"After waiting 3 weeks for a special order from my local H*** D**** that was poorly made and package, I began an online search for replacement light fixtures for my kitchen and office. The Homeclick.com website is easy to maneuver and made my search simple. Homeclick.com had BOTH lights I wanted, and with the extra discount and free shipping the price was fantastic!

The original order gave a 4-week lead time for drop shipping the lights, so I called Customer Service to check on a more definite shipping date. The CS rep was very helpful, called the company and told me the lights would be shipping the following Monday. The lights arrived EXTREMELY well packed from the company and in perfect condition.

"By warned, by ordering from Homeclick, you are taking a chance to have the wrong item shipped to you without a chance to return and you agree to really bad customer service and careless order handling.

I ordered 2 identitcal Grohe showerheads and 2 identical Grohe shower hoses from them on July 5th. All items were marked in-stock and the shipment arrivied in a week. OK so far.

It turned out that one of the hoses was different, a much cheaper model. The hoses were packaged in almost identical clamshell packaging, so we only realized that the wrong item was shipped when the hoses were unpackaged for installation. The wrong hose was of completely different quality, material and made of much cheaper components (and it costs twice as cheap on their web site).

I immediately contacted Homeclick for replacement and it took them 1 week to get back to me. They replied with an email that contained dead link to a return shipping label. When I emailed them back for correction, I got "Out Of Office" reply. Another week passed by.

When I finally got ahold of their customer service, they refused to exchange the wrong hose becasue "it was open". Arguing with them that it was their error on the first place didn't help. They weren't overly concerned with an error ("you are overreacting ... it was packaged by Human Person and we all make mistakes"). They didn't offer to reimburse me for difference either. There was absolutely nothing they would offer to rectify the situation. Moreover, the customer service rep named Derek even suggested that disputing it with credit card won't help me because "I was not following their return policies".

Complete waste of my time and money! During my last renovation project I've dealt with many other online Home/Plumbing outlets - IraWoods.com, HomeAndStone.com, CSNStores.com to name a few. All of them were comparatively (if not better) priced but none of them showed such a complete disregard of customer service norms and disrespect for their customer as homeclick.com.

If you are on the market for plumbing, lighting or other home items - spend a few minutes researching their customer ratings. Companys are rated not on how they deal when order goes OK, but how well they handle issues that may arise with the order or post-sale support."
