I purchased a Hunter Ceiling Fan from Homeclick, and paid approximately 30% less than I would have had to pay at a brick-and-mortar store like Lowe's or Home Depot! Plus, the shipping was free! I am entirely satisfied with my purchase in every respect --- except one: it took nearly a MONTH before I received my fan! It was sent "from the manufacturer," and I had no way of contacting them to find out why it was taking so long. I found this very frustrating, and certainly had not expected to have to wait so long to get something I needed quickly. Other than that, I am very happy with my transaction, and am enjoying the cool breezes generated by my beautiful Hunter fan!"
"HomeClick fell short of their commitment to customer satisfaction with me. I am on active duty in the military and was away for training when the refrigerator I ordered arrived late. The delivery people told my wife they would put the refrigerator in the house for $50 since there are 3 steps up into our house (there was no mention of this when I ordered). My wife declined and the refrigerator sat outside in its box for a week. When I returned I brought the refrigerator inside. The box was in perfect shape, but when I removed the box I noticed a deep dent in the side of the refrigerator. It was obvious this dent was there before the refrigerator was boxed. When we installed the refrigerator the ice maker did not work. I called customer service and they basically said I called too late and that the dent and the non-fucntional ice maker were not their problem and that I would have to call the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer and they said it was not their problem and that I would have to call HomeClick. This experience meets my definintion of poor customer service. "

Their communication with me was great. Letting me know how long it would take. Then once it shipped, being able to track it. I would definitely buy from them again and refer my friends as well."
"I ordered 6 glass pulls and had 3 of the 6 arrive cracked with big pieces out of them. I believe they were shipped that way since the box came well packaged. I also had the box arrive at my home at noon and it was not left because a signature was required by the sender, something I was not aware of,so I had to contact UPS and redirect them to send it to my job and pay an additional $3. So, I am not happy about the purchase. "

Asked pre-sale questions and all of their answers were incorrect. Product was "available" and would ship in 24-48 hours. On third bus day I called and was told it should ship on 5th bus day... said that was unacceptable, and was told she would call Hunter and get it sent out that day. 6 hours later I called back and was told it was supposed to ship 7 days from order (which was Sunday so it would ship on Tuesday as Monday was a holiday...). Told him to cancel order as they did not ship as promised and did not notify me as required by FTC rules. He said he would try to cancel.... Minutes later got an email that 20 mins after my morning call Hunter had notified FedEx that it was ready to be picked up.
Homeclick lacked product knowledge and shipping info and falsely advertised when it would ship. Will not buy from them again."

"HomeClick's service was fine. Customer service was very courteous, friendly and helpful. The big problem is that since they do not have the products in hand and the description they are provided is quite limited therefore it is very difficult to know exactly what you are purchasing. I am an interior designer and I can not make purchases not having all the specifications and then get stuck with something that does not fit or work. Even though the shipping is free, if you need to return something, sometimes it costs more to send it back than what the item is worth. Also the instructions that come with the items are very limited and written in English but by Chinese for Chinese, so they make no sense. That's what we get when we outsource manufacturing jobs and the products have no Westerner's supervision."
"Update: I heard from Homeclick and it seems they are trying to make things right...they've updated me on the status and credited my account until the item actually ships (it's on backorder). I will post another update after the transaction has been completed, all is not lost yet.
Personally I've experienced nothing but frustration with Homeclick.com. I was charged for my order 4 weeks ago and I still don't have anything to show for it. I've sent inquiries on the website, via e-mail and called and they just don't seem to be interested in telling me where my package is. I am going to have to dispute the charge at this point because Homeclick.com has horrible customer service, they just ignore you! They are really amazing at charging your credit card but when you don't get the item you were charged for don't expect to get any help ... your e-mails and web site inquiries go into some black hole never to be seen again and if you call they say they will check and get back to you like the wonderfully unhelpful customer service agent Dave told me, but they don't call - thanks for the help Dave! I am very unhappy with the experience that I've had so unless you are into paying for something that you will never get and having to fight for your money back don't bother ordering anything from Homeclick.com! By the way this order was over $ 300.00, that is a lot these days so you would think you would get better treatment!"
