"I had order a motherboard from Infinity Systems Plus and paid $9.99 for an assembly fee. When I received my product 9 years ago, it was not assembled (even though I paid for it to be) and wrote them an email. After days of not hearing anything back, I called them a number of times and eventually gave up. After 9 years, I finally got a response which basically was them saying that they were not going to do anything about my outdated issue and didn't care.
"Event date: Feb 27, 2009
Date: Feb 27, 2009
Subject: PayPal money request from ****** **
Note: My order number is 6017679 and I ordered a case and motherboard from you guys. I also paid the 9. 99 assembly fee but when I got my orders, it was not assembled like I paid for. I would like a refund on the assembly fee. I have called four times but still haven't received my refund."
9 years for a reply... what a joke. BUYERS, BEWARE! DO NOT BUY OR TRUST THEM! "
"So here is one good review in the midst of lot of negative reviews.
By mistake i did not researched fully about the seller, and i ordered for a custom pc amouting to $700. Few days later, i was really petrified after reading the reviews in this site. As said by others, i did not received replies for any of my mails (thats too bad). After 5/6 days he contacted on phone and informed that item has been shipped. But there was no update to shipping status for next 3 days. 9 days after ordering, i received the item. Much to my relief, it had all components i ordered, along with drivers, cartons of motherboard, video card etc. Reading others reviews, i would consider myself really lucky. Seller needs to really improve in few areas to make it a good transaction. 1. employ a person who will reply to mails, phones immediately. 2. for godsake, please show some useful information in online tracking. right now it takes some information and shows a message that seller would reply back. 3. If the shipment is going to be delayed, its better inform the buyer. This would save lot of headache.
Overall i would say i'm happy at the end of transaction but till then it was a nightmare.

"Good prices because they don't send you what you ordered!!! I received a far inferior mobo from the one I ordered. After a phone call and an email no response at all! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!!"
"I ordered three systems on Tuesday at noon (two identical, one slightly different) and paid an extra $62.00 for "UPS Ground Rush!!! Ships within 1-3 days insured". UPS says they received them on Monday afternoon and I got them the next Tuesday. Glad I paid extra for the two weeks rush job. When they arrived one of the boxes was not in very good shape, torn and slightly smashed, due to bad packaging. To my surprise nothing was broken and everything worked great. Prices are good, system configurator worked fine but no response to emails.

"The last two months have been a horrible. First the company tried to ship me an E8300 CPU when i ordered a Q9300 cpu. I noticed, I shipped it back. They replaced the processor, the computer blue screens on start up doesn not load windows. I shipped the computer back again, the computer is resend SAME PROBLEM doesn't load windows on start up. I have paid over 100+ dollars so far in shipping this computer back to this company and they ship the thing back with the same problem still intacted. Nearly impossible to get these guys on the phone and they have not answered my emails at all.
Horrible, I shipped back again and ask for a refund. They have had the computer for the last two days and they still haven't respond on the phone or with emails.
Frankly, WORST company EVER. Refurbished parts, switch parts in orde, ie, 300 dollar cpu switch to 99 dollar cpu. Doesn't respond to emails and rarely picks up their phone."
"I bought a couple of computers from this company that to me were a steal. But they almost stole from me. I bought 2 at 199 each expecting to get what I paid for. I got a call a day later with them trying to up sale me to a better deal (which just seemed to me that I would be helping them out) I politely declined and said that I would just like to get what I ordered. He insisted that it was a better deal, I informed him that I would just prefer to get what I ordered. he told me that he would work it out. I got my computers about a couple of days without the OS CD for my vista machine but got one with my xp machine. A phone call later and they informed me that a OEM vista doesn't come with them. I asked why not he informed me that Microsoft was sending them out that way. But he would send me a backup cd for the computer. later on I found that the computer I bought was more on my credit card then what the invoice said when I bought it. I called once to get the correct about charged and it wasn't done. I called again and he finally did it. I then had a bad hard drive go out in one of the computers and sent it back to them and was sent back to me that said it tested ok. I put it in another system to find the same problem again. And when I had to swap the hard drive out I had to reactivate the xp which I wasn't able to do over the internet because they had activated it to many times. That was the only time I ever used the code. So how could I activate it to many times? I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS AGAIN!"
"Wow...had I read this site prior to my order, I wouldn't have ordered from them. Now I know why...
I received my ordered today, nearly a week after ordering. Why offer "rush" shipping if it takes almost a week to get there? There's scam #1. Then I specified on my order I wanted an ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 board (which is a Core 2 Duo board w/an AGP slot as I have an AGP video card) and received an ASROCK Wolfdale1333-D667, scam #2. Then if that wasn't bad enough, the board I wanted was a full-ATX and the one I was sent is a Micro ATX (w/only 2 PCI slots), scam #3. Then on top of all of that, my memory I already have is not compatible w/the board they sent me, scam #4. What kind of ****** operation are these guys running? If you don't have what I want in stock, either list it as sold out, out of stock, or at least contact me and let me know. Don't just randomly pick something sitting in your building and ship it to me. At least the processor and case are right, so far. God willing they will work ok. Not able to test them out yet, since they sent me the wrong stuff. Never will order from these guys again!
Edit: After purchasing the correct motherboard from Newegg, I was able to test the case and CPU that ISP sent me and, SHOCK, they didn't work! Either the case wiring or CPU were DOA or something, or Newegg's mb was DOA, which I doubt since I trust Newegg and wouldn't trust ISP as far as I can throw them. These guys need to be shut down for running such a scam-filled operation."
"Given all the horror stories written here about these guys, I have to say I'm satisfied with my computer so far (Core2 Quad q6600, 4gb ram, Radeon HD2600 pro video card, Asus P5B SE motherboard). It's only been a few hours, and I'll post again if anything breaks, but the parts are all exactly what I ordered, and I found no mistakes with the construction.
I have to say, however, that the ordering experience was a little frightening. I was never sent a tracking number or told when my order was shipping, despite several attempts to get their automated system to do so. For all apparent purposes, the "request tracking info" function on their site just takes your e-mail address and order number and sends it aimlessly into the ether.
Anyway, a week of anxiety aside, what really matters in the end is that the computer arrives as ordered in a reasonable amount of time, and I was pleasantly surprised when, a week after ordering, it arrived as promised and works like a charm. What's more, it was very cheap (a little over $600) for a very powerful computer.
Perhaps I'm simply an anomaly, but contrasting my experience with most of the comments here, it would seem like this company has cleaned up it's act."
"BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! These guys are running a scam!!! Ordered ECS board and got a PC Chips!!! Buyer Beware!! Buyer Beware!! Not that the board I got is inferior quality but its not what I ordered and expected. Their PriceWatch listing has been removed. AGAIN I SAY BUYER BEWARE!!"
"On 07/23/07,I ordered a computer,it came with the wrong motherboard,no hard drive cooler even though I paid for one and a missing front panel from the tower case. The front panel was broken.Emails went unanswered as usual about this.Eventually got in touch with Alex and Bob on the phone.Alex said they didn't get the motherboard that I ordered and they put a different one without even consulting me.I did my research and found out that ASRock did replace the one that they were selling on their site. I tried to talk to Alex, then I started talking to Bob who told me to send back the motherboard and the specifications of the one I wanted. He would then ship the replacement motherboard, the hard drive cooler and the missing front panel.I received the motherboard I wanted but there was no hard drive cooler and no front panel.Numerous emails to Alex went unanswered and I am still waiting for my hard drive cooler and front panel."
"This is my second purchase from this company. I purchased my first computer about 7 years ago. I was very satisfied with my previous purchase. I can however see some degradation in the service. I placed my order on the 5th of July, 2007 and didn't receive my computer till the 24th of July, nearly 4 weeks later. I was e-mailed tracking information on the 12th which didn't update till the 19th! I was patient throughout the whole time having faith that my 2nd experience with this company will be just as good as my last. Shipping time aside, upon receiving the computer I immediately opened it up to inspect how it was constructed. I noticed that I received a different motherboard and dvd burner from what I had originally ordered. I didn't mind this too much, seeing as the motherboard I did receive was almost identical to the one I had ordered, but some communication would have been nice to let me know what to expect. Upon further examination of my computer, I noticed that the dvd burner had no cables going to it, and the hard drive only had one cable going to the motherboard. Having a half-decent knowledge of building computers, I easily connected the cables so everything was properly set up. I install my video card and some additional fans, double check the connections and close the computer, hook it up, and attempt to boot up.
I get some beeps and nothing else. So I troubleshoot the beeps and I thought it was the video card. I tell myself, ok, no big deal just make sure that it's installed all the way. So I double check and everything seems fine. A quick google search on my laptop lead me to a website which suggested it was the ram. So I open the computer up and check the ram, and what do you know, it wasn't fully in place.
Booted up fine after that, installed windows and so far so good. All in all, these were minor problems that didn't upset me at all, but still a nuisance as well. Would I order from this company again? Probably not, and the reason for that is that I have enough knowledge now on how to build computers. If I didn't feel as knowledgeable as I do now, then yes, I would order again without too much worry and knowing what to expect.
All in all, if you're patient and not paranoid you're gonna be ripped off, chances are you'll get your order eventually and it should be fine. Panic in most cases only causes more confusion in my eyes."
"Ordered a socket 939 based system. Just needed a basic box that had Windows XP legally installed (and media and COA), received an AM2 based system instead (there goes the idea of using my 2GB of DDR-1). Got a call on my cell phone less than 24 hours after placing order online, trying to upgrade the optical drive (thanks for using up my cell minutes!)
System started reporting errors during post and windows start. I am A+ and Network+ certified with two computer degrees as well. Diagnosed problem, turned out to be a bad RAM slot. Contacted PC-infinity.net and PCINIFINTY.COM (same company, same addresses, same contact numbers), with NO REPLY. Then called tech support, voice mail full, then called customer service. Was told to ship entire PC without an RMA, but with full detailed instruction sheet. Wait a minute, you have an RMA policy, but don't want me using it? Something sounds fishy. Tried for online RMA, not working either, tried an online e-mail... surprise!!! it's not working. Finally sent an e-mail (using my OWN e-mail client rather than their online form), and sent the SAME e-mail to customer support, tech support, and RMA support. It's been over two weeks. No replies from the 3 e-mail addresses. Avoid these idiots like the plague. I'm contacting the BBB in FLA as well as the State Attorney General's office for Florida, these guys needs to close shop. What good is a budget system if it stops working after 3 months?
Do yourself a favor... spend your money elsewhere!"
"After this past experience, I wouldn't touch these guys with a 10 foot pole. I ordered a complete system from them in January. The system was supposed to be: Pentium D 950, 160 gig HD, DVD-R/RW, and 512 MB of 667 RAM, along with an installation of Windows XP Media Center. Well, about two/three weeks after recieving the system, I went to turn it on and nothing happened. The computer was dead. I tried contacting them no fewer than 4 times through both their support form and support email, and I also tried calling thier support number. The emails went unanswered and the phone calls led to a "This mailbox is full" message. So, I figured I was on my own. I tried switching out the power supply, but it wasn't that, leading me to believe that it was the MB that was shot. Still, no support. Then, I noticed some things that made this go from bad to worse. When I opened the case to troubleshoot the dead computer, I noticed that the memory was not 667 memory, even though I had paid 10 bucks extra for an upgrade from 533. Then I noticed that the hard drive (which was curiously larger than I had ordered-200 Gig) was a seagate "Certified Repaired HDD". More investigation revealed that the system was build with a Pentium D 945 instead of the 950 (about a 60-70 dollar difference street value). So, fraudulent false advertisement. Once again, still no contact nor way to contact them. I had no choice but to file a complaint with the US internet fraud reporting site, and the BBB, and Wells Fargo (my bank) is currently working on getting the charges reversed. So, in short, once they have your money, there is no support provided, they do not honor their warranty, and the system did not come with the advertised components, including some refurbished components, which is fraudulent. Stay away from these people. Hopefully, somebody can shut them down, as we should NOT have businesses like this in the US. "
"Purchased a "retail" AMD processor, and a "retail" copy of Windows Vista Premium. What I got was the right processor, but with no packaging at all. No box means no 3 yr warranty, which I paid for. I dont even know if the chip is used or new. And the copy of Windows I got was a OEM Builders Edition, labeled right on it, "not for indivual sale". According to the packaging, I'm not even supposed to open it unless I'm building a computer to sell. This site is nothing but a scam. I was stupid enough to ignore the bad feedback and place my order anyway, but I'm begging you not to. These guys need to be delivering pizzas, not selling computer supplies."
"Beautiful service, some parts were delayed in coming (a case fan is still on the way) but overall great service. I have a Pentium D 945 3.4GHZ, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, AND a new video card which is light years beyond anything I've had before, an XFX Geforce 7600GT Extreme Edition PCI-E!
I don't know if I'll buy again because of (now) severely limited funds (not to mention this computer is all I need now) but if I ever come into a windfall and a need for a new computer, I'll consider Infinity Systems Plus (or ICN as they call themselves on the phone)."
