Watch what you buy

"I purchased two sets of ink for my HP Office Jet Pro 6968. the product arrived in a good time. I then tried to install the cartridges and the printer would not read the chip. The printer thought there was no ink in the cartridges. When I opened the cover to remove the ink, there was plenty of ink all over the place. the cartridges either sprayed or leaked ink everywhere. I thought I could rely on the stated guarantee so I called the company. I did not hear or understand that they wanted me to return the defective products because the agent stated that these cartridges did not have the proper HP chip in them. They were working on this problem but it was not finished. When I finally got straight what they wanted from me, it was to late, I had already thrown the ink away. The customer relations person stated that because I did not have anything to send back, there was nothing they would do. My suggestion is to be very careful when you order from this company. I noticed the other ratings and see that they are not well thought of."

Customer Loyalty Means Little

"I have been a customer since 2012 and never had a problem with customer service until now. I was upset with not getting my order after making a change in profile to correct it. I was upset more by the attitude. I asked if the order did not arrive if I was still being charged and I was told absolutely. When staff gets defensive instead of problem solving, it's good to know they aren't the only game in town. I am sure this will go down quickly but customers beware."

What a really bad company

"I am so angry !! They have the worst customer service ever. I bought 3 cartilages for my new epson, their wedbside missleaded me to buy the wrong ones. They don't want to take responsibility for that. Now I need to pay to return two of them because the third one I opened up to check my printer and they don't take any open one. Plus the women don't let you talk they want to say want ever they need to say as fast as they can say it...... Any way PLEASE DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!!! "

"I purchased about a dozen ink cartridges for my HP Photosmart 7520 printer. I do a high volume of business and personal printing so the price of the OEM HP ink cartridges was getting to be too much. I decided to try the Inkjet Superstore because not only were their advertised prices low, but they claimed to have cartridges with a "New Chip" installed indicating that my HP printer would operate as if the original OEM cartridge was installed. WRONG!

I initially installed the black XL cartridge and the minute that I closed the lid the printer displayed the message "Non-HP cartridge Installed" and locked the printer up. I tried many times to manually reset this and even removed the cartridge and put the original HP OEM cartridge back in. Nothing worked. The printer was a brick and nothing made it respond.

After several phone calls back to the HP tech department and about a dozen emails back and forth, I was finally given the secret code to forcing a reset onto the printer. This worked just fine. The problem is that HP printers send out usage information and my installation of the Inkjet Superstore cartridge immediately voided out my factory warranty.

I have an advanced degree in computer science from MIT. I called the customer service department of the Inkjet Superstore and spoke with Chris. He treated me like I was a complete idiot that didn't even know how to turn on a printer. I calmly explained that I had an advanced degree in computer science and to simply tell me what I could do to make the cartridges that I had bought work with my printer -- after all, the warranty was voided now anyway so I had nothing to lose. He gave me a list of generic YouTube video links that showed me how to install an ink cartridge in my printer. Duh. Again, I called back and got Chris.

After several phone calls with Chris, he finally gave me an RMA to return my ink cartridges. I packed them all up in a large bubble wrap envelope and he received them on the 7th of June. It is now the 23rd of June and I have still not received one red cent.

I have called and emailed the Inkjet Superstore a number of times the past couple days. Of course I get Chris each time -- he must be their only customer support person. He tells me -- now get this -- that they only received 3 ink cartridges back from me and they were all empty!!! However, as an accommodation, they were going to refund me for 2 of the cartridges. How sweet of them huh?

Incredibly, after I tell them that I am going to spread the word far and wide across the internet about their crappy ink cartridges and lousy customer service, they send me a photo that they took TODAY with two ink cartridges in it that had been opened telling me that this was somehow what I sent them almost a month ago. Duh.

Oh yeah, the emails purported to come from someone named "Kyung S. Chung" but the email address was "****@****."

Folks, spread the word far and wide that this outfit will sell you junk cartridges that virtually destroy your printer, give you lousy customer service and then screw you out of giving your money back.

DO NOT BUY FROM THE INKJET SUPERSTORE!!!

"Ordered some cartridges; one would not print at all, another would print 3/4 of a line, and 1/4 of the line would be blank.

Very poor customer service when I called in. Chris sounded like he was either on drugs or asleep.

"So far I am not impressed with this company. They E-Mailed me and said they received my order, but I have heard nothing since then and that was on 10/13/14. I called today and finally spoke to a live person, she could not find my order. She said she would have someone call me and so far I have heard nothing. I have also sent two E-Mails regarding my order and have heard nothing back. I always give everyone the benefit of a doubt, but I am about to give up on this company. Lynne Hazlewood"

"Ordered printer cart and on the 9.12.2014 I received an email that it was shipped. On 9.22.2014 I sent in an incident report that I have not recieved my cart... no response. I called on 9.24.2014 and waited on hold for a total of 15 minutes to speak to sales. I was told it was delivered on 9.11.2014. I was then told to go ask all of my neighbors if they had it. I then asked for a manager and was transferred to "Chris" would not give me his last name. I was told they would file a claim with the distribution dept. I asked when I would hear back from them and "I do not know"....
Buyer beware!!!!!!! Never from them again.
"Chris" called and sent another cart which di arrive but I could never get a shipping number from them to check on. I sent several emails and as of now they have responded to anything.

"Bought brother "compatible" color toners from inkjet superstore - they leaked everywhere.
After replacing drum unit due to damage from leaked ink, bought brother oem black ink. Printed with spots down the side, but brother warranty took care of it quickly. In the meantime, used inkjet superstore's "compatible" black. Splotches everywhere. Should have known better.

"Consumers BEWARE!!! After placing my first order with this company I received a phone call from a telemarketer who was trying to sell me some type of internet security protection for all my online credit card purchases. I told them I was not interested in any service but they would not accept no for an answer 3 minutes into the conversation and very frustrated I lost my cool and advised them in a stern voice that my contact information is registered with the federal “Do Not Call List” and demanded to know how they got my info.

The rep told me that his company received my contact information through on of their participating database collecting agencies/companies for which I had previously place an online order with he went on to state that said company name is IJSS Inc. which stands for Inkjetsuperstore.com and that if I had any complaints pertaining to my information being distributed I would need to contact the company for which has made my information public.

As you ‘all can imagine my frustrations after hearing such news. I contacted IJSS and spoke with the operator I advised him of what had transpired and why it was that his company sold my information without my consent?

The guy quickly became very defensive and belligerent, he told me his company does not sell anyone’s information and that unless I had concrete proof that IJSS did in fact sold my information to a third party then there was nothing he could do. I quickly replied with I’m taking my business elsewhere and I was shocked to hear his response which was: Perhaps it is all for the best. Thank you for your business. And then said is there anything else I can assist you with, I was like really, I mean I was flabbergasted this company just de-valued my privacy as well as a paying customer.

In response to his lack of care I said yes cancel my order a total of $125.00 and issue me a full refund, the man replied with an I’m sorry I can’t do that you must wait until you receive your items and then call in for a RMA, I told him that I will not be contacting his company again and that I will refuse the order when it arrives and that his company needs to issue a full refund of my monies he said I need to send an email to ****@**** and that if there was anything else I needed? I asked to speak with the supervisor and he replied with your speaking with the owner “Ilan Douek” I already advised you on what you need to do if there is nothing else have a great day and before I could say another word I got a click followed by a busy signal.

So if you value your privacy and believe you have self-worth do take your business elsewhere, because it is clear that this organization starting from the head of the table down to its employees do not value their customer base or their privacy. I for one will NEVER-EVER support this brand and will be sure to educate everyone I come in contact with online or otherwise in hopes to save them from experiencing the same horrible nightmare I had to endure. Never Again, I will keep you all posted on what happens with my refund.

"Having trouble with some of there "compatable" laser cartridges. Wanted to order an OEM version while I was returning the bad ones. InkJetSupereStore price $124.99 and a competitor (Inktechnologies.com) price is $86.00 with free shipping. Hmmm....tried to get InJet to match and they said they do not match prices. Also, they didn't say ok to return the bad ones they sent me...just gave instruction on how to clean them and try again. I should note that our business has had trouble with the quality of their products before, but just didn't complain (just accepted them). I will not use InkJetSuperstore again."

"Ordered 4 cartridges for my HP printer. One of the cartridges was half as large as it should have been. They said to use it anyway, that it was a new design. Yet they charged more for this "large" size cartridge. They had a difficult time even determining what I had. I had to send them a photo of the cartridge. Someone else is full filling the orders and they did not know what I received even by the item numbers.
Poor quality control. Will not go back after that run around.
