"Inoax provided the worst customer service I have ever received. Not only were they rude, but they were dishonest and refused to acknowledge any responsibility for messing up my order. They kept me on hold for over 10 minutes two different times. And never waited for my answer when asking if I could be put on hold.
I attempted to order a digital camera, which they advertised as having in stock. The sales rep was argumentative and lied about the expected life of the battery in hopes that I would buy additional batteries. I have previous experience with the model I was attempting to purchase and already knew of its capabilities. The sales rep claimed the batteries life was 40% of what it actually is.
I ordered the camera, but it did not arrive within the expected shipping window. I then called the company only to wait on hold for 15 minutes. I eventually spoke to someone in customer service who never explained the problem but transferred me to a sales rep who then informed me that the camera was not in stock and they wouldn't be getting any more. Inoax never contacted me to inform me of this until I made the phone call 6 days after the order was placed. The sales rep then offered to sell me a different model for 150 dollars more. They also argued that they were not responsible for messing up the order because they had sent me an e-mail explaining the problem. The e-mail arrived after I talked to the person in customer service while I was still talking to the sales rep. That would make this the second blatant lie in this story. But this is the paraphrased version (despite being a few paragraphs); the real story includes two other lies including being deceptive about prices.
But you should get the point by now. Inoax was deceptive, dishonest, irresponsible, and unethical. I will never attempt to purchase anything from them again, and will warn all of my friends against shopping there."
"I placed my order a week ago for a Fujifilm Finepix S5000, and they never called me to "confirm" my order. Every time I tried calling the customer service, they were either closed or I was put on hold for too long. They told me they could only ship to my old address (what a pain). The guy confirming my order did numerous times to try and sell me additional products, and i ended up getting a 64MB card for the camera since it only came with a 16MB card. My over-all shopping experience was mediocre, and I wouldn't buy with them again."
"I ordered a Nikon 8700 from these folks. I was nervous after seeing some bad posts about them. But their price was much better than the average shop. The order was placed on Tue and arrived on Fri.
They are not that easy to work with. Placing a web order basically sits until they call you or you call them. They have to 'confirm' your order. A 'confirm' means time to sell you memory and other accessories. I wanted only the camera and no extra warrenty. I won't say it was hard sell more like a medium. So my order was confirmed and shipped in two days.
What I think these guys need to do to improve their ratings is provide a more automated ordering system that would email you a tracking number and process status.

"VERY GOOD PRICE ON ITEM ORDERED. FAST DELIVERY. EASY TO ORDER ON LINE"
"Took 3 days for order to be processed and then confirmed with a phone call trying to sell me more items. Order was not shipped complete and still have not received the complete order. Close to impossible to talk with company and next to impossible to return anything. They require a phone call, then they email you a form you need to fqx to them, and you then wait for a return fax with the return number. Still waiting 5 days later. Phone calls go unaswered during businees hours. Be forewarned."
"Excellent had the item exactley when they stated it would be here and it is exactley what I ordered. Thanks!!!!!!"
"Three words sum it up: Fake Tracking Number.
Placed an order for a Canon Optura 10 on Dec. 5th. After phone call for high-pressure sales tactics trying to sell me accesories, warranty, etc., told me numerous times that it would ship today/tomorrow, but would never give tracking number. After two weeks, finally gave me a tracking number, but it was fake. Seventeen days, several phone calls and gray hairs later, I finally came to my senses and canceled the order. NEVER TRUST THESE LYING CHEATS WITH ANYTHING."
"I ordered an Olympus digital camera from inoax.com on December 3rd, 2003. The transaction went normal and they did have one of the best prices. However, when I called to check on my order I was offered a $99 special; a 3 year service contract, rechargeable battery, Mini Tripod, lens cleaning kit, carrying case, and $40 certificate good at their web site.
I was not interested in their offer, however with the $40 certificate it did make it a reasonable offer. When I received the order there was no $40 certificate so I called them. Only after I called did anyone mention that the $40 certificate was really just a rebate form from Olympus (which I had already obtained from Olympus directly).
Their (inoax.com) sales person intentionally misrepresented what was in the $99 special just to make the sale. They denied my claims that the sale person made it sound like the $40 certificate was from inoax.com and not just a rebate from Olympus. Not a good sales practice. They refused to offer any satisfaction other then for me to return every thing, including the camera.

"I (tried to) bought a Minolta Dimage Xt on their website on the 7th of December. On the 12th, I received an email saying my ordre had been canceled. I never canceled it. So I called them, and a (stupid) guy just told me my order was "out of the system", and that there was nothing he could do about it. Then he asked me if I wanted any accessory with it, I refused, so he just hang up ... Don't go there, you'll waste your time."
"I purchased a Sony Cybershot DSC-P92 ($349 + $17.95 shipping) with them in September. First I hesitated, since I heard about these companies in Brooklyn, lowest prices but then extremely high shipping costs and/or accessories/warranties, or even worse things like billing without delivering and so. But in fact, the whole thing went through pretty good. I ordered, and two days later got a call from a sales person. He wanted me to purchase an additional warranty, talking something about manufacturer warranty not valid or so (didn't quite understand), and things like memory stick and other accessories. I eventually told him that the camera's a gift so I really don't want anything else. He accepted and confirmed the order. Then I had to refuse another time (shipping method this time), since it really wasn't urgent and $17.95 is already quite expensive, imho. But that was no problem either. I got a confirmation e-mail after that, and two(!) days later I already received the camera, although I had the cheapest shipping method."
"I recently purchased (still in the shipping process) Sony TRV33 camcorder from inoax and I am overall pretty much satisfied with my shopping experience. Initially I was a bit hesitant as I didn't want to order any accessories, so I called them first and frankly asked if my order will go through without any accessories.
I spoke to a representative named "Roman" and he was very nice and said that I just need to order what I really want. He suggested to place an order over the phone, so that he would process it immediately. I agreed and placed the order. He did insist that I buy extended warranty but didn't push me too hard. My camcorder was shipped the next day as he promised (without the warranty or any accessories).
Now I am just waiting for it to reach my hands :-)"
"I purchased a Nikon 5700 from their website. Their website doesn't display the final purchase receit upon completion of the order only that is was completed. This poses a possible problem if you are interested in submitting a rebate. An email confirmation of the order is then sent to you afterwards. A couple of days later I received an unexpected call from one of their sales reps attempting to sell me insurance & accessories. I politely refused to purchase anything and finally had him process the order. Since I paid extra for a UPS 3-day delivery I received the the complete boxed camera in about 5 days; Apparently it took them another couple of days to ship the unit. Overall, I was somewhat dissapointed with the whole process. I would be hesitant to purchase another item from them again."
