"BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!! Read all the other reviews as this company has done the same to me as they have done to many others. I read several reviews prior to ordering that were great but then I found this website a little to late. I am thankful the amount that was refunded then charged back was only $257 compared to some other unfortunate customers. I have already filed an unauthorized charge complaint with my bank but it takes time to get the funds back in. I am wondering if this is even a legitiment company as it seems that most complaints are similar; the ordered merchandize is unavailable to complete the order. Are they collecting credit card information for reasons other than to purchase merchandise.???

Just for verification, I checked the showroom/warehouse and business addresses on google maps. The address listed for the showroom was a vacant lot and the business office was out in a field. So they either don't even have a showroom/office, their addresses are false or google maps is wrong which I doubt.

"Placed an order for a Webber grill in Oct. Received a email notice that my order has been cancelled and that I would get a refund. Called customer service and they claim is was damaged in shipping and that Webber will not be shipping any more grills for the season, are you kidding me???? What a lousy way to run a business. A good company would have contacted me ASAP and offer another model or something else instead of making me wait 2 months."

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I placed an order for all the new appliances for my new home which I plan to move into in 2 weeks. I received the generic email that most people ahve been getting saying the following.

Please note as your order CHO****** could not be fulfilled, we have initiated a refund to your account. Typically a refund takes approximately 24 hours to post to your account.

If your refund has not posted after such time or if this charge should inadvertently reappear on your account, kindly initiate a chargeback dispute with your credit or debit card Company as this will enable you to have your account credited immediately.

When they credited my credit card they immediately charged it again and blamed the billing company they work with.

I put in a dispute to my creditcard company and they are telling me that it could be up to 120 days to get a refund because I am located in Canada. Now I have no way of purchasing new appliances for my new home.
I am out $14,000
I wish Osama BinLadin was still alive so He would bomb this company into the ground!

"Ordered before I read the horrible reviews of this company. About a month later and after a few calls telling my order was almost ready to go - THEY cancelled my order. What a relief! They did credit my card and then recharge me but I called my credit card company and I was immediately refunded so I was Free to buy from a real company. DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY-YOU WILL REGRET IT. "

"I should've listened to my instincts when I felt apprehensive about ordering a major appliance online through a company I've never heard of. Needless to say my instincts were correct. This has been the most horrendous shopping experience of my life! I placed an order on Sept. 15, 2011. My order was supposed to have been delivered four weeks after. Four weeks passed and I didn't hear from them. I called them numerous times and they gave me the run around. Finally I canceled my order. I thought that was the end of it, but it wasn't! They credited my credit card on Nov. 9, then the next day, they charged me again! I called them to dispute it. Again they gave me the run around and told me to call my credit card co. I spent 1/2 hr on the phone with them. Hopefully this will be cleared soon. NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! The hassle is not worth the money you save."

"Like apparently so many others, I have to rate Home Everything as horrible. On Oct. 16, 2011 I ordered a Kenmore Elite Gas Range. My credit card was charged immediately. When I discovered that they were not going to ship the item for over a month I contacted them via email (their offices was closed for a week for some religious holiday and weren't answering their phones) to cancel the order. I was told that cancellations could not be accepted via email, so I called them a few days later to again request my order by cancelled. At the time of my call I was told that they would in fact ship the item the next day if I wanted to leave the order. I was told I'd receive confirmation with a tracking number the following day. I did not receive any such confirmation. When I called to pursue this I found that they had taken holiday (again!) for the remainder of the week and would not be able to tell me anything until the following week.

At this point I wrote an email informing them of my dissatisfaction with their customer service. This time they cancelled my order (note: my communication of dissatisfaction was via email, so evidently they lied when they said the couldn't process a cancellation request via email). This was on Oct. 24th, 2011. When I did not see the refund on my credit card the following business day I contacted them again only to be told that my refund wouldn't be processed for 12 to 14 days!

I waited until Nov. 9th, 2011 before the refund was finally credited back to my credit card. Much to my surprise, on Nov. 10th (the follow day) they CHARGED ME AGAIN FOR THE PURCHASE THEY'D JUST REFUNDED!!! This happened 11/10/2011 4:44:02 PM, 16 minutes before close of business on the day before a federal bank holiday (Veteran's day). When I contacted them to find out what had happened they claimed that "a third party made a mistake and that I had to contact my bank to challenge the charge."! I have since contacted my bank and reported the charge as fraudulent. I was also told that it would likely be another 12 to 14 days before they could reverse the illegal charge against my credit card!

Recommendation: do NOT under any circumstances purchase ANYTHING from this company! I attempted to follow up with them again today only to be left on hold for over 15 minutes with no hope of having the phone even answered!

"This company needs to be investigated. Everybody should file a complaint with attorney general in NY, so the class lawsuit could be open. They charge credit cards, use our money and shamelessly lie to their customers."

"I bought an item on their website and after 2 weeks I followed up and they told me it's on back order and won't be available for 4 weeks. After 1 month I get an email saying that the order could not be fulfilled and they are going to issue a refund. The item is still being sold as 'in stock' but it's now listed 4 times the price. They don't want to sell it for the price they initially listed for so they are cancelling my order! I wish I had visited this site before placing the order.... very shady!"

"On 10/9/2011 I ordered a new Washing Machine. I had shopped several sites and this one had the best price. I had called or chatted with every site I visited EXCEPT this one. My Bad!

After a couple of days, I logged in to check the status of my order, no status - so I called and was told by a live person that it takes 3 -4 weeks for an item to ship! Everyone else was 7 - 10 days.

I patiently waited - while listening to the wife complain about the laundromat. Finally, on 11/8/2011 I again called and again spoke to a live person, who assured me he understood my frustration and he needed to check with his supervisor. He came back on the phone to guarantee me I would have my washer by Friday the 11th or at the absolute latest, Monday the 14th.

On 11/10/2011 I noticed that my checkbook had more money than it should have and sure enough, home everything had done a refund. That is why they got one star. FAST FORWARD TO 11/14/2011 AND MY ACCOUNT IS NOW OVERDRAWN BECAUSE THE A$$HOLES WITHDREW THE $758.19 AGAIN. I THOUGHT IT WAS ODD OVER THE WEEKEND THAT I GOT AN E-MAIL FROM THEM TELLING ME THAT I SHOULD BE RECEIVING A REFUND (THAT I HAD ALREADY RECEIVED 2 DAYS PRIOR) BUT I DIDN'T THINK MUCH MORE ABOUT IT. THEIR E-MAIL SAID IF I DIDN'T GET IT WITHIN A WEEK TO 10 DAYS, I SHOULD INITIATE A CHARGEBACK. DID I THINK TO RETAIN THE E-MAIL, NOPE, I HAD MY MONEY SO I DUMPED THE E-MAIL. I AM SURE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR NYS WOULD HAVE LIKE A COPY OF THAT! I WANT TO TAKE AWAY MY 1 STAR!!!

I called another company and learned from their live person that the washer I ordered was on National Back-order from the manufacturer and had been for some time. They too did not have one in stock. He offered a slightly more expensive model but I chose to continue to shop and then Home Depot sent me an e-mail with their Black Friday Specials.

I got a better machine for less. I ordered it yesterday from their web site and it will be delivered on Tuesday 11/15/2011 - they called me today to confirm! I won't do business with Home Everything again and I would encourage others to avoid them like the plague!

All they had to do to make me a Happy Customer was tell me up-front in one of the several marketing e-mails or when I spoke to them that the washer was on back-order and I would have understood. They didn't, I spent over $100 taking clothes to the laundromat for the month that I waited and the best they could offer was "sorry".

"Don't use this company. I purchased a cooktop on 10/10/11 which was to be shipped within two weeks. I checked the shipping status on 10/24/11 and it showed 11/07/11. I called to ask what the story was and was told the truck didn't fill up as fast as they thought it would. I cancelled my order on 10/24/11. On 11/09/11 I received credit for the order, but was charged again for the item. I emailed Home Everything and the response was "We did indeed issue you a full refund. I am not sure why it was reversed. Please call your bank and put through a dispute for the charge. This will allow them to put a credit to your account immediately." I'm now working with the credit card company to correct this."

"WARNING: This store charged my credit card for the full amount of a washer/dryer set ($3,000), then after two weeks, sent the following generic email rescinding the order without any further explanation. "placed an order for all new appliances on 10-15 waited a month was told that the appliances where in the warehouse but the shipping was backed up and that they would be shipping the week of 11-14. We got an email on 11-11 that they would be unable to fill or order and they are canceling it. but it gets even better they said they couldn't give me a refund at this time do to processor problems and that i would have to file a dispute with my credit card for a refund.

If you are thinking for one minute about using this company run as hard as it may be to walk away from the prices RUN!

"Horrible, criminal company. Avoid at all costs. Bought a friedge from them which was never delivered and never refunded. Just get hung up on after waiting for thirty minutes when I call customer service. Having to fight my credit card company cause the charge happened a while back."

"I placed an order for a commercial grade refrigerator for my office on a Monday morning. The item was charged to my credit card in full the following day. When I had no further information a week later, I contacted customer service who replied that the item will probably ship in 2-3 more weeks! A few days later, they sent another email notifying me that my order had been cancelled as they could not fill it. It also said

WHAT? Who does that? It happened exactly as they mentioned might "inadventently" occur! They refunded and recharged the amount on my card and I have contacted my credit card company to resolve the "dispute". They now have 90 days to resolve this, so I am basically giving the #$(%&ing company a loan on my credit while our banks do a ridiculous paperwork shuffle.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! The free shipping is really a bad trap to lure people in.
