"Before placing my order, I called and asked the salesperson to verify availability. I was told it was physically available in their warehouse.
I placed the order for next day shipment. The next day, nothing had shipped, and only after I called I received a cancellation email.
I don't understand why did they waste their time and mine by telling me a lie about availability. Nothing would have happened if they just told me the truth (that the product was not available)"
"Generally happy with my experience with this company. I purchased high-end digital camera equipment. One problem arose with warranty of a product that customer service dealt with effeciently and to my satisfaction."
"The Samsung TV purchased for my husband's birthday was damaged in shipment. Reaching customer service was nearly impossible...long waits on line, transfers between departments, no call backs although they were promised. The return process was cumbersome as coordination between Inoax and shipper was unclear. Although arrangements were supposedly made, it took at least 4 calls to make it actually happen. A cable sold to me at time of purchase was not compatible with our cable box and was returned in January, new in original packaging. Even though I have proof of delivery, Inoax has not issued a refund three months after return. Weekly letters to company have not resolved the problem. I do not recommend this company at any level."
"The Sales person threatened me!!! Do not buy from this company! I ordered a canon Optura 30 from this company. The sales person asked me to order some extra package and I reclined that. Then the sales person told me that they do not have the camcorder in stock. After three weeks, they still do not have the camcorder. When I told the salesperson that I want to cancel the order and I will write negative reviews, he told me he is going to charge me a cancellation fee and send a bomb to my house. I am very angry and scared now."
"Would never use again. Ordered Nikon ($1200)lens for tirp and paid extra for delivery. Told repeatedly would be here. VERY long hold times for customer service. Did not arrive. Customer service gave bogus FedEx number. Turns out warehouse shipped lens to store and not me. Not here in time. Was given $20 credit for my trouble. Next time will use B&H even if price is more.
This is an update as of March 1, 2005.
In summary, they have lied to me at every turn. For example, they ARE NOT an authorized Nikon dealer, as I was told originally. Their "parent company" is. But check them out and they have bad ratings too: 1 stop cameras. Notice how many other names they have used.
I cancelled my order on 2/22 after running out of patience. They finally mailed the lens, but it was a grey market with no USA warranty and no ability to get rebate, both of which were promised by the salesman. I returned it at my expense. Overall I was given a total of EIGHT promised delivery dates, none of which ever happened. I was told last week that my credit card would be credited with the debit, but as of today, it has still not shown up. Considering the many other choices of merchants, I will never use them again. There is no reason to."
"The worst mail order company:
1. order process slow,
2. hidden mandatory 5% insurance coverage,
3. bogus, unworthy warranty offer,
4. still ship something you have canceled before
shipping taken place,
5. never response to complaint."
"I shopped feverishly for a good bargain on a new television for my home and by comparing prices this website seemed to be the best. When I called to inquire about specific products they told me they run two webites,INOAX.com and FOTOCONNECTION.com one was for international sales the other for local/US sales. My sales rep Eric was a smooth talking car saleman wannabe. He told me they had the best price but to buy their product I had to get a warranty and extra cables. He said that was the only way they would sell it to me. Then he said I had to pay shipping insurance that was figured to be about 10% of the purchase price, he said everyone in the business required shipping insurance. Big Lie. They say they are an authorized Sony dealer, but I called Sony USA and they have never heard of them and Sony referred me to its website listing all the authorized Sony resellers. I bought from ONECALL.com and would suggest that you view their rating."
"I wanted the Magellan Explorist 200 because it just had come out. After researching prices I finally found Inoax.com. After speaking with a knowledgeable salesman I purchased this model with some accessories. In which they have so much in stock. "
"Ordered a digital SLR over the web. Got an email saying I had to call to confirm the order. They then tried to sell me every imaginable accessory at inflated prices. After I balked at buying the extended warranty, they told me the camera I ordered did not have a US warranty, but was a gray market model. They said I had to pay $80 more if I wanted the US model. They said the web site said this. I looked on the web site and it said US warranty. When I pointed this out to them they played dumb and said it would still cost more if I wanted the US warranty. I recommend you avoid these bait and switch crooks!"
"I was concerned at first, after I read all of the negitive reports, but I am happy to say that they came through for me. I ordered a Garmin CF Que 1620 online from Inoax on 12/27/04. "Scott" from Inoax called me later that morning to confirm the order and to make sure I knew what I was ordering. I told him I knew what I was ordering and he did not try to push any accessories at me, I guess because I was ordering an accessory for my PDA. The item was shipped out with an accurate DHL tracking number on 12/27/04 and I received it on 12/30/04. I just might do business with them again. "
"Placed Internet order 12/14. Received e-mail asking to verify credit; all they wanted was CID number (they had it). Wasn't promised before Christmas, but received call 12/29 saying that Coolpix 3200 was out of stock/no longer made (web site said available); offered to upgrade to Coolpix 3700 claiming cheaper with mail-in rebate. Would not quote new prices. Check reviews for this merchant BEFORE ordering anything. Caveate emptor. Two other Internet orders placed with other merchants after INOAX were received exactly as promised!"
"I ordered Sony Cybershot P100 camera. Two days later received an email asking me to call the company to confirm the order. Called a couple of times and left voice mails - no one responded. Finally, on 12/16 talked to Ronald Johnson. He told me I was lucky he found my order based on the number I gave him (?!?), he told me that P100 was excellent camera, but it did not have any memory (?!?), and I needed to order memory separatelly. At that point I asked him to cancel my order.
I will never give my business to Inoax again!"
"Had a very bad experience with this Company. My order was cancelled by the sales rep when I declined to buy additional products.
Neverever buy from this Company. Its a big fraud."
"Got an e-mail today from Joey in Customer Service asking that I call to confirm my order. When I called he tried to sell me additional stuff. Then, he told me the price was $100 more than what was shown in my order, because they would not sell me the package I ordered (and which is still advertised on their website). They would only sell it with an additional warranty, which brought the price up by $100. I told him to cancel the order, and he said that he would."
"Bad bad bad company. I usually don't give out bad comments, but I've been waiting for almost a week for my order to process. I got an email 5 days later to call inoax to confirm my order. When I called in, the guy was asking me if I want a battery to go along with Canon GL2. On their website, the package I order included battery and other 10 items; however, the guy said it's only the camera body. I was so disappointed and went back to see. They took the product down.
Please don't waste your time with this company. What I'm worry is these people might run other selling site too. *cross my fingers* I hope I won't run into these kind of people again."
