"I have ordered several items from J & P and am satisfied with their service. Unfortunately in Alaska the shipping Co. holds the items for 3 or 4 days in Anchorage before giving it to a 3rd. agent who holds it for another 3 or 4 days. I spend a lot of time tracking shipments."

"Tires are difficult t o come By where I’m at. Local dealers didn’t have any and if they found one, it was a month or two out. I remembered J&P had motorcycle stuff. This was where I tan into problems first. I started a chat window with a so called “expert” in asking about a tire I wanted to purchase. He asked me what kind of vehicle. I told him and to my suprise his answer was embarrassing. He said “why would I need a rear tire for a snow machine?” This should’ve been my first clue to look elsewhere. If you can’t figure out I’m looking for a tire for a bike, there’s a problem.

I finally found a tire I needed and went to purchase. It said it would be a 2-4 day shipping, Normal ground for free, or I could get it 1-2 days with an additional fee. I chose the first. This would fit perfectly in my plans for the weekend. That came and went with no tire. Tracking said (by the fourth day) it was still in process. Monday comes and an email is sent to J&P with queries yo what’s going on. I get an answer back the following day, “your order is being processed, thank you for the purchase”. No answer at all of why it’s taking so long. A few more days go by and another email sent. To which the answer comes back, “it’s in process”. I look into the tracking and now it’s moved to loading. Skip forward another week, unanswered emails, online chats that go nowhere. I check again and it says in transit, or, delayed (3 times). And still no answer to my emails. Finally, 15 days later I receive my tire.
This has been the worst in customer service, or online chats, I’ve ever had. What ever happened to helping the customers and making sure they’re taken care of.
