"The shower body was great. There were screws missing for the door assembly. The biggest problem was that the rubber gaskets the manufacturer provided leaked, both the ones connecting the door frames to the shower body and the ones provided for the glass to frame connection. We had to go back, remove them and replace them with caulk."

"I needed 2 stainless steel drawer slides, and everybody else sells them in pairs... Except Homeclick ( I thought I was ordering 1 pair). So I paid way too much money for 1 drawer slide. Plus it dosen't fit in my location, so I asked to return it. After two emails and 1 phone call, I got a response back by email saying that they don't accept returns for that manufacturer. (As stated on their page). So i replied to the email asking why they wouldn't return the item, and have gotten no response in the last 10 days. I don't get this policy, my item shipped direct from the manufacturer and I would be more than happy to pay shipping both ways and a small restocking fee. I will not buy from Homeclick again.

Update 8-25-10
After posting this review Jennifer from Homeclick read it, and then was able to get a return authorazition for the item I purchased, less a 25 percent restocking fee. I sent it back and got a credit posted to my Visa card for the balance.

"I ordered our undermount sink on a Monday and absolutely needed it to arrive by the following Friday morning (at the latest) so our countertop fabricator could mount it at his place and deliver countertops for installation the following Monday. There was no online option for expedited shipping, so I called Homeclick. The person who answered was very helpful and indicated she would make sure the warehouse knew I needed speedy delivery. She indicated I would get shipping/tracking information by e-mail when the item went out. The next day I got a note from Jennifer Breese saying that they no longer offered expedited shipping! I had a very quick and pleasant e-mail exchange with her though, and Jennifer said she would look into it and see what she could do. The next thing I knew, she had it all worked out and my item was actually delivered to the fabricator on Thursday! So once Homeclick (and Jennifer) figured out what I needed and why, they definitely made it happen with excellent service for my special-handling situation. "

"Terrible service. Sent the wrong item and when I called and emailed to correct it; they said they couldn't overnight the correct item (it was holding up a construction project) and when I said fine, I'll just sell the incorrect item (because it was worth 4x what I paid for the item I never got), they said fine - that I could do so. Two weeks later, I get a call from a manager wanting that incorrect item. No problem - as long as I'm not charged for anything, because then I have nothing. I have to schedule a pick-up with UPS who was apparently given all the wrong pick-up information from HomeClick and who wasn't paid the pick-up fee. So again, I'm left here with an unwanted item, and over 2 hours spent getting the correct item (elsewhere) and trying to get rid of this unwanted box. It's still here.

Don't do it.

"When order was placed I received an estimated ship date of 6/30/10. The items didn't ship on that date but I didn't get a status update until 7/2. When I didn't get a ship notification on the 16th I called to check status and was told the items would arrive at the warehouse that day or the next and would receive ship confirmation in 24 to 48 hours. When that didn't happen I called again and was told the items were there and would ship that day, I would get ship confirmation within 24 hours. When that didn't happen I called AGAIN on the morning of 6/26 and was told that they couldn't get through to the vendor but would email me the status when they did get through. When it was time to go home that day and I STILL hadn't heard anything I called AGAIN and was told that 1 item was in stock but the other wouldn't arrive at the vendor until 7/30, that your policy is to not ship partial and that was why nothing had shipped yet. Derek authorized the partial shipment to go out ASAP and I did get ship confirmation the next day but it claims both items shipped, which seemed a little odd if the 2nd items wasn't arriving in their warehouse until 7/30 so I'm not really sure what I"m getting but am pretty certain that it will now arrive on 7/29. In all the conversations I had with your customer service associates only Derek gave a reason that the items hadn't shipped yet and explained the no partial shipment policy and then some of the information he gave me appears to be incorrect since it looks like Amerock shipped parts they weren't scheduled to have until 7/30. At this point I'm not really sure if your customer service staff was receiving bad information from Amerock or they are just incompetant. Although I realize the delay in shipment was probably out of your control and was caused by Amerock, I placed my order with you, HomeClick, and was very disappointed with the way it was handled. I will probably never order from you again.
UPDATE: Homeclick contacted me immediately and offered an 8%refund for the inconvenience, which they processed quickly. I appreciate their fast response and am willing to give them another chance.

"The delivery system stinks!!! My fire pit was not delivered by the date stated. I called Homeclick twice to get a more specific delivery time so someone could be home to get the item off the truck - the delivery company would not pull down our short straight driveway (with a clear turn around!) or remove the item from the truck! I had friendly service from Homeclick. However, there was absolutely NO contact between Homelink and the delivery company and it took days past the deadline to get my item! When the delivery company finally set a time, my husband wasted three hours of work waiting for the truck! What an absolute headache!!!! "

"Ordered an air conditioner on 6/20. Immediately recieved an order confirmation email stating "This item will ship on or before 7/12/2010". For three weeks I wait periodically checking the order status. When I finally call on 7/13 to see why nothing has shipped they get back to me with an email stating the following: "We wouldn’t be able to fill the order because the item is discontinued. I am very sorry for the inconvenience".

I think this story speaks for itself. I am extremely frustrated and I cannot understand such a lack of communication with customers. I would lose my job if I let this type of thing go on where I work.

"Ordered a simple light kit from their website. The website does not list stock information, so you have no idea ahead of time if the item is in stock or not. This item is shipped directly from the manufacturer, but again, they never tell you this until after you place your order.

My order was supposed to ship on 7/7/2010. With no product in sight, I emailed them on 7/13/2010 asking for a status update. (Their order status page provided no other information, other than telling me that the order would be shipped on 7/7/2010, even on 7/13!).

They replied within 4 hours saying the order would now be shipped on or before 7/15/2010. Still no further information or tracking numbers.

So then you try and cancel your order or reply to the email. You can't do it online! You have to call them up. To cancel, you can't even speak to a live person, you have to leave a message on a voicemail system. What is, the 1990s? All in all, it felt like they made you jump through hoops to cancel an order (which is like a night day experience from other online retailers, such as Amazon.com).

I will not be ordering from or recommending this site again to my friends and family.

"I ordered a Fisher & Pakel dryer from Homeclick. The unit arrived at my home at the appointed time in pristine condition. I have a F&P washer and the dryer is its mate. The YRC delivery man was friendly and very helpful.

I will buy from Homeclick again and will suggest the site to friends, too. Problems that did arise were handled promptly and to my satisfaction.
