We never had to call customer service and our item was in stock, so I can't speak to the reviews that complain about the problems communicating with Home Perfect. "I ordered the Kohler K-3654 toilet (bowl & tank together). Afterwards, I discovered on their website that they sold these items separately for cheaper than they did together. Not much, just $16-$17. When I called to question this and request a change in my order, they denied that they sold toilets and tanks separately and refused to change nor cancel the order.

I've been all over that site and saw that they do indeed sell tanks and bowls separately. I asked to be charged the lower price and the response was not just an emphatic NO. Alex, the owner, said, "You're just out of luck. We're not going to refund any money. That's your tough luck."

I had just spent $1200 with these people (not including the $280 Kohler toilet order) and their website says they will offer discounts on multiple product orders, but when I commented about the fact a discount was not applied to the $1200 order, all I was asking for was the $16-$17 credit, again I got rudeness and tough luck.

Needless to say, I have other projects to do and I have friends starting remodelling projects. I will NOT be recommending this company. Obviously customer service is not a priority with this company."

7/24/10 FOLLOW UP: Ordered a large beveled mirror for bath. SRP in stores $255. Best Price in So Cal $180 + 9.75% tax from local dealer but 2-4 wks for special order. Homeperfect price $153 with no tax and free shipping. Ordered on a Sunday afternoon, shipped Monday, received FedEx Ground on Friday. I'll tell you, these guys are great!"

"After I received my order confirmation, I received another email informing me 1 of the 4 items I ordered was on backorder. However, I had been charged for all 4 items. It appeared my entire order was held up because of the 1 backordered item. In most cases, it is ILLEGAL to charge the customer if items have NOT shipped. I contacted the vendor, requesting my 3 instock items be shipped NOW. The next day I received an email confirming that shipment. Had I not contacted the vendor, my order was still be sitting unshipped, while my credit card had been debited. That bad business practice. "

It has been one month and nothing has shown up, they charged me + - $600 for nothing!!! No response from company, will have to dispute with Credit card co and hope for best.
