"Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews of homeeverything and order from them trying to save a few hundred bucks on appliances. If you can wait for months and months you may get the items you order but after waiting for two months I had to cancel. For me it was frustrating that after the scheduled delivery date had come and gone with me having to contact them for an update and told the item was on backorder for another 7-10 business days even though it says available on their website is annoying. Then after reading more complaints about the process of cancellation and how long they put you on hold I was a bit worried but this is probably the only great thing I can say about homeeverything is that they were very responsive with both emails and the two times I contacted them by phone it was answered right away and I was never put on hold. Maybe I was lucky or they have hired more people. I did give homeeverything 5 days to refund the charges but after that I went ahead and took action to have the charges disputed with my credit card company which they took care of the issue right away instead of waiting for the refunds to go through.

Also, after waiting for so long the items that I ordered went on sale at my local appliance store for the same price minus the cost of tax and delivery was free having my items within the next week.

"STAY AWAY from this FRAUDULENT business!
They took and kept my money for 6 weeks then cancelled the order without notifying me. I was ordering a discontinued Maytag model which they claimed to have 11 units of in stock when I ordered. Six weeks and two missed shipping dates later, their story is that Maytag has informed them that the machine is back ordered and will not be available for several months. If you're going to lie, at least make it credible!
In short, Home Everything lies about everything, takes your money and holds it, provides no customer service (I gave up after 15 minutes holding on the phone), and will waste your time and money while providing less than nothing.

"HOME EVERYTHING IS A COMPLETE SCAM, Do not use this company. They insure they have items in stock, charge your crdit card and then never deliver. They will promise you week after week the items is going to ship and they never ship it pretty good PONZI scheme take your money and never ship the item. WARNING STAY AWAY. "If you are even thinking of doing business with this shameful company, I have two words for you - RUN AWAY. I placed my order on October 9 for a highly rated refrigerator. Payed in full by credit card. They immediately charged my card and promised to ship within a couple of weeks. A month later they still hadn't shipped, and when I wrote to inquire about a shipping date, they said 'sorry, we don't have those anymore'. At least they refunded my $2199 purchase price. 1 month wasted awaiting a refrigerator that would never arrive.

"Ordered on 10/25. Charged my credit card without shipping. Called after two weeks to find out details about shipping and I was told to wait until 11/15 when they will deliver. On 11/13 I got e-mail letting me know that "your order cannot be fulfilled and a refund was initiated". Now I am waiting for the refund. Do not waste your time with these guys. I am giving them a start because it is impossible to give them none. "

"Beware! Don't buy from this online store. I gave them the benefit of the doubt even after reading others reviews. The stove and microwave I purchased were both "in stock". After 4-5 days they said it would be 3-4 weeks before delivery because they had to wait for a truck to get full to go from NY to VA. Since I didn't need it for about 4 weeks, I said it was fine. After 2 weeks, they sent me an email saying the order had been cancelled and did not offer any explanation. Of course my credit card had been charged the day I ordered them. I personally think it is a scam. Think about it, they charge OUR cards, use OUR money for 2 weeks or longer, then cancel the order. They have been able to run THEIR business using OUR money. I plan on reporting them to the BBB and hope anyone else that they have done this to does the same. "

"Be carefull of this merchant.Ordered refrigerator 9-1-2011 credit card charged that day..promised delivery 3weeks. On the 4th week and every 7 to 10 days after I was on the phone and always some lame excuse why It was not shipped. Finally 11-3-2011 I cancelled the order..11-10-2011 they finally credited my charge card then same day recharged me again. I ended up going to my credit card bank to correct this. How much money do you want to save? Buyer Beware"

"I would give this company negative stars if it were possible. I ordered a washing machine from them on Sept 20th., and then received an email "suggesting" and additonal $40 charge for "in home delivery"My credit card was charged at this time. I received an email saying that the machine would be delivered "within 30 days". When I contacted them, I was told that they "would try" to expedite delivery. At the end of the 30 day period, when I contacted them, I was told that the store was closed for the Jewish holidays, and that my machine would be delivered "the week of Oct 31st". I then received another email, saying it would arrive "after Nov 1". I called, and was rudely told "we're behind in our orders". I emailed to cancel, and was told I had to call. I called. Customer "service" was incredibly rude, said I'd receive a confirmation email. A week later, I emailed again, and received a reply saying my credit card would be credited "within 7-10 days. The credit finally appeared on my card on Nov. 9th. I contacted another dealer, got a better price, and second day delivery. I think this company is using accounts receivable to cover current expenses, and having trouble getting merchandise from vendors as a result. I would NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS MERCHANT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES."

"The worst company I've ever (tried to) purchase a product from. I've been purchasing online for 12 years, with virtually no problems. Trying to purchase a dishwasher from homeeverything.com was a disaster. For starters, I didn't find out until after I placed the order (and they chaged my cc) that the scheduled delivery was 3-4 weeks away. Then, the delivery was re-scheduled four times. After the fourth scheduled delivery, they told me the dishwasher they received was damaged and it would be another four weeks before they could deliver it. They company is amateurish. I would highly recommend AGAINST using them."

"I ordered a washer/dryer from them in September, they gave me an estimated delivery time of 3-4 weeks. When I hadn't heard anything in 4 weeks, I called them and got some BS message that it fell off the truck and I would be getting a replacement in a week. One week later, no word, so I do some investigation and find all these bad reviews with pretty much the same story. So I called them and cancelled the order. It took them 9 business days to refund my money (as opposed to the instant charge when I ordered) - got the credit yesterday and THEN THE SAME DAY another charge for the same order! So this isn't over yet and of course they are closed today. I think I'm just going to have my credit card company do a chargeback, what a PITA. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Shady business with sketchy business practices. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

I went to Sears the same day I cancelled - which was last Tuesday, ordered a washer and dryer and it will be delivered this Tuesday, they already called today to confirm delivery and time. That is the way customer service is done!

Updated 12/17/11 - I finally, after a ton of documentation to my cc company and numerous phonecalls, was able to get the charge reversed. I then promptly closed my CC account so it couldn't happen again. What a pain! I am going to take this up with the BBB and the Attorney General of NY.

All of us who have not received refunds from our canceled orders need to file complaints and put this company out of business.

My story is the same as everyone else's. They charged my account, told me excuses (the same excuses they used on others), then after 10 weeks they cancelled my order. Four days after they say they issued my refund it still has not posted to my account.

Here are the details: I placed an order for a dishwasher on September 4, 2011. Now on November 14 -- 10 weeks later -- I still haven't received it and they tell me they've canceled my order. When I asked about receiving a refund, they responded that they have issued me one, but -- get this -- they say if I don't see it posted to my account within 72 hours "we suggest opening a dispute with your credit card for the amount charged." Are they really going to make me do that instead of handling the refund properly? We'll see.

Their explanation for the cancellation is that Bosch, the manufacturer, has the unit on back order and it won't be available for months. But, just three weeks ago they told me they had received my unit from Bosch, but it had been damaged in shipping. At that time, they said Bosch had promised to get a replacement unit to HE within a week and HE promised me that they would ship it to me as soon as they received it from Bosch. That day came and went without a word from them.

I don't buy their excuses. First, Bosch knows how to pack their equipment so it is not damaged in shipping. Second, Bosch would not have promised to replace a unit within a week only to revise it soon after saying it is on back order and won't be available for months. A major company like Bosch would not be in business if it didn't know its product stock better than that. The story HE told me doesn't make sense.

Stay away from Home Everything. They aren't worth whatever they promise you.

"After over two months of waiting for a washer and dryer set and being lied to over and over about my items shipping time, HomeEverything cancelled me order. When asked to have a manager call me, no one every would. All Emails get an automated response back. Toward the end they offered me a free 5 year warranty on each item to give them an extra week to ship. I was told that nothing was on backorder when I made the order. Next they told me that one item had come damaged and they had to reorder. Then they promised that the items would ship by a certain dates, which they didn't. If you crave stress and disappointment then order from these people. "

"I ordered a washer/dryer pair more than two moths ago. They chaged my credit card on the day that I placed the order. After two months, and several inquiries, I still don't have the items shiped. Every time I called, theu said it wil be shipped within a week. Then they send me an email indicating that they will refund my money!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY."

"If there was a ZERO rating for satisfaction, they would get it from me. Avoid this store at all costs. They billed my credit card 3 days after my order and I was told it would take 7-14 days to process my order. 3 weeks later I got a shipping date that was two more weeks away. It didn't ship during that one week window and I was told it would ship the next week. Didn't ship again and was given a firm date that was now 41 days after my order had been placed. The day after that date I still had no shipping confirmation and contacted customer service again and got an email that they had canceled my order and would start the refund process. I should have never been billed in the first place for a product that never shipped. I can't believe I tried to wait this long for a washer because I thought it was a good deal. Horrible, horrible company that will string you along as long as you let them. BEWARE"
