"Ordered $130 shoes and they came defective. They said they would give me 10% off. That’s $13 off which is hardly anything. I emailed them to try to make it right and talked to them on the phone. All of this being my personal time. I said if they gave me a bigger discount it would say a lot about their company and how much it would mean to keep me as a customer as well as the rest of my family who runs. Because they did not handle this right I told them I would not give them another dollar and I guess they thought that was OK because they held to their taking 10% off. I will not support a business who doesn’t take Customer Service to the highest level. I have a lot of places I can buy $130 running shoes and this will not be one of them. So, I had to spend all my time doing the whole return label thing and make a trip to the post office. I won’t buy from them again, ever. Shame on you. Way too many places to spend my hard earned money. "

"The next day I placed my online order, I got a call informing me that their warehouse no longer had in their inventory the backpack I ordered. The representative I talked to offered to send it thru expedited shipping the moment they receive the item from Head which she estimated to be between 2-4 days. Ten days later, my order has not arrived yet Holabird had already charged my credit card. I called Holabird and asked the customer service representative when I can expect my order to arrive and she bluntly said she had no idea. That answer was simply unacceptable!
These are not good customer service practice(s):
1. the item was not available (yet their website did not indicate that) when I ordered it causing the delay
2. the representative assured me that they will be sending my order thru expedited shipping but apparently they did not
3. my credit card was charged even before they shipped out the item
4. the representative was rude and did not provide me with any information as to the status of my order
5. when I asked to speak with a supervisor to complain about the very poor service, she claimed that her supervisor was busy. It was only when I stopped talking and asked her if she were done with her continuous blabber that she transferred me to her manager. Lo and behold, the manager was able to provide me with an estimate on when my order arrives.
6. as i write this, I have not received any form of communication from Holabird to apologize or at the very least explain as to why my order was not expedited, as they had committed. "
