"Ordered a fan assembly for a Toshiba Satellite 1735. The part shipped several days late, but arrived in three days after shipping, which is good considering it usually takes something 4 days to reach me when shipping three day select.
I heard something rattling around in the package and thought that the part had broken in shipping, but it turned out to be a free set of precision screwdrivers. Seems to be an apology for the delay in shipping, which is fine by me, considering I had no idea how I was going to get my laptop apart."

4/24/03(today) - check status of order on web: order is on hold!!!!!

"Placed order March 4 at 10:18, site says all orders before noon shipped same day. Ordered 2 day air. Checked back Evening of 5 since no email with tracking or shipment info. Order says in Process.Called and after a lengthy wait talked to a customer support person who did not speak english very well and after trying to explain the problem got something like part out of stock in today will update to next day air no charge have tomorrow.Checked later still no tracking info. Order now says cancelled. No email no call nothing. I sent 5 emails to everyone in their company list did not recieve any reply. At this point I would not give these people my credit card information If I were you.Wish I hadn't, still dont know If I will get my money back or not. Beware.
Update I recieved a refund on March 14. I recieved the product and had to return it as I had already ordered else where as I had no idea product was ever going to ship I never recieved a reason for in-answers from calls and emails. I ordered the product from another company and recieved it in 2 days. I also never recieved any tracking numbers or emails from Impact Computers as they have said. Here it is 2 years later and they are finially getting around to answering bad reviews. But as I said I did get my money back."
"I ordered an "original" Toshiba battery. I received a refurbished one. Two days ago, the RMA department said they'd call me right bact. My last call to the RMA department left me on interminable hold (at my expense)."
"Not good so far. Ordered "New and original" IBM laptop batteries (according to their website), and received old ones that don't hold a charge. Only two of three were actually shipped - the other is simply crossed off the invoice, w/o any indication of backorder etc. So far, only a voicemail box answers the phone.
Will post a followup message regarding satisfaction (or not!) when the order is complete.

The website showed my order as being cancelled even though everything was fine with my order. Customer service through e-mail was slow to non-responsive.
