"I hired home advisors to repair a garage door. I chose the fixed price option of approximately $271. They were supposed to arrive at 10 am today. My elderly mom has been waiting since 0930. I began calling Home Advisor at 11 trying to find out what was going on. I have been placed on hold twice for more than 30 minutes each time. There is no supervisor to speak to and one can call me back in 24-48 hoYes. REALLY???? No, they have no idea if my card has been charged. Soooo.....a no show, no call “pro”, which may have cost me $271 and a customer service department that is basically useless. BEWARE OF HOME ADVISOR."

"The phone lines have a extremely long wait time. I have more than once waited an hour or longer and even after waiting this long, have been disconnected?! My time is valuable and I have had to start again! I have called and when I do eventually get to talk to a live person, I have been transfered repeatedly and have to start over each time! I have had professionals not show up for appointments! I have service show up but say they were not scheduled for the work I had specifically requested to have performed, in detail, after talking at length to representative to try to ensure that the work details were relayed specifically to avoid this from happening-BUT IT DID ANYWAY!?! Thus, I took a day off from work and the work was NOT ACCOMPLISHED!?!
I have scheduled on the Home Advisors site, with specific details and they too were not relayed and there was lack of specific information/details to service person!?!
Any questions, issues, problems have to email?! Which is a LATER RESPONSE! or call and wait hour minimum to hopefully talk to a person,if not be transfered repeatedly, thus long waits on hold more and start over asking for help again is now expected on all calls to Home Advisor! A whole morning, afternoon or day can be spent just waiting for someone to answer and hopefully when they do, get any help or rectification?! I wanted to use the fixed price program which I tried several times, but I have given up! I will NOT USE HOME ADVISORS AGAIN. Nor WILL I EVER REFER OR SUGGEST ANYONE USE THIS SERVICE. MAINLY FOR THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEN THE LACK OF RELAYED WORK DETAILS, THEN THE WAITS ON LINE, HANG UPS AFTER HOLDING ON LINES FOR WAY TOO LONG! THIS program is probably too big so no one is accountable, there is no local accountability, no one to help directly for customer satisfaction! I get emails in response several days later, with useless pat response of 'sorry' but what does that do for the customer?! Very Poor service! VERY POOR! I also only see positive reviews?! I know I am not the only one with poor service experiences!"
