"Pretty good overall. Very good prices, and they had the lights drop-shipped from the manufacturer. Took longer to arrive than I wanted, but less time than estimated, so I am happy overall. They arrived in good condition, with no missing or damaged pieces."
"My Order actually became cancelled due to color choice discontinued. Prior to ordering I requested a stock check and received a reply all Ok- Deliovery in 2 weeks. I placed the order for my client and 4 days later was told could not get products anymore. This was frustrating as almost 2 weeks had passed. It is also frustrating that i could not physically speak to someone. Anyways I found another site that had product and they were happy to ship it. maybe a little more homework would have gone a lone way for this customer satisfaction.

"I have purchased items from HomeCenter before when renovating kitchen and half bath. This time I purchased a Toto washlet. The price was almost half the price quoted by a nearby authorized dealer. Delivery arrived less than a week after I placed my order. Great job!"
"I placed my order on 4/12/12 for a Rohl sink, pot filler and bar faucet. I received the sink but had a run in with the delivery service because they were going to charge me an additional delivery fee for it even though I had already paid $230 shipping to Homecenter. Finally I got the sink without paying additional fees. Had to scream at Manager at delivery service to make that happen. When i asked Brian O for assistance regarding the delivery company they set up i received no response regarding this matter - ever! I also received an email that my pot filler and bar faucet would ship on 4/30. Starting on 5/2 I sent an email every day asking if my two remaining items had shipped. I finally wrote an email today to Brian O, listed as my service representative (who also is listed as Brian Okin, CEO of Homecenter on BBB.org). I said i would make a complaint through my credit card company if I didn't hear back. He sent me an email today saying the Rohl sink had shipped and gave me a tracking number. What a joke!! I already received the sink. Will give him today to respond to the last email I sent him and tell me the status on the pot filler and bar faucet. I have never been so disappointed in a company's customer service!"
"Sent numerous emails to HomeCenter, with no response. They have no phone or an address. Only recourse is to contact Credit Card company. Not happy with the way they do business."
"I am extremely disappointed in the handling of this shipment. I placed the order on April 9 thinking I was also getting 2 day shipping. I was notified there would be extra shipping charges April 11, then on April 19 I was told the item would not even be shipped out until May 8, and if I wanted it sooner it would cost more money. Very Very unhappy. "
"PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU ORDER!
I was charged a hidden $18.95 "handling fee" on a $10 order. Google.com advertised my total as $10.20 including shipping.
The policies of this company are very dishonest. Unfortunately I will be filing a complaint with my credit card company. I will never shop at this website again. They probably have to make fake reviews to get any positive feedback. "
"AWFUL. DONT BUY ANYTHING HERE. NO RESPONSE TO MULTIPLE EMAILS. WONT REFUND MY CHARGE CARD. NO PHONE NUMBER. MOST FRUSTRATING INTERNET SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. CHECK BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU FOR MORE HORROR STORIES - WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE."
"Stay away from this merchant! They have deceptive business practices. They sell factory second products. They do not give you a phone number to contact if you have a problem, slow (if at all) to answer email, and they do not stand behind their products. Customer Service is POOR at best!! Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else!!!"
"Would never buy from again. Took 1 1/2 months to get an overpriced toilet seat and now they are ignoring my request to return it."
"I highly recommend that you NOT use this vendor. This business appears to be scamming its clients by not shipping items in a timely manner, shipping broken items and then makes it money by charging excessive restocking fees (on the order of 25-50%).
Delivery speed is completely unreliable and the company refuses to stand behind its statement that "items usually ship next business day." We ordered six items from this company on February 13. As of March 2, nothing had been shipped yet. The first three items - bathroom faucets - were shipped on March 2 and arrived, but 2 of the 3 of them were broken. When we reported this to homecenter.com, they told us it would take 15 days to provide us with a return authorization code. At this point it was more than 4 weeks since we'd placed the order and we were without use of our bathroom sinks. So, we asked homecenter to credit us for the broken faucets and they refused and said that they would need to charge us a 40% restocking fee or would need to wait for them to receive the broken faucets, verify that they were broken and then ship us new ones (which would put us at 8 weeks from ordering).
As of March 12, one month after placing the order, none of the other items have arrived. We asked to cancel the light fixture we ordered, which has not yet been shipped, but they claim that this can't be cancelled so we'll incur another 25% restocking fee if we don't accept delivery.
Also, their prices are listed at below market, but you shouldn't believe them. They charge multiple shipping charges, so the total price per item ends up being the same as any other vendor. We realized this at the end of the order process and decided to process our order anyway because we'd already selected everything.
Don't make the mistake we did. We'd like to save others the nightmare of doing business with homecenter.com. They refuse to provide any phone numbers to reach customer service and their standard email response is "sorry, you'll need to pay for restocking" if anything goes wrong on their end."
"DO NOT BUY FROM HOME CENTER. THEY ARE CRAP. THEIR PRICING IS DISHONEST AS THEY CHARGE YOU $40 FOR FREIGHT AND HANDLING AND DONT SEND YOU THE PRODUCT UNTIL MONTHS LATER. THEY DONT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER SO YOU CANT DEAL WITH THE INEPT CUSTOMER SERVICE DIRECTLY. THEY ALSO DONT CARE AND EMAIL YOU WHEN THEY WISH AND ARE EVASIVE AND DO NOT ACTION ANYTHING. I WOULD RECOMMMEND GETTING IN YOUR CAR AND DRIVING TO HOME DEPOT OR LOWES WHERE YOU CAN TALK TO PEOPLE WHO SPEAK/UNDERSTAND ENGLISH AND PAY MORE BUT BE HAPPIER ABOUT THE SERVICE AND PRODUCT"
"I purchased a sink from Home Center since they had the best price. Their ad said they couldn't show pictures because their prices were so low; I should have taken this as a warning. They also could not supply halfway decent customer service. It took them 6 weeks to ship the sink, holding up our entire kitchen project. I got no response to multiple calls and emails. I would never buy from Home Center again."
"I ordered a pendant light fixture on February 3 and immediately received two emails that included a receipt and an indication that the order was being processed. After 7 days without any further communication, I attempted to contact homecenter.com via repeated emails and a telephone number found through a directory search They have no contact numbers listed on their website. All emails have been ignored and their telephone rings busy continuously. I have subsequently found numerous complaints about this business on the web. They have charged my credit card and I will need to take the appropriate measures through the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company to resolve this issue."
"Do NOT order from this company! They have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and their website give NO PHONE #!!! I thought I was getting a great deal on a Kohler kitchen faucet when I ordered it from homecenter.com, but the warm feelings went away almost immediately upon ordering. It took 2 weeks to receive the faucet. I installed it immediately only to discover that the cold water line was defective. No water would flow through the line and you can't remove or switch it out. After speaking directly with Kohler, I was told to return it. I sent in a return request to homecenter.com and was told it may take 15 days to receive my return "approval" and instructions. I also was told there would be a 10% restocking fee. I would've exchanged the item to avoid the fee, but I knew I couldn't go 2 weeks without a faucet waiting for the new one to arrive! I purchased and installed another faucet from a local store while I waited for return instructions. 15 business days came and went and I got no response from homecenter.com about the return. I sent numerous emails, but never got any replies. I can't call the company to complain because there is NO phone # on their website! It has now been over 1 month and I still have the defective faucet with no way to return it or get reimbursed for the $150+ I spent on it. I have filed a complaint with the BBB because I don’t know what else to do. Did I mention that I ordered this on my company credit card (to be installed where I work)? My boss is not pleased that we are out this money."
