"I have been purchasing electronic parts from Jameco several times a year for 2-3 years.
I continue buying from them because both their website and printed catalog are much easier to find parts than are other electronic part suppliers.
Although they are not as big as some of the other suppliers they seem to have IN STOCK the items I order each time. Additionally, they warehouse 90-95% of what I am looking for. They ship the same day an order is placed (providing you place your order by 3:00 PM Pacific Time.) Their shipping rates are very competitive and I have never received any damaged parts.
If you do have a problem with a shipment, call them on the phone. They have always resolved any problem to my satisfaction.

Don't dismiss the words(IN STOCK.) What good is a part number or product number if your present supplier is temporarily out of stock. When you need a part, you need it now!"

"Jameco advertises same day shipping on orders placed before 6 PM. As I placed my first order at 5 PM for quite a few different items I was certain they would not be able to keep that promise. Shortly after placing my order I received an email confirmation and about an hour after that I was emailed a shipping notification and tracking number. The parts arrived well packaged, clearly marked, and in perfect condition.

"Jameco's shipping policies are a rip-off. I placed a order which they, without notifying me, shipped from two locations. Since I specified Fed-Ex, I was charged a separate Fed-Ex charge on each piece of the order. In addition, each actual Fed-Ex charge on my bill was almost twice the $ amount they said it would be in their shipping guide. After three calls to them, they adjusted this, but they would not adjust the double shipment charges... they just said "That is our policy"."
