"I placed an order for a product in September and had some issues when ordering so I Called the number listed and spoke to a lady named Jessica. She was able to walk me through what happened then place a new order since my other one never went through. Was a wonderful experience with her and she made it very easy when I thought it was going to be a nightmare. Got my product had no problems out of it till today it stopped working and emailed to get a replacement to find out she is no longer there.. tried calling the customer service number and got no answer or return phone call.. email never responded either.. hopefully I can get this solved..."
"I ordered a lcd screen on 1/21/2011 and the item has not been shipped yet. The money was withdrawn from my account right away but I am yet to receive the email confirming shipment of the screen. I have sent 3 emails so far and I have received 1 response asking me to wait a few days. I was under the impression that the item was in stock when I was allowed to submit the order. So far I am not satisfied with the service. I hope that I can am proven wrong and can turn this into a positive experience."

"I bought a replacement power cord for laptop, works great. Great price, received the item within 1-2days. Lower quality material, but expected for 25% of the cost of official replacement. It works perfectly and is a very low price. Site looks somewhat shady based on appearance, but I had no problems and would use it again in the future."
"horrible! Ordered a Christmas gift with plenty of time to spare. (12/17/2010) Never recieved shipment info so I called to check order status on 12/21/2010. (Not quite the 24 hour turn around they stated, even though the money was deducted from my account on 12/17/2010).
Got a voicemail box that was full. Continued to try to reach them several more times to get the same full voicemail box.
Decided to call repeatedly. Set my phone to auto redial and on call 10 someone half asleep answered just saying hello. Then proceeds to tell me that he had not shipped it but would ship it today. catch... won't be here by Christmas. One of the items I ordered was out of stock so rather than contact me to recieve instructions they just took my money and sat on it.
DO NOT buy from them. Found it elsewhere, BLISS COMPUTERS. Have to pay extra to get it by Christmas but within 20 minutes receved confimation that it will be here in time.
Now we will see if they can manage a refund!

"October 4th I order proper screen - received incorrect part from Hootoo (mistake was all thiers - I provided correst part number and they verfied) - after several attempts via email to contact customer service finally received a reply - after answering a list of questions they finally supplied a RMA to return item (AT MY EXPENSE) - they stated they would send the correct item (mistake was all theirs) but they have never sent the correct item or returned my payment. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - EVER
WOW - day after I posted this I received email from HooToo service with a second RMA - item had been retuned (RMA#106619) via trackable means and they had received it November 4th - had it marked properly and tons of informational paperwork inside. They just don't want to give my payment back. DO NOT USE HOOTOO!!!!!
WOW Again - January 20, 2011 after I took legal action to have my money returned I receive an email from HOOTOO saying they sent my item and provide a FedEx tracking number - FIRST TIME they actually said they sent it (a little over 3 months ago) - unfortunately it is still sitting at the FedEx facility in Puerto Rico where they sent it - not very convenient for me to pickup from here in the states. I have no idea why they sent it there or why it took them so long to figure that out - another mistake they probably won’t take responsibility for. Don’t buy from HOOTOO!"
"Ordered a screen for Acer netbook on Monday arrived on Saturday. Screen was double boxed, bubble wrapped, and in an anti static bag. The screen is exactly as described on their web page (which by the way was very helpful, had pictures of the back of the screen with the circuit board and location of connector). Installed the screen and it worked great. I received an email confirming the order immediately after submitting it, and another one the next day confirming it was instock and would ship that day. Later that day I received a tracking number for the package shipping USPS Priority mail. Not much else I could ask for in service from this company, I would recommend them and will use them again in the future if they have what I am looking for. "

Getting through to Customer service by phone wasnt easy but whenb i did get through ui was very pleased with the help I received from Jessica. Jessica made the technical problems i had placing my orders all go away and left me feeling happy to have done business with HooToo. She was one of the nicest and most helpful Customer service people I have EVER dealt with. (not exaggerating)
If it had not been for her I would have perhaps looked elsewhere for my purchase. because of her professionalism i will definately be going back to HooToo in the future."

"Horrible site to shop off of, customer service alright. I just wanted to buy a labtop adapter I found it on the website and ordered it. I randomly decided to look at my order because I like to keep track of where my orders are and when I was looking at it it said. 0 products but I was charged over 20 bucks still for my adapter + shipping. Not knowing why it was showing 0 products I tried to call the customer service. They didn't pick up and their mailbox was full. I sent an e-mail then instead. The next day I tried calling again and the lines were busy so I had to call multiple times to get through. They told me they would figure it out and send the product to me with express delivery. Well that didn't happen I later recieved an email telling me to resend the order and they gave me a coupon code to get 8% off my order. Which only took a dollar off. I ordered again and I left them a message that they told me I would get free express delivery. After my order again I look and this time I'm charged twice and again on both of the seperate orders 0 products. So 40 bucks there no products. Furious I called again. It took quite a few tries to get a call in and when they did pick up they told me they had no record of anything. I'm currently waiting for my bank statement in the mail to figure out if I was charged for 3 adapters without any products. If I am I will be calling again furious and demanding my money back. I do not recommend to buy from this site at all."
"Hootoo has very bad products and very bad aftersales. Bought a new battery for my laptop. Battery is empty after 1 hour of usage !
I sent 4 complaint mails to Hootoo.com , but no reaction at all !
My advise is not to buy products at Hootoo.com

"This was a first time I have bought anything from HooToo and I knew there were risks, but their website looked good and they seemed like a legit business. I placed two orders totaling $1,418 of which $400 order came, but not the right model screens. The other order of $1,000 never got filled. All attempts to contact them after that failed, phone said I couldn't leave any message at any extension and their emails bounced. Those that got through were never responded to. I had to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back and 3 months after my order, still no second order and no one ever responded to my complaints or questions. I would not recommend dealing with these people to my worst enemy."
