"Had a flaw in there shipping option for USPS, no insurance option was available and it wasn’t indicated anywhere that item will not be insured. I always insured “All” of my online purchases. So my package got stolen and USPS and Jab-tech won’t take the responsibility. After few emails Jab-tech finally ask me to get a letter from the Postmaster to prove the package was stolen. I couldn’t get the letter because tracking showed it was delivered (I live in an apartment, package was left unattended outside and require no signature). Great…..the only way for me to not take the loss and it was impossible to do, nice proposal by Jab-tech. What a waste of time, making a few trips to the post office and emails to Jab-tech and still have to take the lost when I had the least control over the situation."
"My experience with this reseller was pretty good. Shipping was fast (one day), but then again I'm in Texas and my items shipped from Oklahoma. I mainly decided to purchase from Jab-tech because of their competitive prices, the cheapest I could find around for what I wanted.
The only thing that's bothering me is the packaging. I thought that anything I bought would come in its original packaging, unopened. But I would say 70-80% of my items were opened already, and one of my items, a case fan, didn't even come packaged, it just came as is and looked used. (I actually didn't even know if it was the fan I wanted since the brand name wasn't even on it, but I eventually found the model number.)
All that aside though, they did technically send what I asked for. I tested the fans and they all work, but I haven't tested the pump or waterblocks yet, although I'll trust that they work as well.
So, I'd say my overall experience was decent and I'd be willing to make future purchases if I ever needed to. I just wish my things came all new like they're supposed to.

Jab-tech has contacted me and explained to me quite well as to why everything came as it did. These items ARE new, but to me they only APPEARED to be used because of weak retail packaging, which is not Jab-tech's fault. The fan was supposed to come OEM ; their website did not state that it came OEM, so I thought it was supposed to come in a retail package.
Anyway, they sent what I wanted, did not make any mistakes with my order, prices were great, and apparently, everything did come as it was supposed to.
I may not have sounded too thrilled about my experience in my initial review, but in all honesty I still was quite satisfied with the transaction. Jab-tech is a nice company to do business with, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again if they had something I needed."

"I make most of my cooling and case modding purchases from jab-tech because they are usually the cheapest and have a very good selection. Recently their shipping seems to have gotten faster also, my last order shipped out the same day I ordered. I haven't had to deal with customer service yet, so I can't comment on that.
The one complaint I have is that their website doesn't seem to be compatible with firefox, although this may be the result of my security settings or something. It's not a big problem to have to use IE once in a while though. . .

"My experience with Jab-Tech began almost a month before I ever placed my first order. I had some questions about the products they were selling. So I asked for the answers to them via the “contact us” form. I expected to hear something back in a couple of days.
I was wrong…I had a response from them within a just a few hours! When they respond to you, you can see the message they receive from their web form. It has the usual stuff in it but what I was impressed with was the first part of the message; at the top of the form it says: “Customers need help!”
Talk about a great first impression, a quick reply with a definite “customers are important to us” attitude. The reply was concise and answered my questions fully.
Over the next couple weeks, I continued to ask questions…sometimes during non business hours. I ALWAYS had a consistent positive experience like I described above.
The cumulative result was that I felt I could trust this company to treat me right and decided to place my first order with them for over $400 on March 21, 2006. I don’t usually place such a large first order with a company, so this was a big deal for me.
My order was packed and ready for shipping in less than two and a half hours! Later that same day, I got confirmation from UPS that the package was on its way to me. It is true that many of the quality online retailers pack and ship fast but the reason I was especially impressed with Jab-Tech’s speed was due to the size and diversity of my order. It was a 27 line item order with many things of various sizes and such. I believe most companies would have taken longer than that.
My package arrived on March 23. I pulled out my invoice and checked off each line item to make sure everything was there. It was. Not only did they pack it fast, they packed it “right”, the first time. I like that. Everything that could possibly be damaged during shipping was wrapped with care in bubble wrap and then placed inside the box with packing peanuts.
I tested all the electrical items I bought and found out that the thermometer they sent me was broken. This did not happen because of bad packaging, it just happened to be a bad unit. I let them know about the issue and had a reply that night that said they would ship a replacement right out to me but that they would test it first.
True to their word, the next day I had a new tracking number issued to me and today I got the replacement LED. They even picked up the return postage tab so I didn’t have to pay to return the defective item! I really appreciated that.
I would like to see some improvement to Jab-Tech’s website though. When placing a large order from your wish list there is no way to add everything at once to the shopping cart. This made filling up my cart very time consuming. I believe it took me over an hour to place my order. Some of that time was me checking on different items but I’d say the majority of it was the website design.
For example; when items are loaded into the cart; you see a shorter description of the item but it is not in a list view. Therefore it takes a long time for the cart to load. Then I would have to click “back” to go to my wish list, click add, wait for it to load again, click “back”…you get the picture.
I’d also like to see their website allow you to click on the smaller picture of an item and be taken to a larger, more detailed version on all items. Similar to how FrozenCPU does it.
Even with these minor issues, I am a VERY satisfied customer. Although I hope they redesign their website; In all reality, even if they didn’t I’d still (and will) order from them again. The combination of low prices, excellent service and the “customer is first” attitude they have outshines any website design flaws.
I highly recommend this company to my closest friends and family. If my experience is any indicator, they’ll treat you right too.

I have just completed my 5th order with Jab Tech. I have been consistently pleased with each of the order experiences.
My original comments about their website still stand though. They really need an update to add some customer friendly features. The site's 'pain in the rear' factor is the only flaw I see with this store. Hopefully they will be able to improve it soon.

Only wish I could use USPS Priority Mail for orders greater than 1.5lb. I'm telling you Jab-Tech, you should just force the insurance on orders larger than 1.5lb with Priority Mail shipping instead of limiting it and eventually taking it out! The cost will still be around the same of UPS 2 day and it's still the only method that ships to PO Boxes (which is what I use)!!"
