call their 1-800 # as no one EVER picks up or responds. And the two times someone actually answered they were disgruntled, frustrated and sounded and rude. One guy asked for my email address and then looked me up followed by immediately hanging up. At that time I had been sending emails of discontent about the professionalism this company exerted about my amp purchase. Emails are just as bad, any response is met with a template explaining a back order and 2 week time wait. There is no intelligent dialogue. I even had to call my bank and stop payment on the purchase because of fear of fraud. This company looks to have a track record of defrauding people. It doesnt matter if the amp is on sale for $1, you will never see the product and they will take your money. BUYER BE AWARE! SHOP ELSE WHERE!
Update: it has been over 3 weeks and still have not heard a word about the amp which was suppose to be on back order. I already contacted my bank and stopped payment and they are investigating. Oh and apparently hifi sound is on a campaign to clear their name from ALOT of wrong that have and are doing. STILL BE AWARE! This Darren guy answering seems to be a front.

"Well Let's see where to start. I recently purchased. Several items from this website intended to be stinger battery terminals to match the ones I already had. according to the item depicted on the website the item I already had matched the picture and even the item number on the website. I placed my order and a week or so later the items showed up. In a box originally intended for a Kicker L5. Complete with subwoofer packing materials still in it. This box had a label on it and was left on my front porch. Good thing I live in a good neighborhood or this would have been gone quickly. I guess a brown box is too expensive. Upon opening the box the items were not as described on the website and were not what I wanted. An email was sent and I was told that the item was stinger's new item and carried the same item number which it is not. I told them I wanted a refund and and RMA to return the items and never heard back from them. I did not appreciate the way I was treated as a paying customer and will never buy from here again. Very tempted to do a chargeback to my credit card and contact the BBB as well. I honestly hope that all shady companies like this will cease to exist. "

"I ordered a Refurbished Kicker amp and 2 Kicker Speakers on 9-15-09 and received both. The speakers were fine, but the amp was DOA. So,I emailed HiFisoundConnection and got a return authorization number and shipped it back. They sent me a new amp instead of having me wait to have the other one repaired. That's how you're suppose to treat customers. "
