"My wife ordered the 500 count 6 piece Concierge Collection sheet set for $71.25 and washed them the other day to have them come out with piling and it looks like pulled areas on the top sheet. HSN will not take them back since we missed the 90 day cutoff by four days. They did give us a @20.00 credit in their defense but we are out the other $51.25. These sheets were made in India with a 60% cotton and 40% polyester blend. We did notice other people on the HSN reviews who also had this same problem with piling. These sheets are a ripoff in my opinion and we will not be buying anything else from HSN ever. We will always shop and buy from their competitor QVC because they have much better quality and customer service."

"This company's shipping structure (for a small package) is the most ridiculous I've ever seen. First they email you a UPS tracking number, which you can track, but then suddenly your package seems to have been delivered. But not to you. So, you call, and they inform you that there's some hinky set-up where UPS delivers the package to your local USPS office, where it goes through a whole new process of being sorted, stamped, etc., and then eventually you may or may not get it. After three phone calls, I was told of this process, and am now trying to track my package through USPS, and expected it two days ago....still have not received it. I get mail from either coast faster than this (I'm in the mountain west); snail mail, UPS, Fedex, there's nowhere more than three days from me. NOWHERE. It's been almost two weeks since I ordered.
It's absolutely stupid. I ship and have things shipped to me A LOT and this is the longest, most convoluted, round-about way of doing on-line business I have EVER seen!! I will never order anything from this company again. I wish I'd just gone to Amazon. Only old ladies don't know that this is the worst shipping time known to man. The rest of us should help our aunties, grandma's, moms know that there are other options. You can even find the same or similar products for much, MUCH less on other on-line vendors. say no!!!!"
"I just paid 10.93 extra for an order, which I now cannot cancel. Be aware of undisclosed deadlines and cost discrepancies between phone and Internet orders.
The 15% off coupon, which was the reason for the order, didn't work because it had expired, even though there was no expiration date on it. State taxes are included on phone orders that are free on Internet orders. Shipping was included on the phone order that would have been free if I'd ordered it over the Internet. The cutoff for canceling the order was last night at midnight, which was only about three hours after I'd placed the order. Today it's too late. If I cancel now I'll have to pay $6.95 for the return, even though it hasn't shipped yet.
The state taxes I can understand. The shipping I can't. It's still being shipped regardless of how it was ordered. The phone ordering is automated just like the Internet.
The customer service rep said, well now I'll know for the future. I hate these kinds of "gotchas". What I know for the future is that I just placed my last order with HSN. I'll be interested to see if they post this.

"Terrible! Shop QVC instead. I ordered a Virgin Mobile smartphone on June 10 and was told that my item would arrive on June 20. Throughout this time no changes or updates were made to my order status and I spent time every day in chat with representatives who assured me my order had shipped and would definitely arrive on the 20th. Now its the 21st and my order is confirmed NOT SHIPPED! The tracking number provided by HSN is invalid and they insist it is correct. USPS confirms that they were notified of the shipment on June 16 but then never got the item and have no information regarding it. The representatives have been ignorant and combative and caught in many lies regarding the status of this order. As this point I have no way to know if I will ever get my order. I will never shop HSN again.
I was also overcharged for the phone. The manufacturer reduced the price a few days before I placed my order but HSN failed to update their system to reflect this. When I checked on my order on the 21st I saw that HSN had finally reduced the price, but I was charged an extra 50.00 anyhow. They DID immediately issue a refund when I called them on this, however, that is only reflected in my HSN account and not in the bank. Ill believe it when I see it. If I get it I will edit this report."

I HAVE CANCELLED OVER SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS OF MERCHANDISE AND WILL NEVER AGAIN ORDER FROM HSN DUE TO LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEIR REQUIREMENTS.

"Took about 15 hours to even get a confirmation. Three days later they canceled my order saying that the coupon I used was "incorrectly applied to your order" despite the whole order going through fine on the site and hundreds of others using the coupon the same day just fine. Not a good buying experience, and I will not be shopping there again."
"Ordered Emierlware didn't know first payment included shipping and handling and taxes. I even confirmed with Helen rep. the monthly payment amount. Looked at my bank account online and they took more than I agreed to. So 2 hours later I called and cancelled the order. Order never left HSN. Wrote a letter last night when does payment show back in bank account. No reply, just called HSN rep. says 3 to 5 business days. Are you kidding me order was 2 hours old. He said usual time for returns, but item never left HSN or was processed. I just asked my information be removed from their data base. I'll only use QVC who I never had problems with."
"Their freight carrier (Old Dominion Freight Line Incorporated) refused to carry a 200 lb treadmill into my home when they called to schedule a delivery per my agreement w/ HSN, said they would dump it on my driveway. I told them to ship it back to HSN. I would buy from BEST BUY...better customer servicer w/ delivery. They then lied to HSN and said they delivered it to my home the next day. I had already told HSN that I had refused the item and why. I don't have the item and they have nothing with my signature on it, so my bank charged the item back to HSN. I even called the Local Police Dept. to Report This Incident. HSN should not do business w/ these people nor should anyone else! HSN said they would investigate the incident, did not seem to be in a hurry to get my money back to me and it has been two weeks. They told me that my signature must be on the paperwork...but I can assure them no one ever delivered anything to me. They could not produce anything with my signature of course but held up getting my money back to me. Damage Resulting = $727.55 still waiting to see it back. I will never do business with either company. "
"This is just about rude/unhelpful customer service...we received a gift of pan set available only through HSN Ingenious Designs with a lifetime warranty.
One pan was clearly defective, the so called customer service claimed that since it was a gift and we were not the "Original Purchaser" the warranty was void and "too bad for you".
A supervisor was even more mean nasty implying since we could not prove we bought the pans that we must have stolen them...eventually spoke with a VP who said send in the pan.
We did at our expense only to receive it back with a nasty letter saying the pan was not warped you must have dropped it to make it that way.
To warp a pan like that the force it would take would show on the undented, unscratched bottom paint.
The only purchase we actually made was defective electronics...the price was about average but the shipping was free...still no matter the price an item should not be DOA out of the box.
Quality control and customer service are non existent at HSN and never again would we even think of turning the channel on much less order again.
As for future gifts, since we have told everyone we know of this horrid experience...if we ever receive a gift from an HSN exclusive it would have to be from clueless stranger.
If there was a possible negative rating available this is one company that surely deserves it...
