"My furniture arrived from Blu Dot damaged and with parts missing, and it has been a slow process to get it replaced. The support team has been very nice, but I don't have a lot of confidence that the replacement furniture will arrive undamaged (since I believe this happened during shipment).
Update: I received 2 Blue Dot replacement stools and am giving up on getting a good set from them. I am updating my rating to reflect the experience with Hive, which has been good. I believe all the problems are actually with Blu Dot. The second set of 2 stool I got arrived and were also missing some hardware. The box it arrived in was pretty beaten up and I suspect everything shipped but fell out in shipment. I was able to use the other two chairs I have for replacement hardware. There was some chipping and cracking on the stool seats, but condition was improved in this regard. On comparison to the first batch of stools I received, these were painted differently - a thicker paint or more coats - resulting in a slightly different color (ivory rather than white, maybe?). Not a huge deal, but the seats were also cut differently - smaller. One even had a short edge so the metal was displayed for the base on one side.
So, I'm giving up. My rating of Hive improves because they have been great, but I decided to contact Blu Dot directly and return everything via Hive so I can find a solution for my home. "

“we are sorry this customer is dissatisfied, however the toothpick holder comes with a supply of toothpicks and it is very easy to purchase replacements virtually anywhere. if there is any doubt simply refer to the type and brand of toothpicks that come with it for future reference on buying replacements. we offered a full refund or exchange but customer refused this offer.”
