"I ordered a Kohler kitchen sink from Home Perfect. It was delivered November 2nd and when I opened it one large corner was broken off making the sink unusable. Home Perfect took no responsibility for the damage. The freight company took no responsibility and now I'm out $388. Beware of the no tax or shipping charge enticement. It isn't worth it to do business with a company that doesn't treat its customers fairly. I'll never do business with them again. "

"I recently ordered a faucet from Home Perfect. You are unable to tell if a product is on back-order when the order is placed. I received a back-order confirmation on 11/15 that noted that the product woudl be shipped in 3-4 weeks. I really did not want to wait but really wanted the product and the pricing was good. My credit card was charged immediately but the site noted that this is how they operated on special orders. On 12/2/10 I received a confirmation that my order was cancelled because it was on back order and no longer being manufactured. I find this completely unaccepatable. Here I was expecting the product in a week and after 19 days of placing my order got a message that it was no longer being made. No call of comparable items or suggestions just that hte order was cancelled. I was left scrambling to find a replacement so that I coudl get this installed before the holidays."

"I ordered 2 Bathroom sinks.
I used this site because they claimed the sinks were both in stock, and would ship to me in 1 day.

3 Days later I get a backorder notification of 4-5 Weeks. After 5 Weeks - still nothing. During this time I have received 3 Marketing emails to buy more stuff from them.

After waiting over a month for something that should have taken 2 days, I canceled the order.

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. ANY POSITIVE FEEDBACK YOU DO SEE WAS EITHER AN ACCIDENT OR SLIGHT OF HAND BY THE COMPANY THEMSELVES.

Horrible - this company has botched two orders so badly and then handled the customer service so poorly that I can only wish them bankruptcy. First line of customer service is in India and they can do nothing. If you really want to reach someone that can sort of help you have to call the main sales number and ask for sales to get a person. Then ask for 'Returns' which will get you a person that will be incompetent and rude but will do something. In my case they promised to check in to the issues and get back to me but never did anything in a timely manner or accurately.

"Home Perfect never shipped the item they claimed was in stock -- every time I called it was a different story about when it would ship. Finally I cancelled and requested confirmation of refund. No confirmation. I still don't know if they refunded my card, so I'll have to file a dispute with my credit card. What a waste of time."

"Don't buy here. Worst experience and customer service I ever had. I accidently confirmed a purchase I didn't want. I contacted them within 10 min and asked to cancel. They told me it was too late. The shipping label wasn't even processed until 10 hours later. They told me I could return it with a 25% restocking fee (which I was not happy about). Now they are ignoring my requests in trying to find out how to return the item to them. I have sent 6 emails as of today, using the posted returns email address from the site, with no reply. Nowadays I make about 70% of all my purchases online and can truly say that this company is the worst I've ever dealt with."

"I ordered a Blanco sink and the sink arrived with a dent. The dent was obvious I didn't take it out of the box. It took a month and a half to finally emailed my refund notice on 10/19/10 and that was because I called them. The returning process took alot of waiting and phone calls. The other thing Home Perfect would not process the return until the RGA form was filled and submitted along with a picture of the dent. I think this was ridicules. I believe they send the damage merchandise and try to make you pay the returning fee or the restocking fee.

This is my first and last shopping with this company.

Goodbye, I will never ever again shop Home Perfect.

"Great company!! We completely renovated our bathroom, and ordered everything from Home Perfect. They have the best prices on high end products like Duravit, Hansgrohe, etc. My salesperson, Frank, was very knowledgeable on all the products and kept me informed on delivery. Everything came a few days later and in perfect condition. Everything in life should be this easy....! Will definitely order from them again!!"

"Ordered two faucets before leaving on vacation so they'd be waiting for me when I returned. I have encountered the problem before of websites saying items were "in stock" only to have the status change to "back-ordered" after an order is placed, so I called to confirm that both items were really in stock. A very nice lady checked both and said "yes - they were both in stock" - so I placed the order.
Two weeks later I returned from vacation and nothing had been delivered. I checked my email and the order status said, "released for shipment" which could mean anything and didn't give me much reassurance that my items were on their way. So, I called and was told one of the items was back-ordered 3-4 weeks. I immediately cancelled the order and am currently waiting for the credit to show up on my charge card.
I guess this is one of the things you can expect when you shop for best price on the internet - companies will say/do anything to get you to place order, then keep you in the dark or string you along about delays hoping you won't cancel. I had the delivery date for back-ordered items pushed back three times with a previous website I had tried to order from before I finally gave up and cancelled. I'm slowly learning my lesson.
I guess "released for shipment" meant nothing more than my credit card had been successfully charged and the order would be filled - whenever the company actually got around to it. If a website keeps you in the dark and can't send you a simple email with an honest and clear description of an order's status - run.

"I ordered an expensive sink. It was delivered very promptly 3 days later. Nobody was available when it was delivered just before the holiday weekend. Whe it was initially inspected it seemed OK but when it was fully unpacked it was discovered that there were a number of big dents.

It was duly reported and a great deal was made of the 48hour reporting requirement. They have finally agreed to collect the damaged item but still refuse to replace it until the damage has been adjudicated which they say might take a month. They can only offer me the opportunity to buy another! It is unclear to us whether the damage took place before or during shipping; the packaging was however in very bad shape with taped over holes but none of these seem to align with the dents

"I will not use this company again. Beware - read the fine print. The faucet I ordered arrived and I called a contractor to install it. He came to our house a couple of weeks later when he could fit us into his schedule and when he opened the Delta box, found that the faucet plate was bent. I called to do an exchange for a new plate and the company said because the faucet had been in my posession over 48 hours it was not their responsibility and would do nothing about it."

"I placed several large orders for plumbing and bath accessories with Home Perfect during my house renovation and found the HP team to be excellent. Their prices were the best, and I only had positive experiences dealing with the customer service folks. I am actually surprised to read about the negative experiences of others because I dealt with this company and this team over 3 months, placing multiple orders with multiple items in each. They were thorough, professional, and responsive. One item in particular was significantly backordered but the sales rep was up front about the original back order status and the whole team got involved and advocated for me with the manufacturer when the timing was slipping beyond what I could handle (coordinating installations with construction, etc). Shipping on all of the other items I purchased was typically faster than advertised and often came within 1-2 days. I absolutely will look to order from HP again in the future."

"What a great experience. My sales associate was so helpful. I needed my item immediately and she was able to make that happen. We had been having a difficult time with our kitchen renovation as well as difficulties with other vendors who over charged us and really gave us a run around. Everyone tied to this transaction was helpful, accommodating and patient. I would highly recommend them and order from them again. "

"I have mixed reviews. Communication was terrific, however, return policy stinks. I ordered a part to a sink because the represenative from Home Perfect told me it was a needed item. When it arrived, I realized the part I needed was included with the sink, so I didn't need the part the Home Perfect rep told me to buy. When I sent it back, I was charged 25% restocking! This seems unfair since I asked the question of what I needed and if the rep didn't know, she should have said so. As long as you are sure of exactly what you need, I would highly recommend this company. Just make sure you don't need to return anything. I am adding that it is now August 24 and to date I still have not received my refund. I was told it would take 21 days to receive a refund. I have purchased from other sights and this company has the worst return policy to date.When I received my credit, it came out to about 35% restocking! Do not do business with this company. I have sent e-mails inquiring why I was charged so much, but to date I have received no answer."

""PLEASE BEWARE EVERYONE! I wish there was a 0 star selection...that's how bad. I was in a hurry and under stress due to my ongoing huge remodel. I didn't do my homework...shame on me. This company is the worst I have ever had any experience with. I ordered $1,100 in products, which were advertised as in stock, and ready to ship. They weren't, yet they charged my card for the FULL amount. They sent me an email containing a notice of backordered items indicating a timeframe of 3 to 5 weeks for availability! Of this order, two boxes arrived containing 3 of the 9 items ordered. The porcelain sink was shipped in the manufacture's box only! It was, of course, shattered. By email I was informed I had to wait until they filed a claim with FedEx to get THEIR money back (for a poorly packaged item) before I would receive a refund! They were the shipper and payer of the postage; this should in no way have anything to do with my receiving a refund. The other two items were small items. They arrived loose in a small box without any packaging around the individual items at all. Are they returns? Used? I don't know. I find it very odd there was no original packaging around these items. I have never seen these items sold with no packaging...two shower valves and a strainer basket for a sink drain. This company has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! …voice mail only. I never got a single return phone call. I wrote numerous emails without response. The only response came 10 days after my initial attempt to contact them, and didn’t address my questions and concerns. THEY THEN ACTUALLY BLOCKED MY EMAILS. I have filed a dispute with Wells Fargo, my card account carrier, and will leave negative feedback wherever I can to stop these people from taking advantage of anyone else. " Today is August 03, 2010, still no refund for the shattered sink. What a surprise."
