"I ordered 3 print bins from Jerry’s. They canceled the order because the address is not in the USPS database (new address, but I get shipments all the time).
Jerry’s never notified me of the problem. Just canceled the order. I had to call them and when I said I needed the items quickly, they said they wouldn’t fill the order. In the time since I signed up and made the order, I have gotten emails almost every day trying to sell me something - but not one saying they had cancelled my order.
I’m finished with them. I have to find or build new print bins for a show this weekend. Maybe Jerry’s is ok for one off orders, but for someone in business who is looking for a business partner to work with. NO WAY!!"
"I have been using Jerry's Artarama for some time and am very pleased with the merchandise. However last year I ordered gesso which unbeknownst to me had burst open during delivery and when I unpacked the box it dripped onto a pair of shoes and my clothes, thus staining them permanently. I contacted Jerry's and they sent another container of gesso and this too had burst during delivery. Luckily I was careful when i opened the box. I was given a refund and though I order from Jerry's Artarama still, I will not order any large liquid containers.
They need to improve their delivery system."
"I live about 30 miles from one of the stores so I have dropped in maybe once every two years for 20 years. The store was great. Then I recently bought two items online. Never again!! I have been overwhelmed by an unstoppable onslaught of junk mail. I have "successfully unsubscribed" seven times with no abatement; it just keeps coming. Who bought out Jerry's artarama? What are they thinking? It is an axiom of the American business model that all good companies get bought out by consolidators and go bad. My experience tells me that this has happened with Jerry's. I have gone from a long-time fan to never again in two weeks. "
