"I purchased a fantech whole house air filter and later the filter replacements through Home Perfect. Their prices were far below any other place I found. All orders were made online. I am extremely happy with Home Perfect, and other than the fact that both items were backordered, I have no complaints. I recieved prompt emails after ordering to let me know the status of my order, and later when they were shipped."

"I ordered a faucet and soap dispenser from Mike. I told him that I was skeptical ordering online where I can't leave a store with exactly what I wanted. When my order came the faucet had a problem. Mike contacted me to see if I received the order and was happy! There was two small stains around the faucet but even though I thought they were probably just cosmetic, I sent a Mike a picture and he sent me specific instructions on how to return it. Without Mike, I probably would have never ordered from this store again and been dissatisfied every time I looked at the faucet. Instead I will think of Mike and be grateful every time I do look at and use the faucet.
Mike is a true asset to this company! Thanks Mike!

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY -- THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. Purchased a Kohler brushed nickel faucet and a matching Kohler soap dispenser, the dispenser was on back order and shipped separately. After receiving the faucet I noticed the sprayer was a different color/finish than the faucet. I called Home Perfect and was told to call Kohler. In the mean time, the dispenser was delivered and with a totally different finish. Kohler sent a new sprayer with a finish that matched the faucet and told me Home Perfect needs to correct the dispenser. Home Perfect said they would need pictures to make the exchange and they didn't want the package opened. I explained the dispenser was in a clear plastic wrapper and it would be difficult to take a picture without getting glare. They insisted and also wanted a picture of the package that stated "Brushed Nickel". I took numerous pictures and sent the best possible. They came back with "there really isn't a picture showing the actual finish of the item, more just labels" and they wanted more pictures. The dispenser comes in other brushed finishes and it looks more like stainless. The item costs $45 and I'm wasting a lot of my time. What other retailer makes the customer call the manufacturer?? What I didn't have a computer or digital camera?? They give you the run around and no, they don't have the lowest prices. I'm out $45. If I can warn other customers, it is worth it"

"I was very happy to see the first of two faucets arrive quite promptly, however the very upsetting part of dealing with HomePerfect is their return policy. HomePerfect has a website that is less than user friendly and as a result of this I ordered a chrome faucet instead of a stainless steel finish. I bought the stainless steel from them when I discovered the ordering problem. HomePerfect is charging me a 25% restock fee which in my case is $50. This totally offesets any gain on the apparent great pricing they offered on the product. At issue is the lack of their website to distinguish between the different finishes as they appear in Amazon.com - making their products look very price worthy. This is mis-leading and unfair. HomePerfect is still demanding the excessive restock fee. I'll not do business w/ them again if this doesn't resolve.

PROLOG - They still stiffed me for 20% restock - Good business..Not so much.

"I ordered a facuet online with Christy a couple days ago. Within an hour, I called her line directly to cancel the order. Christy was extremely rude and unhelpful. First she insisted that since the invoice had been printed she could not cancel the order. She then claimed that it had already been packed and put on the truck, and could not be taken off. She concluded the conversation by hanging up on me.

My credit card company called them to again try to cancel the order. He called me back and said that they were defensive, unhelpful and inconsistent. He said this is very unusual, as most merchants are more than willing to cancel orders within a couple hours of ordering and the customer service was unique in its attitude and refusal to help. The "manager" he spoke to even refused to give him her ID # or name.

Buyer beware. Do NOT order from this site.

"Their salesperson was very helpful. However, their shipping was very, very slow. The item that I ordered took an entire week before it was shipped from their warehouse. It took a total about 12 business days to arrive; the salesperson said it would take to 5-7 business days. When I called to inquire about when the item would ship, their support person was helpful. Unlike some of their competitors. The item arrived undamaged and was the correct item. "

"Months ago I ordered a set of three lights for my new bath. Since then it has been one mistake after another. Received two of the wrong lights, requested replacement, spent multiple phone calls to resolve, sent pictures many times of the wrong product, was told they would replace, months later only one replacement was recieved, again it is wrong. Trying to get my money back and order from a reputable company. Not much luck and my bath is still dark."

"I'm so mad I did not read this site before I placed my order with Home Perfect. I placed an order on Saturday. Within one hour I emailed them to tell them I ordered the wrong finish and wanted to change my order from stainless steel to chrome. No response back so I waited till Monday morning to call them. They said my order was already on the truck and could not be changed. I kept pleading with them but the 2 different sales people I talked to were rude and would not listen to me. They sounded more like they were reading off a computer screen instead of trying to give good customer service. SO now if I want to EXCHANGE this item, I still have to pay a 25% restocking fee. I'm sure they are a total legit site, but they just have the WORST customer service ever. THe sales rep wouldn't even let me speak to the manager saying that he/ she was too busy with another customer. So he just transferred me to a random voicemail and I'm sure I will never hear back from them. Unless you know exactly what you want, stay away from this site. "

"If the item is in stock there is immediate delivery, however, after waiting six weeks for backordered items I had to cancel. I could get no date other than "three to four weeks it will be delivered". Customer service was non-responsive. The cost in frustration was not worth the savings in price."

"WOW! I must say this was the scariest site I have ever visited. I found this thread AFTER I placed my order with homeperfect.com on 3/3/11 (after 3pm EST). After searching far & wide on the W.W.W. I found the PERFECT shower system (a Moen 2 person) at an AMAZING price, even a little less than our local DirectBuy club! So without digging around I blindly placed my order. THEN I found this site and I was so scared! Well long story short...I DID recieve an email confirmation with valid tracking numbers. I tracked my order and it safely arrived on my doorstep...in tact with all the pieces! and shipping was FREE!!! I'm not sure what went wrong with what seems like everyone else's orders but I am so happy I WILL definitely use this site again! I would put my name but there are crazies out there; but yes I am a real person, consumer, advocate, etc!"
