"Canceled order for $1200 LG range after a month stating product was damaged and unavailable until december and I told them to I would wait. Then they refund my money and withdrawl it the next day. So I thought they made a mistake and I was going to receive it. I called back a few weeks later and they said it wasnt available until May and that I needed to do a credit card chargeback to get my money back because they had an issue with their processor. I filed the chargeback with mastercard and I may now have to wait up to 60 days for my money back. I was also informed that I am not the only one having issues with Homeeverything."
"I cancelled the order after two months of BS.
A "refund" was issued three weeks later, followed by a new charge on the same day. Now I suppose HE is milking every bit of the time allowed to respond to the credit card dispute! Criminals!"
"Avoid this company. Ten days after ordering an icemaker I received an email saying the order was cancelled. No reason given and when I tried to reach them by phone all I got were busy signals (4 attempts in two hours). As a result of the cancellation, My contractor had to wait to finsih a renovation in my basement. To top it off, Home Everything charged my credit card twice, and only cancelled one of the billings.
Not sure how they can stay in business operating this way."
"Ordered a BBQ part (warming rack) from this business on October 1, today (November 23)they said they can not get the part. I picked the part up today from a local hardware store. The warming rack is used on several models of this very popular brand of BBQ."
"Stay away from this vendor. Ordered over $4300 on 10/5/2011 was told products would ship on 11/2/2001. Not good, but I was not in a huge hurry. On 11/2 was told they would ship in 3 to 5 days, 5 days later I contacted them and they said they were crediting my credit card for the full amount and they would contact me when the products came in to see if I still wanted them. I was not happy and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was transferred to the supervisor's voice mail where I asked to be called back. No call back. I then discovered that they credited my credit card only to charge me again for the full amount. Contacted the credit card company and disputed the second charge.
The real reason I went with these jokers was they had a $350 rebate, they had a $150 on-line coupon and I could avoid sales tax. After all this time and energy I had to purchase locally, not get the rebate (the time limit expired) or on-line coupon and pay sales tax so they cost me over $900. BTW...they still have not contacted me......CHICKENS!!"
"never ever buy from these criminals. I ordered a washer/dryer, they did not deliver for three months and I am still waiting for my refund. They claim it is a problem with their payment provider (which is not my problem). I now have to go through my credit card company."
"DO NOT BUY FROM HOME EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU READ THIS REVIEW. I ordered an LG Washer/Dryer on September 20th, 2011, when my current set stopped working due to flooded basement. I found the best price at homeeverything, but the catch was that it would take 3-4 weeks. I accepted the long time since the price was good; little I knew that I was dealing with thieves. I called the company in late October to inquire about the order and they said that by October 31st, I will receive the appliance set. In November 7th, I called them again and they said that by November 9th, I will receive the set. On November 14th, I called them and before they say a date, I asked for my full refund. During all these months my wife and I with our little kids have been managing to do our Laundry outside. It has been a terrible experience dealing with the HomeEverything. In November, I asked for a refund through their automated on-line customer service (For two complete days, I could not reach anyone on the phone). They approved to give me a full refund, but there is a catch. They asked me to file a dispute with my credit card company!! They explained to me that they are in dispute with their merchant and they will process the refund when their dispute is settled. This could be indefinite and long term. If this is not a scam, what is......? I really ask you not to deal with HomeEverything. They have no sense of customer satisfaction; they run a scam business. They have stolen my money and with their horrific and terrible service have created a lot of work for my family. They are not reliable and do not understand that reputable companies refund people quickly while they deal with their business disputes. They put the customer between them and the merchant. Now, I have no idea who I am dealing with, HomeEverything or an unknown merchant company. I am planning to take a trip to New York where their alleged company is and talk to them in person and demand my money. I am also taking legal actions and pursing the refund through all means possible."
"Not a reputable company...ordered a stove on 9/7 and told 2-3 weeks and thereafter at least once a week (after the first 3 weeks) I would be told "all is okay" and they will get it that week and have it out to me the following day (maybe 2 days later). I would have to call back after not getting an update as expected (or promised in a few cases)and would be told it was not in their possession yet and repeat the above. Also was told 2 times that they got the stove and they were ready to ship to me when they found "damage" and had to send it back. They never once called with an update - always had to call to get an update. Finally after 3 months of empty promises/apologies I cancelled the order a couple weeks ago to go elsewhere. These guys are just not worth doing business with."
"MY COMPLAINT FILED WITH THE BBB ON 21NOV2011
To whom It May Concern;Very long story short. This (Home Everything) is an online scam company. You order an item and they charge your account immediately then 12 days later they issue a refund, cancel your order and tell you that it is because the item is not available for six months. The next day they charge your account again. When you call the CSR's or Sales Reps to see why your account was charged again they (3 different ones) tell you it is a glitch in the system and that their processor is down and to open a dispute with your bank. You ask to speak to a Manager whose name is Jamie @ X-302 and all you get is a voice mail and he will never return your call even after you tell him you are going to report them BBB.Between e-pinions and various other sites there is over 2000 complaints against this company for this same issue with your account being double charged and never refunded. In my case it was a Frigidaire Gas Range (FGGF3031KB). I called Frigidaire and they informed me that there is 23 of those items in a warehouse in Brooklyn. This company really needs to be shut down.Thank you for your time Michael"
"Do not shop here. Period. I waited weeks for my washer and dryer. After 3 or so weeks, I checked my order status online, only to discover that they had issued a refund to my account for my order, and had not bothered to contact me in any way to let me know that I would not be receiving my washer and dryer. When I called customer service, they lied and told me that they had *just* issued the refund, and that they were on the phone in that instant notifying customers of the refund. Upon checking my credit card statement, the refund had been issued a full week before. I have never received that mystery call from customer service and clearly never would have. Now, after receiving my refund, I bought the washer and dryer from another store only to have Home Everything charge me a *2nd* time for the washer and dryer! This company is dishonest and an absolute mess."
"In short, you would be making an enormous mistake to use HomeEverything.com.
In longer form, here’s what I experienced:
I ordered an LG dryer on HomeEverything.com when LG was running a special for $650 vs normal pricing at $900. This was available at Home Depot, Best Buy, HH Gregg in my local area as well for the same price, but I figured why pay the sales tax if I weren't in a hurry anyway. Because my dryer was still working and Home Everything had a high rating, and very nice website, I assumed that they were reputable, and therefore, no real risk.
I placed the order July 8, 2011. The website said it was in stock, so I assumed a quick ship. Then I was told 2-3 weeks, which seemed way too long, but I dealt with it. Then it was moved back to August 5th...again I dealt with it. Then when it didn't ship, I contacted them again. They said it would ship the next week. When it didn't, I contacted them, and they said it would ship the week of the 22nd. I contacted them on the Thursday of that week to ask for something concrete, they said it would go out the next week. Finally, on 9/6, I told them that I was going after them legally if it didn’t ship that week. Since they never replied, I sent this same message again on 9/8. Then they replied that the product would ship on 9/13. It did, and it arrived in good shape.
Unfortunately, the temporary discount that LG was running had of course lapsed, so cancelling this order and ordering at at big box store now would cost me over $300 more in total (after addl sales tax) - so they've kind of got me where I can't do much.
What I fear, as an accountant and finance guy, is that they're upside down, and that they're waiting till they have the money to buy last month's ordered appliances with next month's new revenue, and that the ponzi scheme will be collapsing soon. And everyone with orders outstanding will be stuck holding the bag.
By the way, the billing department processed the credit card on July 8th, the product arrived on September 15th. And I’m pretty certain the 2 year warranty is worthless. Hopefully, it’s not necessary anyway.

"Please do not purchase a SINGLE ITEM from this company! We patiently waited for a dryer part for several weeks, and after badgering them, we finally learned the product was permanently out of stock. They had charged our credit card on Day 1, and are now saying that they cannot refund us because they are having some type of "dispute" with their "merchant processor." They claim the charge did not originate from Home Everything, but rather from this merchant processor. They now say the only way we can get a refund is to initiate a chargeback dispute with our credit card.
The bottom line is that each day is a new story, and we still don't have a refund. While it was not a major purchase, we are still furious about it and we want our money back. Not to mention that we have wasted all of these weeks without a clothes dryer...needless to say, I am now going to order this part from Sears, which is what I should have done in the first place!! Do NOT be tempted by low prices for this company--they do not have the products they advertise and they will simply take your money.

"I wish I had checked this site before ordering from HomeEverything.com. I see others have had similar bad experiences. I ordered a GE Profile Range about 3 weeks ago. Was initially told the unit would ship in early November. Then was promised it would ship on November 20th and then November 21st. Yesterday I was sent an email informing me the unit won't ship. Moreover, the email informed me they had credited my credit card account for the amount of the sale but then went on to say that my credit card may have been "re-billed" by HomeEverything but it isn't their fault but instead the fault of the merchant processor. I called and emailed them over the course of the last few weeks and was assured the product would ship. What a fraud!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! It is a terrible vendor!!!"
"I don't even know where to begin. Purchased around $6,000 worth of products on 10-7-11. 1st half of the order came within time frame promised and product was in excellent condition. Still waiting on second half of order. I was told refund would be given to me for one of the items, which it was then charged back to my credit card the next day. Was told oven i ordered had already been shipped to me which it has not. I forwarded that bill of lading to customer service to which no response as of yet. This is very frustrating. I will never use this company again. I wish i would have seen these reviews first. "
"My story is like the others I've read here. We ordered a cooktop on 9/25/2011. I actually called to ask if the item was available because another company had kept us waiting for three weeks before telling us they could not supply the appliance. After being told HomeEverything could ship the cooktop immediately, I happily placed the order.
After hearing nothing for several weeks, I called customer service. They told me there had been a delay, but it would be shipped between 10/25 and 1/11. By November 1st we had heard nothing, so I called again and was promised it would be shipped on 11/4. On 11/8 we still had no confirmation of shipment, so I called again. This time, they said it would go out on Friday, 11/11. I called Friday afternoon, and finally was told that they could not get the cooktop we had ordered. They promised a full refund and apologized for the inconvenience.
After checking my bank account, I saw that they had indeed refunded the money--two days before they told me they were cancelling the order. One day after the refund, they charged me the refunded amount again. By the time I talked to customer service on 11/11, they had already refunded and recharged me. I thought this was just a mistake and just figured they would refund the amount again.
Six days later, I haven't seen my refund and have, as instructed by HomeEverything, initiated the chargeback dispute with my bank. This process took over an hour. The customer service rep could tell me nothing except to shove the responsibility off on PaymentTech, their merchant processor.
So here I am, almost two months after the initial order with no cooktop, no money to put towards another one, and many hours wasted trying to get a straight answer from this company. Something is very wrong here. I wish I had read the other comments here before ordering.....
