"Placed an order almost 2 months ago. Merchant charged my credit card and informed shipping would occur in 5 weeks. After 5 weeks I contacted merchant and they informed me that it will ship next week. After hearing nothing further I contacted them a second time and was told it would ship by the end of the week. At the end of the week I received an email saying they could not fulfill my order and were canceling it. No reasoning or apology. Could not recommend this merchant."

"DON'T SHOP WITH THEM!!! LIARS!!

Placed an order for 5 appliances. I called to cancel the washer and dryer. Two weeks later still no refund. Called and they told me 5-7 days, LIE! After I received my order for the other items, only 2 of the 3 arrived I called and they said they can not get the cook top. Why wasn't I told??? I could have ordered from somewhere else since my counter top template is to be done next week. I checked my statement for a refund. They charged my credit card for the cook top again then backed it out. Called them once again... They said it could take up to two weeks to receive credit. How did they charge me again and back it out in one day but it will take two days to process my credit. He said dispute it with my credit card company

"DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE!!!! I bought a washer and dryer I thought! They charged my credit card but after several weeks and several phone calls and missed delivery dates, some how the washer and dryer were damaged. I even went as far as calling Electrolux to make sure that "Home Nothing" was a legit company. After that call they just refunded my credit card. So here we are 6 weeks later with nothing. The worst customer service I have ever seen!"

"Never expect the company to take initiative to contact you if there is ever a problem with your order. You need to be proactive to get any response, feedback, even a refund. Very shoddy customer service and severe lack of attention to detail:

I was looking to purchase dishwasher salt, apparently an item that is very difficult to get in normal supply stores. HomeEverything came up in Google Shopping as having this 4 lb bag of Bosch dishwasher salt. $24, all inclusive. This was on October 6th. I get the email confirmations and see that my card was charged on the 7th. By October 20th, my item still hadn't arrived. Even with economy shipping, I thought that was slow. I also never heard anything from the company. I get a response back stating that the item was out of stock (interesting that the website didn't say that) and that it had to be ordered from the factory. But then that item came damaged, so they had to order a new one before they could ship it out to me. Um, excuse me, but we're dealing with ONE 4 lb of salt. Were they honestly telling me that they only ordered 1 bag to then ship to a customer? How big is their warehouse? The size of my bathroom? Anyway, fast forward to November 9, more than ONE MONTH after I first ordered the product. Note, the company still hadn't initiated any contact with me regarding the status of my order. I again asked what was going on with the shipment, and the reply I got was:

"Hi, I am sorry for the confusion with your order. At this time we do not have the product available to fulfill this order, under our policy we issued you a refund in full. If you do not see the refund post within the next 72 hours we suggest opening a dispute with your credit card for the amount charged. Once again I apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you, Tom"

What if they were dealing with a customer who wasn't so on top of everything? I happened to be in the middle of moving, doing construction in my new home, and taking care of a toddler and my pregnant wife. So in the month and change it took for me to spend some time on this order, this company could have paid more attention to their flubbed order and took the initiative to contact me with an update on what was happening with this one package of dishwasher salt. It's been awhile since I've seen a company this disorganized and with a server/software/customer service system that is so manually driven, lacking any automatic parameters that should go in effect when errors in orders like this occur. And based on the other reviews on this site, it seems like I'm not the only one experiencing problems.

Nevertheless, I did get a refund, but again ONLY after I again initiated the conversation and asked for a status on my order. Never--ever--buy anything from HomeEverything.com.

"These guys are terrible. Read the reviews and bought because of the price. Was billed immediately and watch my order. After 2 weeks, it finally got a delivery date of 3 weeks out. I checked today and there is no scheduled delivery date. After inquiry, they tell me that they do not have the item and are refunding my money. What a joke! "

"Place my order (& of course PAID for it) On Oct. 5th, 2011. Waited patiently for my new fridge...nothing. Called Monday Nov. 7th, 2011 and was told my fridge would be here next Thursday. Yay! Today I checked my bank account & my account had been credited. They CANCELLED my order and didn't even bother to contact me--either by phone or email?! I guess they make a fortune from the interest they make on holding customer's money for 6 weeks? NEVER BUY FROM THESE CLOWNS!!"

"WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BUY FROM HOMEEVERTHING.COM!!!!
THERE IS SOMETHING VERY SUSPICIOUS GOING ON WITH THIS COMPANY. My story is the same as most of the others on this site. Purchased an appliance, credit card charged that day and then given the run around for 2 1/2 months. I finally had my credit card company do a "charge back" and investigate the transaction as fraud. I also filed a complaint with the Brooklyn district attorneys office. Apparently if enough people complain they will investigate them.
Buyer beware!!! Save yourself a massive headache. Go to Sears or another reputable dealer in your area. They will match close to what you will find online.

"Placed an order online and funds were deducted immediately from my credit card. The dishwasher showed as being in stock, yet it wouldn't be shipped for almost 4 weeks. Typically most merchants don't charge the credit card until the item ships, but Home Everything processed the charge immediately. I called to inquire and was told they're waiting for the truck to be filled prior to shipping in order to keep their costs low. When the time came to ship it never did. I called again and was told that the item was damaged and they're waiting for a replacement. After reading many reviews for this company I've seen the same story from other people. Waiting for a truck or item was damaged. Stay away from this company. They manage to take payment immediately but they never deliver the appliances. Use Appliances Connection instead"

"DO NOT USE HOME FRAUD EVERYTHING!!! I ordered from Home Everything on 10/18/11 from Steve. He made me an offer I couldnt refuse and begged me to write him a good review giving me a song and dance about creating good customer relationships. Now I realize that the offer was so good because he had no intention of following through with it. The order was several hundred dollars below competitors but after 3 weeks, my money was refunded with not even a phone call notice that I would not be receiving my items. I contacted the business and was provided and excuse that two seperate manufacturers were several weeks behind but after speaking with AJ Madison, my order and deliver was confirmed for the same items! This was just two days after Steve called me again asking to provide another review for him on an additional site. It seems as though once they had my initial glowing review, they no longer need my business. I am disgusted by their business practices and will place a poor review on every site possible to warn off others from using this company. Even if I have to pay more for the same items elsewhere, I will. DO NOT USE HOME FRAUD EVERYTHING!"

"absolutely abysmal store ! ! !
Placed order for a stove and freezer and waited only a month until I threatened to cancel and replace from a decent vendor. I got an e-mail saying that the delivery would come in 5 days - it came about 20 days later (approx. 50 days since order). The stove was supposed to have a $50 rebate from GE but they never sent the paperwork. When I finally found out how to claim the rebate - it had expired.

"Don't Buy from this WEBSITE!!! AVOID!!!

I placed my order Oct 7th and my item hasn't even been shipped yet.
So I decided to cancel the order and gave them a call, and the guy who answered the phone said that it'll be shipped end of next week (nov 17th he says,,), so i told him that I can't wait 2 or 3 more weeks to get delivered to me and that I want to cancel my order. Then, he told me its already on a loading dock. (WTF?)
Well, so I told him I want to cancel anyway. (since its already been 1 month 1 day) and he just "Ughhh..." ed me and hung up on me!!!!.WTF?

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE. #1 worst customer service.

"Item is out of stock but shown as available on their website. They did not contact me to notify the back order status. First time I contacted them they told me it will be in 8 - 10 days. Second time I contacted them they told me it will be in after one month. Imagine if I keep waiting quietly, I can be surprised 2 month later when the item finally comes. So basically I was waiting for 3 weeks for nothing and today I cancel my order."
