"Bought some running shoes for $150. The shoes were not as wide as advertised so I returned them using the USPS label provided. (Had to print, cut and tape label instead of simply dropping shoes off at UPS as we do with Amazon). Shoes were dropped off at post office on November 27. Tracking shows that they are stuck...or disappeared in D.C. on December 10. No movement for five days...today is Dec. 15.
An email to Holabird on December 10 generated a response that said they would forward the issue to management to "see if we can't work something out". As of today, I have had no response from Holabird about resolving the issue.
I did file a lost mail report with USPS but have had no assistance for followup from the company.
The attitude appears to be that the loss of the product by USPS is somehow my fault for trusting that the return process would be seamless. Believe me, it will not happen again.
