"A friend had loaned me his rain gear and I ripped it. So I needed to replace it. There was no way I was going to replace it with some cheap junk again - so I looked online and these chaps looked great. He seems very satisfied, so thanks. Here are his comments: The rain chaps just arrived about 3 p.m. this afternoon. They appear to pretty well made -- rip stop nylon lined on the inside with something, kinda of like a thin layer of rubber. They are well-stitched and the velcro straps appear to be strong and to overlap enough to secure firmly. Can also "un-velcro" up each leg -- which means, if one does it correctly (un=velcroed and rolled up) you can put them on over boots -- and that's a plus. Rain in the forecast for later this week. I'll give them a lengthy test during the heaviest rain I can get when the rain comes."
